She had lots of good recommendations. I got the southwest burger which was awesome! Had a lot of good flavor but could've used a little bit more spice/heat. We sat in the bar area in a cozy little booth. The place was decorated with all kinds of college sports apparel and memorabilia which was fun to look at. Only suggestion (if any) for this place I would make is, serve the beer in cold glasses. My beer came out in a warm glass and it made it taste funny. I was there with a friend 2 days in a row last week. The first day - we sat at the bar, had a couple of drinks, and tried a few appetizers. The artichoke queso dip is amazing and the Brussels sprouts are crispy and full of flavor. I don't remember what the 3rd app was but I know it was also delicious. The bartender was great, she poured nice drinks and never stopped moving the whole time we were there! The second day, we sat in the dining room which was super comfortable. I had an incredible burger with cheese curds on it but there were at least 4 other burgers I really wanted to try! My friend had a steak sandwich, which she LOVED! WELL! I got there with my family, and the hostesses were very standoffish and didn't seem to understand what they were doing and were quite rude with their facial expressions. When we finally got seated, we were placed in a very tight spot having to constantly move for people. Our waiter Deb was friendly but rude at the same time. In a room literally filled with other diners, she made my husband and I just feel SO welcome and comfortable. I could hear her running through the orders at adjacent tables, explaining the burger menu and following up to clarify side orders, but she was poised and gracious, taking the time it took and never sounding rushed. Plus there was her huge smile...Amazing! We live about 200 miles away from Beckett's so it might be a while until we can return, but if you're luckier than we are and can get there in fewer than hour(s), go see Whittney at Beckett's. I've been to Beckett's before they moved, but the menu has completely changed. Don't go by the pictures here in Yelp because they don't have a lot of things anymore. I ordered a Greek salad and the lettuce and mixed greens were pretty wilted and did not look fresh. I picked several slimy and brown pieces out. I only ended eating about 1/2 of it. The service was ok, but there were a lot of people standing around doing nothing. The space on the bar side seems cramped and the other side seems abandoned. The two spaces do not relate or interact well with eat other. I wouldn't make the drive back and if I happened to go here again, I would just stick with a burger. read more

I visited Beckett's after searching for a good burger online and reading the description that they served "Award Winning 1/2 pound ground chuck, hand-pattied, grilled to perfection" burgers. I'll start with the positive. The pretzel breadsticks and queso (presumably a US Foods option) were hot and tasted very good. My daughter ordered those, so at least one of us was satisfied at the end of the meal. Onto the abject disaster. I ordered the double meat Packo's Pickle Burger (at $20) and there is no way in hell that burger was fresh or hand pattied. It had all of the blandness and watery, mushy texture of a frozen patty. The best comparison for taste and texture I can make is that it was like eating wet cardboard. The least they could have done to disguise the fact that they are engaging in false advertising would have been to season it, but it was as bland as it was soggy. I couldn't make it through half of the burger because it was so atrocious. It's a damn shame that the owners cannot be truthful in how they advertise their product. If they have switched to frozen patties, they should change the verbiage on your website to reflect that, so they don't lead customers astray. Not only will I not recommend Beckett's to friends and family, I will openly caution them to avoid it. read more

Nice place! I had never been here before, a buddy asked me to go there to watch part of the Army Navy Football game. It's set up pretty nice with a bourbon bar in the back, a standard bar and sitting area in the middle, a dining area to towards the front and a party room upstairs. We sat at the bar where there are multiple tv's mounted. The bar tender was nice and helpful. We ordered the pretzel breadsticks and a couple of beers. The pretzel breadsticks were awesome, they come with a side of queso to dip them in. I'll have to go back to try the burgers which I'm told they are known for. read more

In a nutshell, it was truly solid! The tables are pretty spaced out to accommodate for safe social distancing due to COVID. And the brioche bun was amazing - soft, glazed and chewy! I upgraded to the seasoned waffle fries and that was a good call. They were perfection! We ordered potato skins, which were brought without any condiments. They were okay. The actual potato part was not done at all in the center and very hard. The chicken tenders are horrible. Chips were dry and unsalted. I ordered the fish sandwich, no cheese, and it came out with cheese and no tarter sauce at all and waitress seemed annoyed when I asked for it. The waffle fries were totally inedible. Hard as rocks. My daughter ordered the burger which was good, cooked perfect. Her onion rings were good, but it's very obvious the fryer oil is old/dirty. Anything fried seemed to have issues We may try again, as my daughter is going to be going to school at BG, but ultimately we were very disappointed. We reserved the space behind Beckett's/The Barrel Room for a party and it was so perfect! We ordered a good variety of dishes from the kitchen (they offered catering, but our group was small), we had a bartender, and the space was perfect for our party of 15. Absolutely better than finding someone's house and having to wash dishes and figure out seating. I would recommend Beckett's and their menu. I'm someone that has a LOT of food icks so I tend to stick with the same places; one of those places is Beckett's! Always great food & service and a perfect place to party. read more

Might have been good, but customer service was offensive enough to drive us to the neighboring restaurant. For once, we were off work early and thought we would try out a "Happy Hour" in our new home in Bowling Green...only to learn that ONLY the beverages were a dollar off until 6 pm, NOT the appetizers..... This despite the prominent Internet ads advertising exactly this. Would have been so easy for the server AND the manager to say, "oops we are sorry, we just changed our policy, we'll grandfather you in..." but instead they intimated, well, you dummies, lookee here at the fine print..... We just decided not to spend our dollars here, paid for our drinks and went next door to Juniper. No cheaper, but way nicer......and nice wins in our world. read more

We were in town for a cheer competition and was looking for something different so we gave Beckett's a shot. The food and service here was amazing. Wings, burgers and wraps were phenomenal.
