This place is like BWW and roosters went to a JD Vance rally and had an illegitimate immigrant child they left with his maw maw in Findlay. The service is nice, the food is not at all. They are a poor rip off of the roosters chain in Columbus. The lunch wrap was minced into more a chicken dust than chunk. I left half of my order there when I hadn't eaten all day so that says a lot. The atmosphere is the typical sports bar/chicken wing joint you'd expect near any campus location. If this is the standard for the chain we're not likely to try the other spots at all. read more

This place has somehow expanded in the last 25 years. No where in the same league as Hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings. Here are my issues with Frickers: * The frying oil they use always tastes rancid * After 25 years unimpressive sauce selection, i.e. no Cajun. * They won't split sauces so if you order 10 wings you can have 5 one sauce and 5 another. * Unimpressive draft beer selection. Not nearly enough local options. * Their strategy seems to be for the most part put locations in smaller markets where there is limited competition. read more

The resemblance to Rooster's Restaurants is too much to be a coincidence. I don't know what the relationship is between the 2 entities, but the food was all good and the service was good. As chester always says, " live laugh love." Came to this facility in hopes to get some good ole wings, and a few beers. I was greeted by some lovely ladies who had a questionable scent, but overall pleasant. Now the servers were amazing but the beer was horrendous, for some reason my beer had ice in it??? I also found a random piece of pepper that resembled an ant and almost made me soil my knickers. The wings were delicious though, only bad thing about them was that i gained a few pounds from how many i ordered. I am from Las Vegas and I came here tonight. At the door I was Greeted by a lady we waited 30 minutes for a table. We asked if we could get a high top table and a guy comes to the front rocking back-and-forth looking like he was on drugs saying that we cannot sit in a section and a name "Sam Austin". I explained I was from Vegas and this was my first time here.. I asked for a manager when I sat down I was greeted by another half whit who did not even care or look into what I was telling him. Horrible experience at the findlay location. I tried to cancel an online order 3 hours ahead of pickup and the employee answering the phone had no idea how. I then got a call that my order was done 35 minutes before it was supposed to be. And when I went to the pickup window they just stared at me. And when they handed me my food they again stared at me. Nothing but average, and that's a fact. If you're in to girls in tight pants, and soggy fried food, this is the place for you. The joint is totally packed on the weekends, and for that matter, any big sports event. I'll hand it to them, their marketing works for sports events, but their food falls flat. I'll be the first to admit that I'm typically harder on wing restaurants, only because there are 3 on every block. Deep fried food is on the bottom rung for me, only because it's so easy to prepare. Any schmoe can batter a wing and dip it in oil, and that takes hardly any technique or finesse. The food at this location is your typical wing and fries combo. Nothing special about the sauces, or the rest of the food. Typical drink selection, and keno. If I had to pick a place like this to eat in the Findlay area, I would say that BDUBS has them beat. read more

As normal tourists, we stopped here just because the name on our road trip. The food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't all that great, either. I ordered the chicken nachos and they had a sweet BBQ sauce drizzled on top that didn't taste great with the Mexican spice of the meat. Holy Fricker Sh!t!! I have never expected a delicious meal and been so disappointed. Their menu explicitly says World Famous Wings. Yet it doesn't tell you why the are famous. They are famous for being horrendous. They wings are just fried bread, the sauce sucks, MiLd is just butter... BBQ was horrible. But hey atleast they had TV's. I have had very good wings at several other well known restaurants, but Fricker's stands out. The difference is the deep fried crispy skin. Unlike other chicken places, the sauce doesn't appear to be poured on as an afterthought but marinated into the wings. Of course like other restaurants there is a variety of sauce choices. The garlic (my personal favourite) is awesome, not too overpowering but just right. The menu offers several other items besides wings - salads, appetizers and entrees. Prices are reasonable and portions are good. The atmosphere is pretty standard, classic rock playing and knickknacks throughout. This is a sports bar and actually it is a very nice size sports bar. The service has been consistently friendly and fast. All my visits have been during lunch time. The only issue I've had is the restaurant entrance. as soon as you enter....BAM, you're right at the bar and what I think is the hostess station. The times I've been there, there is never a sign that tells you to seat yourself or wait to be seated. You just stand and hope someone notices you. Maybe the fact that I was the only female in there was a wee bit unnerving. Other than that, these wings ranked #1 as far as I'm concerned and I really wish there was a Fricker's in Columbus, Ohio! I ate at a different Fricker's awhile ago and had a decent burger, but everything at the Findlay one was a disappointment. We started with nachos and salsa, and it was the quality one would get from a little league concession stand. After about a 45 minute wait, our food came out. Well, most of our food. The waitress said that my shrimp was undercooked and she had sent it back, but it would be out shortly. I occupied myself eating the too-greasy green beans/boiled bacon side and watching my companions complain about the lack of spice on their wings. Eventually my shrimp did arrive. I guess the cook didn't want anymore complaints about them being underdone, because they were almost black and sitting in a pool of oil. The waitress was a little apologetic ("at least they look better than they did before!") but proceeded to avoid our table for the rest of our stay. The shrimp was so overcooked that I could not pierce them with my fork at first. When the waitress did come back and surveyed the table full of plates with three-quarters of their food still on them, she didn't seemed bothered or surprised. We didn't complain because by this time we were running late for our movie, but it was a lot of money for barely-edible and not at all enjoyable food. read more

This place strikes me as a loud or take off of Hooters. They do a big business, but I went there on a recommendation from a friend. Was not impressed. Very loud, service was friendly and attractive, but the food came out slow and not real hot. Had the wings, as that looks like their big push. Got the medium wings, didn't look like much sauce and there wasn't. Hate to say it, but the hot wings at Walmart were better with more sauce. Average size size wings, with not a lot of taste. Lots of TVs going with all the sporting events. Funny part, walking thru, everyone is playing on their phone. Probably because of the free wifi. If you want loud, lots of TVs and bar food. Wings Wings Wings! This place has excellent wings and great service to go with it which makes an excellent combo. I stop here after work sometimes usually on Tuesday for the wing deal. My sauce of choice is Killer/BBQ if you like a little heat followed by the sweet tang of their BBQ you will be in heaven. Personally I like to get my wings with sauce on the side so they stay nice and crispy. I literally waited for 5 minutes and they came up to me saying the cook made a mistake and they gave me my wings for half off (not necessary but I'll take it!).You never have to wait long for an ice cold beer here either. Have to start by saying I love Frickers. However my wife and I placed a carry out order and we received our food on time. We ordered chicken chunks and cheddar balls. The chicken chunks were okay but the cheddar balls were charred chunks of fried cheese. Not only were they burnt, they had also melted through the Styrofoam container. The lack of quality for this order is very dissapointing. So make sure to check your carry out orders! read more

This is my first bad review that I ever posted on Yelp. Even though I love frickers but this place is not female oriented. They have all females at the bar and they do not wait on me but they do wait on my husband. I had to pay the hostess to have the waitress at the bar wait on me. The manager at the bar has dirty clothes on that does not fit him and he is dirty himself. If you look in their kitchen it is a mess. The waitresses are good they work their butts off because the manager just stands around and there is no one to help them. And then I went to cash in our keno and I was not allowed to so I have to wait for my husband to do it. And that was when I waited for the two female bartenders that were having a time out behind the bar chatting and kept looking at me and did not want to wait on me. The bottom line is if your male you can come here and you'll enjoy it if your female bring your man with you. read more

We waited for 10 minutes for someone to show up to the game room next to 2 pig sty tables that hadn't been cleaned and were not cleaned up for at least a half hour after we got there. Bleh. Granted, our waitress was super awesome so I will give her mega props for that. She had just gotten there to start her shift. However, after we left, I started having awful stomach cramps and now I'm in the middle of a full blown stomach flu experience. Sorry Frickers but I will not be eating here again. read more

Great sports bar. During the day you can take the family here, large dining area with lots of TV's on the wall to enjoy the games. At night the clientele can obviously change some. Food is absolutely awesome! Love their chicken chunks and wings and most of their appetizers. Decent selection of beer to choose from as well. Never had a single problem with staff, always very nice and curteous. Service can sometimes be slower when they get slammed, but not to the point where it's not understandable. read more
