This was a great "find" in Findlay, on our travels through Ohio as we headed South. Tag was correct when he stated all the entrees were delicious and hard to make recommendations. This Irish Pub has valid Irish food and drink! My man had shepherd pie and a blacksmith (Guinness over Smithwick). Loved it! My Christmas Carbonara was delish and the serving was too big to finish! Different from your typical nachos - these have pub style potato chips topped with beer cheese, soft potatoes, and Shepard's pie. We also ordered the fish and chips & guiness chicken. I loved the Guiness chicken and would definitely recommend. My husband had the fish and chips which we both enjoyed - he ordered the three piece and thought it was a lot of food. On a work trip, our group decided to try out this Irish pub. This is located in an area that you will need to find street parking, but it wasn't too difficult. We walked in and were greeted quickly and seated. Our waitress Aubree had great recommendations and was kind. The menu is large enough to have options but not so large it's hard to decide what you want. They have a lot of great beer and cocktail options to go with your meal. I went with the fish and chips as well and a james Joyce cocktail. The fish was perfectly breaded and nice and crispy. I struggled to stop eating the fries even though I was getting full. Everything was flavorful. This would be a great place to catch a game And enjoy some libations. I'd be happy to go back and try more food! read more

This place is just fun. It's an Irish pub, so you know the drill: Lots of drinks, lots of unhealthy and delicious food. They do make a decent caesar salad though, so it's not like there isn't something for everyone. How about a caesar salad with chicken, and one of those giant soft pretzels? And a Guinness. Only down side is they only have modern beers, nothing in a cask, so your options, while decent, aren't anything you couldn't find anywhere else. They had live music when we were there, which was fun, and the service was great even though they were very busy. Logan's Irish Pub quickly became a classic Findlay restaurant and it remains so. It doesn't matter who you take or what you order, everyone is happy and all the food is delicious. My go-to order is the Reuben sandwich, seafood chowder or loaded waffle fries. Last weekend, I tried their cod po' boy with Cajun fries (monthly special) and it was fantastic! It's a Tuesday evening at 6p. I've missed happy hour by 30min, which is fine but feels early for HH to end?? I'll make it next time. It's quiet with maybe 60-70% of the downstairs tables seated. Clientele is almost entirely grey haired (or bald). At the 50% seated bar are older working professionals with drinks and laptops/tablets, not yet the chatty, lively, flirty crowd I once always found at Irish pubs. This one has a ceiling decked out in footie jerseys and banners. Come here for your Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea games, but there are more than a few tables with no views of a TV (which all face towards the bar, which has very little seating). There is no beer menu delivered to the table (in the Big Book are whiskeys, wines, and cocktails) so I did ask about NAs, and they had two Athletic Brewing options and Guinness 0.0. This is a solid selection for the middle of Ohio, where I'm just as likely to find nothing besides Coke. The food menu is fun and inspiring, which is hard to find in Findlay for this global city foodie. I'm excited to return and try more. For now I went with the Cape Cod Reuben (a Reuben with cod rather than beef, creative!). Their own website lists prices that are quite different from the physical menu, so expect to pay more than what you'll find online. Cape Cod Reuben, for example, is listed at $15 on the site and $18 on the menu today. I believe the regular Reuben was $16 rather than the listed $15. The food itself was BLAND. No flavor at all in the tartar sauce, toasted rye and fish batter. Maybe they cut back salt for health reasons but this was too much cutting back. I could taste the beer fine so I know it wasn't my palate. I'm a woman with a barber cut and while I got some leery Looks from the (mostly 60+) clientele, the staff were friendly and pleasant and efficient. Table touches were well timed and not rushed. To go container for dessert is a folded cardboard instead of styrofoam, thank goodness. This is one of the only businesses in Findlay I've had an eco friendly takeout container (though several have at least been recyclable plastics). read more

So, I had plans to meet up with another fellow yelper and this was the halfway point for both of us to enjoy a nice lunch together before the weather gets bad, and it was equally about 2 hours drive for both of us. I've never truly been to Findlay, just passed through, so it was nice to check the city and this restaurant out. Walking in, the place was very modern and nicely decorated. Our host was dressed in a kilt which I loved, and we got seated within just a few minutes. The menu has a bunch of great options to choose from, and I went with the Boxity dinner. This is a salad, potato pancakes, and some green beans. Mike G got the roasted chicken, and we tried each others dishes which we both enjoyed. My dinner came with some wonderful dipping sauce and it really accentuated my potato pancakes. (I normally eat them with sour cream, but I decided to live on the edge and try something different this time. *GASP*) Our server for the most part was on point and did a great job of taking care of us. We were there for a while, so she didn't make us feel rushed at all, which we both loved. Overall this place is not to far off the expressway and a good place to eat if your traveling compared to chains that might be more obvious from the expressway. I think it's about a mile and a half off of I-75, so it's not to far into town at all. I will gladly return here in the future, and thank you Logans for making our time together even more fabulous. So why only 4 stars instead of 5? The place prefers cash and if you do choose to run your card it's an extra $1.75 (or 3.5%) service fee to do so. In this day and age, I'm surprised because most everyone pays with a card versus cash. Plus, it's easy to spend $15 to $20 here for food and drinks, so it's not like we're charging $2 or something where the credit card company might include a service fee for being a charge under $10. I mean, I get the business aspect of it, but make sure to bring cash! read more

We were meeting my friend's family at a half way point which turned out to be Findlay. Logans menu looked extensive and contained a number of non-meat items so that's where we decided to rendezvous. What a good choice. It's right on the main street. Parking was easy. The specials (which last all month) were really enticing but I had my mind set on the fried baloney sandwich which turned out to be great. Same with both the fish and chips and the turkey bacon sandwich. The service was good, I loved the coffee tray with all the stuff on it. The front room has a bar and a dozen tables but toward the back there is a fireplace and a number of booths. It seemed to be very popular, we got in early but it filled up fast. Oh wow! In town from Chicago and this place is excellent. Our server was Tad - great guy and had advice on different whiskies we should try. The fish and chips were soooo good and my husband had Shepards Pie - I was a little jealous after I tasted a bite. Then we got bread pudding - fresh, fluffy, sweet and delicious. With the whole pandemic going certain food places haven't been spot on but this place won of my heart. My cousin and I decided to link up Midway between where we're staying and after our meetup we decided to go for dinner. Of course Yelp found us a close local spot but before we called and a pleasant coworker informed us they were open. Upon entering we were greeted and come to find out our server was the person who answered the phone She was super attentive and provided us with suggestions. The food was amazing on my end - my cousin gave her food a 4 out of 5 rating but the service was GREAT. Everything was spaced out but honestly I think they were just previously set up like that. We came in after my nieces dance recital down the street. We were a large group and they found space for us promptly. The service was extremely friendly. Brie did an awesome job taking care of us. She was tending bar and serving our table and was just wonderful. Everyone in our party of 9 enjoyed their food. We had fish and chips, cheesesteaks, soup and grilled cheese, salads, fried pickles and more. It was all delicious. My dad is notoriously picky at restaurants and even he had nothing but good things to say. It was a perfect, family friendly and warm environment to have dinner in.
