What a cool vibe this former gas station puts off. Great people, good atmosphere. But even more…read moreimportantly is the insanely good food that comes out of it. Let's start with the pancake balls. The signature dish is absolutely out of this world. You can get them filled with Nutella, dulce de leche or Apple/Pumpkin butter. These little morsels of goodness are worth the trip alone. We also had the Pueblo BLT Sammy with the sweet and spicy bacon (that's right this is a thing that must be tried to be believed). This sandwich was so good and don't sleep on the homemade citrus aioli - outstanding. Our table also had the hens in a basket. Eggs cooked perfectly and the bread had a sweetness to it that made it just right. OUTSTANDING FOOD! And we will be back

I have never had okonomiyake but now I have gotta try making it at home. White and purple potatoes in the okonomiyake flour with corn, cabbage and topped with a perfectly over-medium egg and delicious piri-piri and citrus aioli (with a side of vegetarian sausage patties) and hibiscus tea! Exactly what I was in the mood for and perfectly cooked. The hot vanilla tea was good also- Its a bit noisy inside but I'd like to try more food.

They had fresh flowers on each table, which was such a nice touch. As soon as we sat down, we were served crispy pinwheels and hot sauce. The chimichanga was on specials and it was beautifully presented, almost reminding me of a giant dumpling! You can choose from a variety of different options for protein, so I chose steak. It had a creamy sauce surrounding it, and also came with salad and rice. The rice was flavorful and the salad had some guac on it, so it was creamy and good. The Al pastor torta was more like a flat bread/ pita sandwich, and was filled with diced Al pastor, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. We ordered a side of grilled onions and peppers, which were spicy and went well with the torta. We ordered jalapeños but we were served Serranos, which were even spicier! The server was really welcoming and efficient. You can pay the bill as you walk out, and credit cards incur a fee. Tips are also separate and you can give it directly to the server! They also had some desserts on display but we were too full to indulge this time.

My only suggestion would be to cook the noodles a bit less so they have some heft in the thick sauce. Their biscuits are delicious especially with butter and honey. And Jenna was thoughtful in bringing them before our meal was ready. This location still has their covid shields between tables which is great. They could use a good cleaning though. I would definitely return.

We were seated right away with a choice of a table or booth. We noticed they now serve appetizers. For lunch I picked the hand breaded chicken tenders. I selected the maple honey sauce to go with it. It came with coleslaw and banana bread. Which turns out to be my favorite. Shhh...I think she gave me two slices. Sooo good!! But it's a very clean restaurant and nicely decorated. They are attentive and make sure you have what you need. I'm very glad we decided to stop here. I would recommend checking out this Bob Evan's restaurant. It's feels like home away from home.
