I came here on the dot of my appointment. There were a lot of people inside so I was worried if it'd take a while to be seen even with my appointment since locations differ. It only took a few minutes to be seen and get my blood drawn which only took one try which was nice. The quality of care was pretty fast and easygoing. The one bathroom inside their Quest Diagnostics is disgustingly dirty though. Only bad side was, it's $3 to get into the parking lot. Fortunately, there's street parking. read more

We took our one year old to get blood work and there were zero seats to sit down and wait. My husband took her back as only one parent was allowed which already is not right. Then the phlebotomist attempted to get blood as my husband is restraining our baby and couldn't get any. So there's my daughter screaming and another attempted and was also not able to get blood. So now my daughter was pricked twice and they proceed to ask if they want to try again which we said no. Never once an apology. We will NEVER come back. Also they had mosquitos in the room and as my husband is having to restrain our daughter to hold her study during the pointless pain, he is getting bitten by mosquitos. So not only are they not efficient and not quality workers, the facility had mosquitos. If a zero start or negative could be given we would . Also if two phlebotomists are allowed in the room then the other parent should be. I have been using Quest Diagnostics for a while now! I recently visited this location a few times and my experience was quick fast service with care and attention to detail. This past time the young lady helped me with a personal issue I was having getting the labs. I was brought in almost immediately but I do make appointments. I never come in as a walk in! I am still waiting for my Total Glutathione levels but the rest have come in! They were great getting them back to me and my last blood lab was with be there by December 3rd. You are so awesome and I will definitely keep coming back when I need blood which is often, unfortunately lm la happy patient, lol! read more

12/09/23 First time at this facility. Just needed some blood work done. My morning was eventful. I parked by the wrong building, so had to walk a block and a half away. Then I couldn't find the entrance to the building. Had to walk back and found it on the other side of building. THEN I had to walk up a flight of stairs. Obviously I'm complaining because I'm sweating and out of shape at the moment. When you walk in, it's a small waiting room with 2 rows of chairs. You check-in via kiosk. They have 2. It requires the QR Code that's sent to you in your appointment confirmation text or email. You also need to scan your ID. Front and back. Same with insurance card. If you don't have it, you can bypass it. It'll be obtained at a later time I guess. You then go into a room with 4 drawing stations.. The nurse did a great job. Total time from check-in took 20 minutes. My experience was painless, fast and easy. read more

Changes observed since my last visit here: They blocked off the receptionist desk and placed an addition kiosk (they have two now) as well as an attendant in the lobby to assist folks with signing in...hey, just like checkout at a supermarket. They also reduced the amount of seating but I'm thinking that's a holdover from COVID. Some folks waited outside but the staff was good about stepping outside the entry and calling out names. I got seen ten minutes before my appointment time and this was the first time I didn't have any brusing from my blood draw, so that was great. Of course after drinking ~50oz. of water before my appointment, I still couldn't give them a urine sample; horse/water/drink?? They also only have ONE restroom so I was constantly getting interrupted, since this location has a lot of patient traffic. However, a lady (thinking she was the office manager because she wasn't wearing the paper scrubs/clinical attire) gave me a cup so I could get a sample at home and drop off. They're internet connection is bad, so when I clicked on the link to check in from the text they sent me, it lead to a blank page, but the staff is aware of that. read more

Scheduled an appointment a day in advance. Got there and no receptionists, checked in at the kiosk, due to my current condition I can't stand for long periods of time so I stepped just outside the front door and waited to be called in. I got there at around 3pm, my appointment was at 3:20. 3:50 comes, everyone else was called in and I had migrated inside cause people left and had places to sit then. After 4 comes around (closing time) one of the people came out after there tests and I helped them with the door, cause they had a wheelchair. As I was helping them the lady at the lab door asked if I was the patient. I reply yes, to which she immediately said "im sorry we cant take you in." Confused I asked "even though I was here on time and waited?" "yea, we can't take you" So I left, frustrated and limping. So it was clear to me that they don't really focus on patient care, or going above and beyond to treat or care for the people that come in. They are more concerned about getting home on time, and will skip you to do so. read more

I came here 8 days ago. Making an appointment on line was easy. This facility is at a good site, easy to find and parking is great, specially on a Saturday and with an appointment. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I dislike needles and get nervous when getting my blood drawn so I tend to look away as they prep and during the process. Helps me stay still. I've never had an issue before. This time, the insertion of the needle hurt pretty bad instantly, and I immediately knew something was off. The phlebotomist apologized right away, which was appreciated but let me tell you, my arm hurt the entire day and I was left with a nasty bruise. This visit showed Quest is a COMPLETE failure for anyone who needs prompt attention or assistance. i was referred by my doctor for a series of fasting tests, one of which had to be done stay at 7:00AM that appointment day (Monday) I had to pick up a specimen container at this location Saturday and asked how to be assured to be seen at the required time as ZERO LOCATIONS in a 20 mile radius showed appointment availability. The technician said one has to take a chance on a walk in appointment. I asked for a manager and was told no manager is at the location (Technicians supervise themselves?) Customer service is unavailable weekends according to the voicemail. I took the earliest available time (9:40AM) in the area with hope I could speak to someone and explain to this situation but walked in at 6:50AM. I was the third person in line. I explained my situation to the tech and showed her the doctors order on my phone. She explained that is not a stat test for Quest and there was nothing she could do but I could check in as a walk in and see if "the system" would take me in. I asked if checking in as walk versis an appointment would get me in earlier. She couldn't answer if it would. I checked in and "the system" found my appointment and locked me in without allowing for walk in. I was still third in the office. One person came behind me without any appointment or documentation and "the system" took her in first, ahead of the three with appointments. The tech came out again to get another patient. I asked her if s manager was available or if something can be done to assure I could get in before the 7:30 deadline. She answered no to both. I am on the phone with customer service and there is a longer than ten minute hold. I attempt to check in as a walk in but "the system" recognized my prior check in and kept the same time. I asked the tech again and she said "you should have made the walk in (a changed version.and took yet another person. It's 7:20 AM so I look for a way to cancel to "reschedule" as a walk in. There is nothing on the self check in that shows how to cancel an appointment. I'm still on hold with customer service. I touch the help screen and see an option for a "stat" test. I chose it and got a number. The same tech comes out at 7:30, calls the number and states that button is for someone to come out and assist with checkin only and doesn't indicate it is for a stat lab. It's 7:35 and I am now outside the test window. I am still holding a cooled specimen that has to be turned in. I check the button that says I have a specimen. The same tech comes out at 7:40, calls the number and I am unable to submit that specimen until my 9:40 "appointment time". I ask for a manager and no one is still available. I finally find a method to cancel the appointment (on a prior email).to try to "walk in" to leave the cooled specimen. The tech now explains the tech is the only one who can cancel it in "the system". Beyond frustrated and still on hold for customer service. I leave. This entire process ruined TWO TESTS. I have to retake both tests and repeat a 24 hour specimen test. I also have to drive thirty miles to my physican's affiliated hospital to retake them. QUEST PROCESS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING IS DEEPLY FLAWED. This place is all about profit without concern for patient needs. Zero stars read more

This place is the worst. I had an appointment, but it turned out my doctor's office hadn't faxed the orders. I called them (not easy, as many people have pointed out, the reception there is horrible, they should provide wi-fi), and the doctor's receptionist said she would fax it immediately. She even stayed on the phone with me to ensure it went through. However, on Quest's end, no one existed with this type of attitude. I did not see one person smile the whole time I was there. There IS no receptionist so good luck asking a question. When I did ask someone to check the fax, they told me it didn't matter if it was there because I was past my appointment time and would have to register again as a walk in. It was literally 5 minutes past the time they had told me. The waiting room was packed, standing room only, so no way I could re-register and make it to work on time. I am a healthcare provider and feel so fortunate to work in a setting where we make accommodations to ensure that everyone is helped and treated with a smile, even if that means flexing our schedule a bit or even staying late. Quest could use some customer service training for their staff. Seriously, go somewhere else. read more

Very confused as to why this location has poor reviews. I've gone a total of 4 times now and have never had a bad experience. Make an appointment, check in, go in, leave. Every time I go I haven't been in for more than 15-20 minutes tops. Staff is friendly and does what they are supposed to do. Assuming some of the reviewers want a red carpet rolled out and the staff to kiss their hand upon entry. I get my results the same week. Depending on the staff member, they do a good job at distracting me while I'm getting my blood drawn as it makes me very uncomfortable. Warning- they will give you an "estimated out of pocket cost" and ask you to put a credit card on final so they'll just charge you before you know the final cost. I declined and requested I see an EOB from my insurance and a finalized bill. (I work in the industry and know the process, this is not the norm). She accepted but said I could only decline two times before I would be denied for further services. Quest- don't make your accounts receivable problem my problem. Besides that, this place is completely unorganized and they're all talking over each other, yelling to the back and trying to handle 3 patients at a time. I came before their lunch hour and the proceeded to see everyone who came in after and everyone went to lunch. Some random girl assured me they still had someone working and would get to me. Meanwhile I waited through their whole lunch. Find a smaller lab - Foundation Laboratories or Physicians Immunotherapy Laboratories and call then to ask if they run the labs your doctor sent you to Quest for. Some of the time they can do the same order and there's no wait and much friendlier people. Quest is just a cash cow and cares nothing about patient care. read more

Yelp is so nice. They give a little disclaimer before this review about companies doing their best during COVID-19. But that isn't what I experienced at Quest. I went for a blood draw and urine sample for insurance purposes. The get two stars for me not waiting and for the phlebotomist not poking around but getting my vein on the first try, with a suggestion from me. The office wasn't very professional while I was there. Most of the people were crowded around concerned with conversation. When my blood draw was finished she said I was good to go. I said, don't I have to pee in a cup? "Oh yeah" was the response. No instruction with the cup were given. I walked out with the cut to the nurse station. Because none said where to put the pee. Oh back in the bathroom that makes sense. The worst part. 7-14 days is what the flier says, should be when I get my results. It has now been 4 days shy of a month. Finally I called. You guessed it. They need new sample. Either they lost it, or took a crap sample. Either way, based on the lack of professionalism at the lab office, this is no surprise. The blood draw room was not very organized. This is by far the best experience I have ever had regarding anything medical in my entire life. I had a 9am appt (and for future reference this is all taking place during COVID-19). I arrive a few minutes before my appointment to check in and there is a line outside. Of course. With everything going on it makes sense. But that was just the line to have temperatures taken. Then I had to get back in line to wait until there were openings in the waiting room. I was in this line for about a minute. No sooner had I taken my cell phone out of my purse, I was called to have my blood drawn. I really wish I got the name of the lady (average height, long wavy/curly dark brown hair) who drew my blood. She was fantastic. I did not even feel it whatsoever and it took maybe 20 seconds. She is really good at drawing blood. This review needs to go to the CEO of Quest laboratories. Kayla was our phlebotomist today. She is phenomenal. My son is 12 years old, non verbal and extremely strong. She was so kind and patient explaining and showing him what we would do step by step. She is an angel. She deserves a raise, especially since she has experience with special needs kids. She did not give up on us today, which saved us from having to go to millers and get sedated. She is a God send. I wish everyone was like Kayla. read more
