My husband and I went there this evening. We were sat at the bar which we were fine with. The bartender (can't remember her name) was so amazing. Customer service was a 10/10 for us. The food did take a little longer than expected, but in all fairness, they were pretty busy this evening. 9/10. We ordered the chipotle wings naked and the little fricker wings naked and both sauces were amazing. My favorite was the chipotle. Wings 10/10. The little fricker sauce tasted like Louisana hot sauce though, so if you like that taste, then you will like the sauce. We also had to try the funnel fries!! 100% would recommend them! They were fresh, crispy and delicious. We tried both the icing and the chocolate sauce and they were both amazing although the chocolate sauce tasted like the hersey's chocolate in the bottle that you use to make chocolate milk. This place was family friendly. The burgers are 'frickin huge, the beers are good and it's a great atmosphere. There is a small gaming area in the back for the kids, and plenty of flat screens for the adults to watch sports on. The beer selection isn't very big though. Not sure what some of these brutal reviews are all about. I love the wings here. I hadn't been back in Toledo for almost a decade and was really craving this. There's an area with games for children and a seating section close by for families to sit, and there is an area by the bar with stools for the adults who want to drink and not be by children. I ordered a draft beer, and it was a generous size. There are a lot of options for how spicy or not spicy you want the wings. The server was attentive and I was never without a drink or felt like I was waiting around for something, which seems to be one of the biggest complaints here. If I had a service problem, this is the type of place where I'd feel completely comfortable getting off my stool and tracking the person down to get their attention and tell them I need something. read more

If you read my review of the Downtown Frickers, than I must tell you that they are not all the same. There is a reason why you might find a wait here and nowhere else. They not only have great junk food we enjoy, but they have a great service. The girls are friendly and not stuck up. They might take time getting to you when there are large crowds, but you learn to get use to it if you want to eat here. It would be great if they hired more people, but I'm sure they'll be pushing the number of people they are allowed to have in the building. They have a nice game room, largest facility I've seen, and monitors for sports everywhere. I have ordered take out from this location before and every time, it's something different! Make sure to check your order completely before leaving. Unfortunately, I was on my lunch break at work and had to get back in time for myself and my co-workers to eat. I ordered pretzel bites with nacho cheese and a frickin chicken pizza with a side of ranch. I did not receive pretzel bites or nacho cheese, but rather pretzel loaves and beer cheese. Not really sharable amongst three people when there's only 2 loaves and the beer cheese was inedible and had spilled all over the box, since the lid wasn't on tight. The first piece of pizza was ok. Very overdone and crispy. The crust is soft any other time I have ordered it. Also, there was no side of ranch, which they charged extra for. My co-worker ate one bite and pulled out a piece of hair! That was the end of lunch for us today. Attempted to call them three times and the phone just continuously rings. Needless to say, I'm still hungry, out of time to run anywhere else, out $15, and will refrain from another visit to this location. read more

My husband and I ordered the 10 piece mild boneless wings for the each of us. When we got it, there were over 20 on each. Yeah some were small but the portion was big. The wings were a little over cooked but the service made up for it. Server was attentive and always around when I needed her. Their beer is not over price and comes in a tall glass. I really wanted to like this place. Really. I read the reviews, was prepared for some of the things people complained about..... But I still couldn't pull it off. We were traveling through town overnight on a Sunday and asked for a table near a TV with our team's game. Good! One waitress came and took a drink order, brought drinks and took our food order. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. After about more than 20 minutes of not even seeing a server, a different server came and said our food should be done soon. Several minutes later we got our appetizers, which were quite good. Then in another 10 minutes or so a runner brought our food (think it was a manager). There were 4 of us. He put food down for 3 people, ran off to grab a water for someone and then asked if we were all set. I guess he thought nothing of the fact that one person was still sitting with no food. I've been a server. At that point don't you ask that person if they weren't having anything? I asked if we had another meal coming. He rushed off to check on it and then get the order in. He did immediately say he wouldn't charge us so I'll give them that. He checked with the server and the story we got was that the order was indeed entered into the system.... they weren't sure what happened. The food was.... not good. Not bad. Just blah. Flavorless chicken, soup that tasted like it was out of a can. Our server never checked back with us. We finished eating, I had all plates neatly stacked at one end of the table and then again we waited..... for over 20 minutes. Until I flagged down that same manager and asked for our check. One thing I DO give credit to our server for.... as a few reviews had stated, there were indeed kids running back and forth through the restaurant like it was a race track. She had just picked up three drinks at the bar and as she was turning around a little kid came flying through and she almost knocked him to the ground. She had a momentary look on her face that could have killed, but she turned back, put those drinks down and turned back to check if he was okay. She gets props for that. So before I really begin let me just say that my Service was perfectly fine, my server was very nice and the food was good as well. HOWEVER when we arrived my family waited about ten minutes (not a problem) and we were then asked if we would be okay sitting in the game room or if we needed a table with a view of a television. We had no preference and were promptly directed to what was surely one of Dante's forgotten rings of hell. The "game room" was a small area filled with arcade games and a solitary empty table. The room was so filled with caffeine pumped over stimulated children that the floor bounced as they virtually stampeded around the room. In roughly 90 seconds we returned to the hostess and told her we would like a different table; we were unaware of what "game room" meant. We were then told that if we turned the table down we would be out at the back of list and there was now a hefty wait. Seriously? needless to say I proceeded to eat dinner virtually balls deep in a chuck-e-cheese ball pit. Probably won't be returning. Chicken was good tho. read more

I have to give Fricker's 5 stars because they have my absolute favorite barbecue sauce that I've ever had!! It's just the regular barbecue sauce, not spicy or anything, but I love its vinegar-y flavor. It's like a blend of traditional Southern sauces which are usually more watery because of the vinegar, and Northern sauces which are ketchup based because this one still has a good consistency. There jumbo wings are fried to perfection! They have amazing crunch and juiciness. Their "boneless" wings are really just chicken tenders, so not that great, but decent I guess. Their burgers are also very good, and I loved adding the barbecue sauce to my burger as well! xD The service is pretty good too. However, the portions of their sides are a bit lacking. They don't justify the price they're asking. But because of their sauce, this place gets 5 stars in my book!! read more

If $1 domestic bottles all day every day wasn't enough to get you through the door, then the great food should be. Even in our group of 12 people we never waited long for either food or drink. I just went back here for the first time in 6-8 years, and it was great. There was a long wait on a Saturday night, so other people must agree. The nachos supreme appetizer was amazing: huge portion, loaded with toppings, and delicious. I also had the chicken wings with "medium" buffalo sauce. They were large and tasted pretty good, although they were a bit greasy and they could have used more sauce on them. The wings are probably better (but smaller and more expensive) at Buffalo Wild Wings. The atmosphere is basically a sports bar with lots of TVs all over the place and plenty of games to play. Laid back and comfortable. Our service was fantastic. The place was packed, and we had six people at our table, but our waitress really kept on top of things AND was very friendly. read more

Stopped in here for a lunch before the Mud Hens game. I think you have to go with the wings so thats what we did. We got the wings split half with sweet chili and half with little fricker sauce, both were very good. The little fricker could have been a little hotter, I will try a spicier one next time. We also had the chicken nacho supreme. They came with a cheese whiz sauce on them, surprisingly the flavor was quite good. First time stopping in this restaurant. We were on the way to Pennsylvania and stopped in for lunch. First, the hostess said grab a seat, so we picked a tabletop...sat for 10 minutes without anyone coming to take care of us...so we moved to the bar where two "bartenders" looked at us...didn't say a word, and made us sit there for 5-7 more minutes before she said something. Now I've worked in bars and restaurants before, an #1 thing you do is address your customer. If you're busy, tell the you'll be right with them. so already we're annoyed. We finally get our drinks and order our food. My "chicken sliders" was a half-dollar size piece of chicken with hot sauce on top of a cold dinner roll. My husbands burger wasn't anything special either. Service was humdrum. And the waitresses were trying to be "cute" in their shorts and t-shirts. However, there is nothing cute about overweight servers wearing short shorts. This place may be fun or cool for the local-yokels...but if you are someone that wants decent food and decent service, this isn't the place to go. read more

My wife and i go there once a week with our 2 children and there are many reasons why we will continue...First we love a sports bar atmosphere and our kids love the game room.. 1$ bottle of Bud Light all day long with Good food and good prices...The service we recieve is top notch and for a good reason...We tip our waitresses 20% plus !!!! Why do we tip so well, if you think about it with the kids eating free and beers at $1, our bill is 10-15 less than just about any other place...So make it a point to stop in every so often and tip big and just get your waitresses name and ask for her next time you visit!!! I normally love coming to this restaurant when I want to drink after work. However after last night I will not come back. I work in customer service and I was extremely disappointed in the service my friends and I received during our time there. And not just with our waitress, but with a few of the members on the team. Our experience there was terrible. The only good thing about the night was the food. And unfortunately that doesn't matter, because in no way shape or form will I want to go back to eat their food when the staff was talking about their customers in front of and loud enough for others to hear. What a disappointment at the Maumee restaurant. Carried out 2 different 20 pc wing orders with fries. Smallest wings I've had in years and virtually no sauce. I even commented to the waitress there wasnt much sauce and she said it was on the bottom of the carryout tray. There was any. Couldnt tell the difference between the 2 different orders, no flavor. The amount of fries were smaller than McDonalds small order. For a $45 total bill, save your money. Never again. read more

Ok...I hope I just caught them on an off day because there is no way a business can stay afloat with the type of service we received. I was traveling through on vacation with a party of 7 adults and 4 children. We were seated on the patio in a matter of 5 minutes and our drink orders were taken. Our drinks came out one or two at a time over a ten minute period. They say "kids eat free" with the purchase of a drink, but there are stipulations behind it that the waitresses couldn't even keep track of or explain without running inside to ask the manager. We also ordered the kids meal with the drinks because we were in a hurry to get back on the road and children take longer to eat. In the end, we got the children's food after everything else and other items either came out wrong or never came out at all. As for a revue of the food, the garlic wings were just ok, but the "kicker" wings were actually pretty good. So in the end, the service was unorganized, slow, and sparse and the worst I've ever seen. The best i can say is that atleast the food was decent and the beer was cold...take it for what it's worth!! read more
