    Monday Special Beef & Noodles
    Melissa T.

Walking down memory lane. Ate at Dell's in the late 1960's & early 1970's. Surprised it was still open. Glad it was. Our party of three sat at a table in the middle of the restaurant. I don't think the floor layout has changed in all the years. We ordered two cheese burgers & fries and a Monday Special of Beef & Noodle along with two sodas. All that was less than $35. DEAL. Burgers were nice size patties with perfectly toasted buns. Beef and noodles were served over REAL mashed potatoes. The noodles were not homemade which for the price was expected. Generous chunks of meat were found throughout the dish. Oh forgot to say a salad bar was included with the Special. I was pleasantly surprised to find a picked beat juice whole egg. The owner chatted with us. Excellent customer service.

The place is decorated with old lunch boxes and Thermos bottles.

This is a great old style diner. Food is excellent, especially the BBQ ribs. The meat just falls off the bones. Everyone is friendly and there are daily breakfast and lunch specials. Definitely worth a stop if you're near Fostoria.

THE best ribs in Ohio and their famous "fried" mac & cheese is life changing! No wonder they're approaching their 100th anniversary!!!

The food that I've ordered is usually breakfast. It's very good. Definitely a Mom & Pop place. Staff is kind of grumpy.

Good food for sure. My mom loves their Manhattan sandwiches. Small business but they have some good stuff on their menu.

There does not seem to be many local diners or restaurants. Anyway, we walked in and the place was pretty busy. There did not seem to be anyone who was designated as the host or hostess, and it took awhile for someone to acknowledge that we were there. It was not clear if we sat ourselves or if we get seated. We sat ourselves at a table near the front.... We were greeted by our server who took our drink orders. Overall service was decent and acceptable--nothing over the top or bad. The menu items was very typical of what one would find at a diner or family restaurant in rural America. They had items from meatloaf to burgers to fish to salads. They even had some Greek items (like Greek salad and gyros). I opted for the liver and onions with mashed potatoes and gravy. The dinner included soup or salad and a vegetable. I got the cabbage soup, which was excellent. The liver and onions was very good too. Overall a very decent experience. For a town like Fostoria, foodie dining options are pretty limited. The quality and service here is good, and I would not mind coming back.
