Grilled Chicken Southwest wrap (front), Ali's Burger (back) & Hummus App. On the side

The food was good, nothing extraordinary but would definitely return for a reliable good meal! Our server was very attentive, and the ambiance was enjoyable (we went around 4:30 so a little early for dinner time). Decor was really cool and just a fun and stylish experience.

My friends band was playing on 3/19. This venue is a pretty nice size. The bartenders were super quick and friendly. I got the chicken bacon ranch flat bread which was phenomenal. I was told they make the flat bread in house and you can definitely tell. I definitely want to come back at some point and try the Buffalo chicken dip.

Interesting place where you can grab lunch and dinner but also come back later where upstairs they have pool tables, shuffleboard and a band with a dance floor. The drink prices are cheap and the bartenders are super friendly.

Best place to hangout in Findlay. 30 craft beers on tap, nice selection of scotch, and great tasting mexican cuisine by the same chef as Revolver (Michael Bulkowski). Ambiance is perfect as well. Bonus that there's a bowling alley upstairs! Double bonus they have practically every sports channel available. I can watch my Vancouver Canucks in Ohio!

My friend and I stopped here on Sunday after a craft fair at the fairgrounds down the road. When in Findlay, there's not much to do, or many places to eat so we went here. My friend has been with her family numerous times and told me how cute it was. We walked in and opened the lower-level door to find the tvs on, not a soul to be seen, and out-door signs pulled in. I assumed they were closed so we headed up stairs. Upstairs is a small bowling alley and a bar with a variety of seats. Not nearly as cute as the lower level with the garage doors that open to the street. The waitress walked by and I had to verbally accost her to ask if the lower level was closed and if they were open for business. She, of course, looked at me and my friend like we had horns growing out of our heads and answered the upstairs was open. We sat down and she slowly made her way to serve us. Bloody-Mary's were watery and uninspired. For being a "micro brew" they didn't have any on tap. The menu was typical bar food. I ordered a burger on the recommendation of my friend who said they were good. What arrived was a greasy meat pie on a bun with some greasy fries with rosemary on top. I wasn't impressed, to say the least. Service was sub-par and along with the other reviews, I felt the uniforms were dumb. The names of the burgers have changed (per my friend) and not nearly as clever-sounding as the old ones. Food was an attempt at something greater than it was and I left feeling like I should have skipped the entire meal. If you're in town and stuck with no other solutions, I might suggest going hungry, but if not, attempt this place at your own risk.

It just keeps going and going and going...

My friends and I stopped here while visiting from out of town and we ended up having a really good time. I didn't really check out the downstairs bar or the cigar room, but I do know that they exist. The upstairs was the more intriguing area to our group, as it used to be an old bowling alley. While the lanes are closed, the pinsetters are still in place to add some aesthetic value to the atmosphere. There is a large bar, to the left of which is a lounge area with pool and shuffleboard tables to entertain. To the right was another lounge area where on this particular night an art show was being held along with some live music performances. All in all, I was pretty impressed with the variety of entertainment available, even if bowling wasn't one of them. As for the drink selection, it wasn't too bad either. Not a wide variety of craft beers, but enough to satisfy any casual drinker for an hour or two. It was also reasonably priced at about $3-$4 for a pint. It was an enjoyable experience without a doubt and I would certainly not be opposed to visiting again on my next trip to Findlay.

Exceptional burger, great presentation.

While stuck in Findlay, OH for a few days on business, my expectations were not too high with regards to dining choices. My hotel is surrounded by standard chains such as Texas Roadhouse and Outback. I regret not finding this place earlier during my visit. Beer list and food were both outstanding. And I don't just mean for Findlay, OH. I'm from Columbus, and am an absolute beer snob, so I didn't expect to find much in Findlay. Most places around here consider Yuengling to be their "craft beer". The beer list at Alexandria's was as good as any bar I frequent in Columbus. While there, I had a Stone Grapefruit Slam IPA, New Belgium Yuzu (hard to find), and a Rivertown Vanilla Porter for dessert. Their beer menu consisted of 40+ beers on tap, ranging from Stone to New Belgium, Oskar Blues, Dogfish Head, Heavy Seas, Green Flash, and more. Truly a diverse list of drafts. I would have been happy with the beer alone, but I was hungry as well. The food menu is minimal, and that's not a bad thing. One sheet alone, with a handful of appetizers, sandwiches, and flatbread pizzas. I opted for the double cheeseburger, which did not disappoint. As much of a beer snob as I am, I'm every bit a burger snob. This burger ranked well above what I typically find during my travels around the country. Cheesy and full of flavor. The fries were exceptional as well, and I loved their presentation in a glass with spicy ketchup in the bottom. One last thing worth noting is the place itself. It's small. Like, really small. I'm guessing it seats maybe 40 people in the main area, although the bartender did tell me they have a larger space in the back for overflow. None of this is a bad thing. It's cozy. It has brick walls, copper tile ceilings, a chandelier, and glass garage doors that open in warmer months. Apart from tables and a bar, there are also large, overstuffed leather chairs for lounging in. A few TVs for sports as well. Bottom line, if I lived closer, this would be my go-to hangout. Exceptional beer selection, and above average gastropub-inspired food menu. Will not hesitate coming back here if ever in the area again.

The Amelia made by V!! THE BEST.

Terrible service. Got a drink order. Had to ask for food menu. Never came back to take food order. So much for patronizing a local business.

Best service in town, especially downstairs. :) 36 beers on tap and the pulled pork hush puppies cannot be beat.

Stellar breakfast on a random Friday am. When they say…read moreWAIT! At the hostess stand they mean it- they will be out to grab you as soon as they clean up other tables- most likely for you. It's open, there is a bar to your right as you enter and lots of seating to your right and front. Can eat at bar. We sat, mimosas and bloodies available. Or for that matter- whatever you can think of. They have scotch eggs swimming in a bowl of gravy... yes gravy... and it was delicious. Definitely a Mexican "flair" with lots of black beans, sauces, etc. I stuck with a Belt sandwich - nice and crispy bread with bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato. Friendly service and lots of value! Glad we found this spot since we are headed to Ohio a few times a year.

We did not have a good experience this time. Our bartender Shanna was less than enthusiastic about serving us. She had an attitude & was yawning Alot! We ordered margaritas, which were good as always. Then we ordered our dinner. i ordered the perch dinner W fries & coleslaw. The perch was good, the fries were way overdone & coleslaw bland. My friend ordered prime rib medium rare. The rib was served Medium to Medium well. Shanna took it away & brought a Médium rare one, which was much better. I almost forgot about the Horrible house salads she served us. She returned them & brought us the Cole slaw & Augratin potatoes. The mistakes were corrected, but totally changed our view of the Dark Horse. I hope improvements will be made!

Ok. I don't usually eat at road houses. It's a business trip, I need convenient and adequate…read more.. fine. I ordered takeout from Applebees which is essentially on my hotel parking lot. I ordered chicken tenders with fries and broccoli. The broccoli was as expected - microwaved from a freezer bag, no fresh veggies here. Fine. There was only half a cup of broccoli, maybe. I got 6 waffle fries for $5. Six. Fries. And they were all stuck to each other in pairs. Do effectively 3 double-stack fries. For $5. If it was my own money I would have gone raging back down the stairs, across the parking lot and straight to the manager. Chicken tenders were also fine, but nothing at all to write home about. They were on the dry side and were mostly breading... true to trend, not a lot of food for the considerable dollars, I was able to walk in, go to the pick up area and leave without checking out with anyone. So there's a possibility of making a mistake and taking the wrong bag, or stealing something you like better (contents of the bag are on the ticket stapled to the outside). That means there's also a chance your bag won't be there when you go in, but you may be better off - and you might get more food for the cost - eating in the restaurant.

The next on ordered was salmon with potatoes and steak with potatoes, the appetizer was the artichokes dip with chips. Waited over a half hour for the appetizers, then waited over another half hour for our food. The plate was hot BUT the food was cold. Talked the manager and he told us he was in training and there was a shift change, how is this OUR problem? All he done was take $20 off our bill, the two salmons were a upgrade of $5 each and steak was $5.50 upgrade. What a joke to take off the bill with cold food. Bottom line is he had too many excuses on why it was so slow at getting our food and care less about our cold food.
