Friendly Auto Center's lives up to its name! I scheduled my appointment for an oil change with service writer Faith. She was very easy to deal with Friendly and even when I had to change my original appointment she was very accommodating and helping me find a time that would work for me. They are very busy so it took about 45 minutes to get my oil changed, but it was well worth it. They had a great Lounge to sit in, and the other customers, their regulars, and we had a great conversation. They have a customer for life. read more

We bought a used Hyundai Sonata for our son to drive, and took it into the Hyundai dealer to check it over and address one unresolved recall. While it was there, they came up with a laundry list of over $3K worth of additional repairs the car needed including $2K to replace the valve cover gasket. Took it to Friendly to get a second opinion where they checked it over and came up with 2 issues that should be fixed: the valve cover gasket ($440) and the AC ($140). We had the car there at 8am, and it was back home at 2pm. I will definitely be taking my other cars to Friendly for future needs. read more

I want to say that I was very leery at first, bringing my 2006 car into any garage. However, let me explain. I have a 2006 Chrysler 300 with 208,000 miles, most people would trade, sell or just buy a new one. I love my Chrysler 300 And it ran great. But like most, I thought with the mileage getting up there that things would start to go wrong. As I looked around for a new one, it just didn't seem like what I really wanted to do. So I took my chances and brought it into friendly auto. I talked to Steve which is the owner and he actually listen to me. He said he would get my car up and running so that it would last longer Until I found what I was looking for in a new car. Well I have to say It's running great. I'm glad I spent a little extra money to get the things fixed that I need to get fixed. so lesson learned don't be afraid to go and Get advice, Instead of dishing out the money for a new car. I got a free oil change and multi point inspection in the mail. If I could give zero stars I would. They stole my $80 K&N air filter and replaced it with a cheap Napa air filter, when I've never been to Napa auto parts in my life and never bought any Napa parts. The two air filters are almost identical so I didn't catch it until I got home and saw the Napa barcode on the part. They told me I had a gas leak from the top of my tank and asked me if I wanted to get that fixed, I declined because I've never had a gas leak before and I thought it was weird that it would be leaking at all. When I got home I cleaned off all the gas on the outside of the tank to see if the gas would leak out again. I check a week later and the tank is still clean. So I'm assuming they poured gasoline on my tank to make me pay their stupid price for repairing something that isn't broken. I hope this place goes out of business, I hope nobody goes there for service either. It's a shame I can't just get an oil change and an honest inspection without being robbed and lied to. read more

I tried at home to start my Truck at home and it would turn over but no luck starting. i attempted to replace the fuel filter using a part other than an OEM but caused a leak I couldn't stop when trying to crank the engine. I brought my truck into Friendly Automotive to help me get this vehicle in good working order. Their tech began to go through resolving issues by first replacing the fuel filter with an OEM part. The problem still wasn't resolved so onto the next possible problem. the cost started adding up (fuel tank sender, fuel injection sys , Glow plugs, PCM). Two months elapsed and Steve the owner stepped in and made it his mission to get to the bottom of this trucks' problem. Finally it was found that the reason the PCM was not communicating was a IDM fault. that replaced the truck started "right up". A few days later I hooked up a trailer to my vehicle and traveled from Phoenix to Seattle and the truck performed perfectly. No problem at all through mountain passes and arrived safely in Washington. Although I didn't expect the price tag to be the amount I paid to repair a 1999 Ford F350 I'm pleased that Friendly Automotive was able to get me back on the road.
