Update: STILL AWESOME. I want to give a quick shout out to my new faves. The smoked wings with boneyard sauce and a side of homemade ranch? PERFECT. You won't want wings any other way after this. Giant pretzel appetizer? Get it. It feeds the whole table, and is the right amount of crispy and chewy. Long Island Iced Tea? YES. Just have a driver because whooooboy. They are yummy and strong as hell. Local Thyme Burger? Super good. (I think? I legit can barely remember because LONG ISLAND ICED TEAS) read more

Awesome service, it gets busy but they do a great job still. I would say they have the best chunks around and the boneyard sauce is awesome. Definitely the best place in Whitehouse. Give it a try if you haven't yet! read more

We enjoyed our first visit with live music and delicious food! My husband ordered the Reuben sandwich I ordered the Smoked house chicken chunks highly recommend very tasty! read more

Fun and friendly spot in downtown. Christmas in July workers in Santa hats! Fabulous live music all Christmas tunes. Fall off the bone ribs. Pulled pork delicious. Huge portions. Cute small town with energetic vibes. read more

Had a chicken sandwich. the chicken was the size of a half dollar. You get better at McDonalds!!!!!!!!!!!

Food is good but not worth the wait. Terrible hosting, wouldn't recommend on the weekends

3-28-2024 Got the large appetizer pretzel and the fish and chips. The pretzel was really good and lasted us for days after. The F&C were ok, nothing special. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and the place had a great community feel. Can't argue with their motto: Eat Local. read more

One meal was very good. One was so messy it was impossible to eat. The third was inedible. They did take it off the bill and substituted with a salad but by that time everyone else was finished eating. The live music made it impossible to visit with family. It's a small venue but the musician still felt the need for speakers. We couldn't hear each other across the table. It's a good place to go if you know sign language. read more

We were hoping for much better service and food. I get locals have to support what's in their town but it was not very good. We have a friend that lives in Whitehouse so we drove out to visit. Bummer. read more

Nice place we stopped in at. The food was great and the service was awesome. The only complaint I would have is. I thought it was a little pricey but what isn't nowadays. Definitely would come back read more

All of their food is phenomenal. My family loves coming here for lunch/dinner. Would recommend coming here.

Well, let's start with the good. The food was all very good, the tomato soup was out of this world. We've been going every Sunday for 4 weeks and enjoyed it. Today Our server acted like she couldn't be bothered to be there... The bartender was rude and dismissive and wouldn't cash our Keno ticket or even a acknowledge that we were there... you know that it's terrible service when two of the other workers (who have waited on us the past 3 weeks) came over and asked if they could help us bc they could see we weren't being helped at all. Very disappointed and we will be taking a break. read more

Seriously the best fish and chips I have ever had. This is a great local restaurant everything looked good. read more

Local Thyme - Fish and chips - Chicken Wings Near Me - Whitehouse, Ohio

One of my favorite places in Ohio. Get the pretzel, trust me on this! Everything I've ever had here has been delicious!

Excellent meal- went twice in a weekend! Had chicken bits and next day the fish basket - both were perfect.

I only ever doordashed from here so I can't comment to much on the establishment as a whole. However the food was less than subpar and extremely disappointing to eat. The outside of the building is very pretty though! read more

Local Thyme is a fine restaurant. I like the salmon salad. It's not my first choice in the area though. It' doesn't have great atmosphere if you're looking to relax. It's usually pretty busy and the waitresses seem to try to do their best to serve their customers. read more

I like local thyme in whitehouse they have good food and nice atmosphere would definitely recommend them will definitely come back

Great food and service. Always on time and delivering high-quality beverages and food.

We are local to the area. We've eaten in the dining area and in the bar area at high tops, depending on our mood. Atmosphere is very casual. They often have live music which is always fun. Wait staff has always been friendly, obviously if it's a busy night it can sometimes be a bit slower. Love the food! The Smoked Boneyard flavor chicken wings with sweet potato fries are awesome and our favorite. Mac and cheese is creamy and delicious. The pretzels are plate size and a big hit with the kids. Fried mozzarella sticks well proportioned. Yes things are a bit pricey but that is the case everywhere nowadays. We will definitely return. read more

Great burgers!! Please please please bring back the old fresh cut fries!! They were great and the new battered ones...... so so. Great onion rings and potato skins I had the big thyme burger. It was good!! read more

One of the best places to eat in the area!! All the food is amazing!! The ranch is simply one of the best I've ever had!! if you're looking for great food and variety give it a try!! I promise you won't be disappointed!! read more

This is a solid local bar and grill. I had a burger that was cooked perfectly and the fries are excellent. They are like the fries you would get at the county fair that just scream for vinegar. Also has a cup of chili that was a perfect blend of sweet and spice for me. My wife had the grilled cheese/pulled pork sandwich that she said was a "great" sandwich. read more

Poor customer service. Will never order from here again. Pricey food for quality. Rude management. Also don't order through Door Dash because they will treat you like you are less important than other customers. Plenty of better options around. read more

This place is wonderful. I am visiting Toledo and this was a recommended place to go near the airport. Every single thing I ate was fabulous! Highly recommend the sweet tea lemonade. The customer service was great too. Everyone went out of their way to make it a great experience. I should add that what really impressed me was how they made an effort to accommodate my disability. I am profoundly deaf and they found a spot where I could hear well, and they made sure my guide dog was hydrated on a hot Toledo day. Thank you! read more

Used to be delicious-- now it's disappointing! My family and I have been coming here for years and recently they have changed their menu. Service is and has always been good, so the low rating is due to the changes in food. I used to love their sweet heat chicken chunks- they were breaded perfectly and the sauce was the perfect consistency and spice level. Today, the chunks were chewy and bland, and the sauce was watery and unappealing. Similarly, I went here with a friend the other day and we ordered the mac and cheese (which we used to LOVE here) and now it tastes like it is straight out of a box. We were also sad to see they removed charcuterie and pizza from the menu. Appetizers still seem the same quality. Overall i'm sad to say we will be going elsewhere. Really didn't want to give up on this place because we've been going here forever and it's a great local spot. Hoping they change the menu/recipes back to their original quality. read more

They had a delicious charcuterie board a few years ago, and delicious bloody Mary's. I went again and was bummed to discover they no longer had the board. We ordered 3 appetizers instead : large pretzel, fish dip, cheesy bread and marinara sauce - and they were all sub par. It reminded me of slightly elevated concession stand food. The cheese dips for the pretzel were cold, fish dip tasted like it was out of a can and the cheesy bread and marinara sauce was almost inedible. The staff is awesome and the drinks are good. I don't know that we will be back. read more

Service was spot on, we went with friends and we were able to relax and eat and have drinks with no pressure. Food was excellent, we are adding this to a definite return trip read more

Overpriced $15.00 for a burger and fries $16.49 for a pretzel app? Come on man! Outrageous read more

So disappointed. Ordered 2 Togo fish sandwiches We get back to the house and notice there is no tarter sauce. We are over 10 minutes from the restaurant. So it takes time to get back home. I call to get a new sandwich. Only one. Cause my friend doesn't like tarter sauce. So he ate his. I only wanted one new sandwich. He wanted to give me just Tarter sauce for my cold fish sandwich. Never mind. Skip P..S We left a great tip. To the girl that said she forgot the tarter Sauce. read more

This is a local favorite. We've always had friendly and fast service here. I won't even ding them for playing country music every now and then If you're looking for something different, try the giant pretzel. It comes with 4 dipping sauces. We usually split between 2 or 3 people. It's huge! We felt very safe dining here during COVID. read more

Local Thyme - Huge pretzels! - Chicken Wings Near Me - Whitehouse, Ohio

The food is good. Like all restaurants prices have gone up a lot after Covid. What is really the kicker is they charge $4.25 for soft drinks. That is in a small glass. Only 1 refill and .25 after that read more

Local Thyme - Had water because of high price for soda - Chicken Wings Near Me - Whitehouse, Ohio

If I could give this place a higher rating review I would! I was out of town on a girls trip and we decided to try here for food and it was the best decision we ever made. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. The waitress was very friendly and understanding of any questions we had regarding the trip. read more

The place is good, available for DoorDash, kinda overpriced. 15$ for a regular sized hamburger? Umm 25$ for the cheapest cut of salmon? Uhhhhh Salmon came by itself grilled which was scrumptious and juicy, I suspected it was undercooked in the middle but personally didn't mind but I should warn about that. Like said it was the worst cut of salmon, the tail/bottom cut for 25$ for JUST the fish. Hamburger was delicious had a fiery taste and was juicy, size was about a big Mac size for lack of better comparison. 15$ for burger alone is just the only downside. Id eat here if I'm starving and craving deliciousness but it can get expensive. read more

Really good food at a friendly small town restaurant. Unique sandwiches, great drinks, attentive staff and reasonableable prices. Local musicians contribute to a really nice dining experience. Can sometimes be found to be very busy! Get there early. read more

We came from Boulder, Colorado to visit friends and met up at Local Thyme. This is by far the best place to experience the unique flavors that the owner, Skip Walker has created over time. Countless hours of experimenting with cherry wood smoked corned beef, pork, wings resulting in memorable meals. Mac and cheese to die for! Family and friends will love the variety of food and drinks served. Humble, non-pretentious atmosphere is a calming and welcome feeling when you enter, so when the food comes it blows you away! Pricing is in line, but portions are way more than any other spot I've been to in Ohio. Can't find this in Colorado, so I will just have to keep coming back! read more

The service was friendly and anticipated our needs, the food was great and the atmosphere was cozy. The restaurant has been here since Fall 2013 and is in town. This was our first time. I had a hamburger and fries. It was prepared as requested and delicious. The fries were fair style and great. She also asked vinegar. We had a buffalo dip appetizer that was fabulous. They take care in preparing and delivering food. Some people I was with got the special which was a chicken parmesan sandwich and it was great. One got a chicken sandwich and was also great. The menu is primarily sandwiches and some standard American fair. They sell beer and drinks as well. The only potential improvement is more lighting. Definitely worth a try! Update 9/25/15 After eating here multiple times found some dishes to be less delicious than the first meal and the low lighting became annoying, but its still a good place to eat. read more

Second visit there. First visit I got the Big Thyme burger. It was amazing; juicy, well cooked and delicious. Second visit just as good. I had the Reuben and my hubby had the Big Thyme burger. Both of us were pleased with our meal. Will definitely be back. Best restaurant in Whitehouse! read more

Nothing to write home about. I guess pretty good for the area. Everyone loves the pretzel
