The Lab Corp office in Seal Beach is wonderful. The parking is easy the office is clean and well run and the staff is efficient and caring. Carlos and Brenda well take excellent care of you, I've never had a mark after my lab test and they are very efficient. This is a popular office serving the local community and you as a patient have a responsibility to have your medical test orders available so they can serve you. They do their best to track down orders but this wastes time for everyone. I highly recommend this Lab, always a pleasure to be treated by them. read more

While other Labcorp offices are overcrowded and not sticking with scheduled appointment time, none of these issues happened when I visited this office. [Pros] * Easy and free plaza parking * Friendly staff * Restroom available * Has disinfecting hand sanitizer wipes at the self check-in kiosk station * My name was called within 15 minutes of my scheduled appointment time * Fast lab results - got my routine lab report in 24 hours [Cons] * Not exactly the biggest office, but this location is generally not as crowded as other Labcorp locations (it does get packed pretty quickly depending on certain time slots) [Conclusion] While there are other closer Labcorp locations near where I live, I don't mind driving an extra distance for faster and convenient service given blood drawing itself isn't exactly a funniest experience. read more

The absolute rudest employees of ANY lab I have visited. No greeting when walking in, absolutely no help with anything. All answers "No" or "yes" no explanation or conversation. Complained about my healthcare provider all while taking no responsibility. Need a new front desk person...the current one cannot read physician orders. Bypass this LAB. Went in today for lab work and Bria drew my blood. Sweet young lady, beautiful smile. Told her my vein isn't so prominent since I've been doing IV infusions for supplements. Did you know the more you use a vein it scars? I said hope you can get that vein. She got it on the first try and did everything so quick and gentle. I wish she could do all of my lab work all the time. She's a keeper. Oh btw, I tried to leave review on labcorp website and it won't let you get past step 1, doesn't work. I started going to LabCorp many years ago as an alternative to my doctor's in-house lab, which had all kinds of problems. I was really impressed with LabCorp at that time, because everything just worked so smoothly. Unfortunately, that era seems to have come to an end. Is it their new scheduling software? Yesterday I arrived at 6:45am for my 7 o'clock appointment, the waiting area is full to capacity, and one man was already angry because he had a 7 o'clock appointment and when he checked at the kiosk, the machine told him he would have to wait for another two hours. I checked at the kiosk, and got the same message: it also told me I would have to wait and could not be seen until 9:15. This turns out not to be true at all, but still I was asked to leave the waiting area because there was no more room. The clerk said they would text me when I could come in. It was maybe 10 minutes later that they texted me. The rest of my appointment went smoothly, and I have to emphasize that all the staff is behaving professionally and doing all they can for us. But it was not pleasant to be in a crowd of people, at least one of whom was at his boiling point, so I think I'm going to go back to my doctor's in-house lab next time. Oh and one more thing, (sorry, rant alert, if I can't rant to my fellow Yelpers who can I rant to? lol) when you pick your appointment time in the online schedule system, after you have confirmed your appointment, it tells you, "please arrive 15 minutes before your visit." First of all, that's ridiculous because your visit begins when you arrive. You cannot arrive before you arrive! I suppose they actually mean "arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time" but why are they putting the burden on me to remember two different times? I chose my appointment time because that was the time it works with my schedule to arrive. Just let me pick the time you want me to walk through the door, and stick with it! Unfortunately this seems to be common practice in medical facilities. read more

For a 24 hour urine test, they recorded the wrong total volume and sent my doctor incorrect results, that I would have been medicated and treated for, if I hadn't noticed the discrepancy when I looked at the report myself. I sent an email to LabCorp and I'm waiting to hear back how they will correct it. read more

I had a 715 appointment that I had to fast for my blood test so I get there check-in and the receptionist very cold / no personality at all told me I will be seen at 9:15. I explained that I had an appointment and she said sorry. I would not recommend this location. I've had much better service in Cypress and Los Alamitos area. This is my favorite LabCorp I've ever been to. When I'm a walk-in, they always take me within two hours or less, which is fabulous, especially when they're very busy but making appointments is easy. I've never had a problem with availability. But my favorite thing is every single lab tech that works there is so kind so caring, and very patient. they take their time with you and I never feel rushed. Carlos is my absolute favorite. Every time he draws blood there is no pain and no redos which is why I keep coming back to this location. read more

Such a disappointment of a Labcorp. I came in to get my labs done. And they said they were full with appointments. Then I asked how many people are you waiting for to show up. She said they were waiting for 5 people and two of them are already late. I asked her if I could take one of the spots if any of the 5 apts are a no show, and Daylene said it doesn't work like that. It was just simply a no. No care at all to help out a person needing blood work done. And on the website it says walk ins are welcome. Such a bad experience. read more

The check-in process was easy: Scan your barcode on Insurance card and answer your personal information on machine. Once the checkin process was finished, the staff at front desk will tell you which room to go for your blood drawn. You can also see your name and know how many people ahead of you on digital signage. I was told to go to room no. one and the Phlebotomist was professional and friendly. I had a smooth and quick visit and I received my test results back with my doctor's opinion in a week. I consider LapCprp is efficient and definitely will recommend it. read more

Routine lab-work historically (and absolutely) sucks. Like who wants to get blood drawn, ever? And wait in a tiny waiting room where the chairs are too close together for what feels like a billion years? Amazingly enough, this LabCorp was the smoothest, quickest experience I think I have ever had when it comes to this sort of thing. Check-in was super quick and easy, and I was seen within ten minutes of my appointment time. The phlebotomist who saw me was pleasant and efficient, and I was out of there within twenty minutes from arriving. Incredible. Was it a fluke? Perhaps. I was a walk-in patient and although this office was fully booked, under-staffed and I had quite an extensive lab order, the staff was extremely helpful and took me in because it was somewhat of an emergency. Straight OUT ELDERLY ABUSIVE. Friday Jan 23, 2026 9:30 AM I Am reporting the women to the State of California... i brought in my elderly 79 yr old Neighbor ..whom just stopped driving 2 days ago. I am much younger & could provide him personal assistance to register & Check in at the iPad like Digital Kiosk which requires them to figure out how to SCAN FRONT & back CDL & Insurance cards ...he could NOT have managed it on his own at all. Most of the patients are older & Digitally scanning their CDL + front + back of Insurance cards is just too much technology for someone with glaucoma +!Limited vision. . The older ladies staff were so CRUEL + SEVERELY UNHELPFUL & abusive to ALL ELDERLY. Neighbor began begging me to drive him to UCI Medical Campus - City of Orange where they are kind and understanding. He just hands them the Lab slip paperwork from his MD and the KIND Respectful Lab staff types in what they need. They have empathy and understanding that 99 % of the patients are elderly with limited vision & technology experience. + most likely health issues. Elderly do not understand this technology. his vision & hearing extremely impaired. The 2 geriatric female employees = women in their 50-60's ++ were beyond abusive to ALL elderly. It was horrific to experience. It was so abusive and unkind. ZERO assistance offered. Straight out cruel and mean. Those of US sitting in the lobby began leaping up to assist them. BC it was horrific. There is a younger Asian gentleman EMPLOYEE . He was VERY KIND. HE held open doors for the weak if they ended up on his turn for a blood draw and respectfully assisted elderly women to their cars UCI now owns the local medical clinics PLEASE FOR GOSH SAKES EDUCATE THESE 2 how to be respectful and kind. Or ALLOW PATIENTS TO GO QUEST INSTEAD OF THESE HAGS. Takes less time to be helpful than watch a elderly person struggle for 20 mims ...than yelling at these stressed & confused individuals attempting to follow Doctors orders to get a blood test than repeatedly telling them to go somewhere else if they cannot figure it out. Been coming here for years, when John was here just walk in and done in a few minutes, got to hear about his daughter and life in general. Asked him once how he processed everyone by himself, he told me when it got busy he just speeded up and took care of us, got us in and out, took care of "his" customers! Sad to say, John retired a few months back. They now have a staff of folks, the monitor that showed everyone checked in and where everyone was in order, it's now turned off, asked the lady behind the counter, was told it's only for the workers. Been here for over an hour and half, no estimate on when we will get in, full waiting room, folks standing outside. Seems this location has turned into just another draw station to sit and wait. Seal Beach LabCorp: Excellent lab, easily accessible with handicapped parking/large lot, great attentive staff, clean and community style. I've been here twice, as a walk-in. You can also schedule an appointment online- there's an easy to use kiosk for checking in requiring an ID/Drivers License. When I came in last week during the holiday season, I signed in on the kiosk. There was a gentleman that was visibly having difficulties due to some symptomatic dyskinesia, and one of the lab nurses/tech came out to one-on-one help the man personally. He was professional , polite, and very gentle when assisting the man-never admonishing him and being supportive and concerned. After signing in on the kiosk, it said I could leave and wait for my text. I sat down for less than two minutes gathering my things to go out to my car-and I was called before I even left. The phlebotomist was very kind and professional. She was accommodating, asked how I felt and was genuinely engaging. My blood draw was painless and fast, four vials and I was out! My results came via LabCorp portal and I got the info I needed in a jiffy. I highly recommend this Lab. I went to two others in LB, before I remembered this one. I'm so glad it's still there. Scheduled an appointment via Labcorp.com and went based on availability, I scheduled an appointment next morning soonest appointment, only to find out it's in a retirement community when we arrived to the gate and were told they would honor our appointment time at this location. When we arrived to this location, I explained the situation to the lady sitting at the front only to be told they won't honor it and she argued with me saying that when I made the appointment it said it was in a reserved community, as I was showing her my reservation screen shot and all the information I was provided when I scheduled the appointment online. Her attitude was so bad my partner advised we go to another Labcorp. Will not be returning to the location after this ever again. Would not recommend. read more

WORST LAB CORP EVER! When their new location on Delaware opened, it was the best place around.....friendly, efficient, and you didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes. Everyone was SO NICE! But they certainly went downhill fast and the last 3 times failed me miserably so I will never go back. When I arrived at 7:20 am, there were 14 people in the waiting room. Think about this....FOURTEEN PEOPLE AT 7:20AM! Seats were of course filled up with standing room only and out the door! That should have been my first clue that they overbook or should I say "triple book". The receptionists were rude, unprofessional, one can barely speak English, some people struggle with the scanners and they are offered no help. Granted, I was a walk-in which used to work great and be no big deal. Today I walked in, went to the desk, they of course asked me to check in, struggled to find my name in their computer, then asked me to have a seat! They never once told me there was 1 1/2 hour wait, I heard them tell people AFTER me. But I thought "what the heck? I don't have much else to do so I'll just wait because I need this for my doctor appt. After an hour and a half, I went to the counter and politely asked how much longer, they asked my name, birthdate AGAIN, then asked me if I had orders with me. I told them the orders were already in their computer. She struggled to find them. Then guess what they said, "Sorry, but we don't see that you have checked in yet!" I furiously walked out and again, the line reached OUTSIDE (long enough that there was a kind man holding the door open). WORST LAB CORP EVER! read more

Horrible experience, my grandparents went there to get lab work done. My grandpa having stage 4 cancer is in pain, hard time walking, and my grandma accompanies him to his appointment. A man that was bald, Caucasian in other words white. Has continually without checking told them they had no appointment. My grandpa kept pleading saying they had an appointment. The man kept rudely saying "nope, no appintmet" while my grandma begging because this was the only way to get my grandpa his cancer meds all he said was "nope stand outside" "stop coming in" "stand, outside!!!!!" With a horrible tone. Finally the man checked and found that my grandpa did have an appointment, he had not apology whatsoever he thought that these two vulnerable elderly ppl that weren't the color of his skin were wrong and didn't give them any sort of respect. I am going to file a grievance against him and this lapcorp for elderly abuse and neglect. Anyone who has had a problem at this location with this man should do the same. I understand that during this Covid time I did notice that it was busy and tensions are high. I did self check in and went to my car to wait. Before I left I asked about how long (roughly)and the answer I got wasn't warm but- no problem at all. I figured he was busy and I get that. After waiting, I got the text to come in. When I went in, they couldn't find my appointment and tI showed the same employee the confirmation that I had. He advised that I was at the wrong place. That's fine (my fault) but AGAIN, this specific employee was rude and so I had to call it out to him, only for him to say. "I'm not the person went to the wrong place" It was my mistake-yes. However the attitude on top of the comment was the final straw to move me to write. He was probably stressed and busy but the decorum of professional communication in a health setting environment is unsettling. read more
