My wife got the Steak Fajitas. which was also excellent. Wonderful environment to eat in, classy. Service was top notch. Best Mexican food in town by far.

Had a yummy dinner when we stopped by the Señor Piquin in Springfield, Ohio! The restaurant itself…read morewas in a brick building and had lots of wooden tables inside. They had fresh flowers on each table, which was such a nice touch. As soon as we sat down, we were served crispy pinwheels and hot sauce. The chimichanga was on specials and it was beautifully presented, almost reminding me of a giant dumpling! You can choose from a variety of different options for protein, so I chose steak. It had a creamy sauce surrounding it, and also came with salad and rice. The rice was flavorful and the salad had some guac on it, so it was creamy and good. The Al pastor torta was more like a flat bread/ pita sandwich, and was filled with diced Al pastor, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. We ordered a side of grilled onions and peppers, which were spicy and went well with the torta. We ordered jalapeños but we were served Serranos, which were even spicier! The server was really welcoming and efficient. You can pay the bill as you walk out, and credit cards incur a fee. Tips are also separate and you can give it directly to the server! They also had some desserts on display but we were too full to indulge this time.

I don't know how I've missed this place for so long. Just trying them out today and I can say I was…read moreimpressed by flavor. Stopped for lunch and ordered the BBQ Split and the Burnt Ends. They offer so many delicious sauces; my favorite was the coffee and the white. Our server was so friendly and guided us through the menu. The BBQ Solit is meant to be shared: a full grilled andouille sausage, split and served in a bed of corkscrew Mac n cheese, topped with baked beans, pulled pork, brisket, coleslaw, tomatoes and sauced with BBQ of your choice. The burnt ends were nicely cooked and soft yet well done. The smells are wonderful. I will be back to try more off the menu.

We've been here a total of two times - 1 time for carryout 1-2 yrs ago and today for dine-in. I…read moredon't remember much about our carryout experience, but I can say with confidence we won't be back after our dine-in experience today. The food was fine. We ordered fried pickles for our appetizer and that came out within 10-15 min of us being seated. They were hot, delicious and the sauce they came with was pretty tangy and tasty. No complaints. We placed our meal order at the same time as the appetizer, but waited 20-30 min for our food to come out. We ordered Cuban and BBQ Chicken sandwiches. Our waitress came by once during that wait and told us our food would be out shortly but never gave a reason for the delay. I was irritated when the couple behind us - who were seated well after us - received their meals 10-15 min before ours came out. Our waitress was very chummy, attentive and friendly with them and barely checked in with us. Definitely didn't receive the same service. Unfortunately her tip reflected that. Our food was good. BBQ chicken sandwich was good. Needed more sauce but I asked for a side. Cuban was fine. Needed a sauce too but I used the sauce that came with the fried pickles. Fries were delicious and hot. Some of the onion rings were strange. The smaller ones mostly. They weren't even warm and had a chewy consistency. It was weird. As far as the atmosphere? Ugh. That alone killed it for me. 1) it's so dark in there. The dark floors...the dark ceilings...and all that dark wood! All that darkness paired with the depressing country music playing had me wanting to take myself out. Maybe it's good if you're there to drink your sorrows away and whatever teardrops they were singing about, but I found it irritating and agitating. BBQ isn't strictly country music - it can be blues too.

My only suggestion would be to cook the noodles a bit less so they have some heft in the thick sauce. Their biscuits are delicious especially with butter and honey. And Jenna was thoughtful in bringing them before our meal was ready. This location still has their covid shields between tables which is great. They could use a good cleaning though. I would definitely return.

We were seated right away with a choice of a table or booth. We noticed they now serve appetizers. For lunch I picked the hand breaded chicken tenders. I selected the maple honey sauce to go with it. It came with coleslaw and banana bread. Which turns out to be my favorite. Shhh...I think she gave me two slices. Sooo good!! But it's a very clean restaurant and nicely decorated. They are attentive and make sure you have what you need. I'm very glad we decided to stop here. I would recommend checking out this Bob Evan's restaurant. It's feels like home away from home.
