This review is only to reach the 85 character requirement for Yelp! reviews. I grew up on Benny's pizzas, subs, root beer, etc... occasionally they have specialty subs for limited time and the absolute best was a crab sub from the early 2000's. The service is always impeccable. The atmosphere is unmatched, especially Friday nights after high school football games. Now that I've hit the required character count...the one word review for Benny's Pizza is Legendary. read more

Run by new people and jacked prices beyond a decent price. I've changed to another pizza place. Buy at least one pie aweek. Many ppl have complained read more

Every time we go here, the staff is always friendly. This time they had a band inside playing Christmas music which made the environment super fun and the food is phenomenal. They messed up our order and gave us that pizza and remade another one because they felt so bad and both were delicious. read more

Benny's Pizza - Small All the Way Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Marysville, Ohio

They tell me to get there at 5:45. it's now 6:30 and my pizza is still in the back not even in the oven. I get you're busy but don't tell me my pizza will be ready and have me waiting for 45mins longer than I was told. it's been a long work week as it is, and pizza night is what I get to look forward to, now I gotta figure dinner out elsewher. Last time I was there the pizza was cold because it was just sitting there while I starred at it, and the person working the to go counter kept getting everyone else behind me their pizza as mine sat. Benny's is now out of our Friday night pizza routine. read more

Great food and great service! We have been going to Bennys for a few years and suggest you give it a try. It's awesome! read more

New to Marysville, 3 months in, but Bennys is by far my favorite. Carry out pizza, 5X, and each time is been good. Crust is cooked and crispy, have just the right amount of sauce, toppings are fresh, very good. Tried sit down restaurant for first time and it did not disappoint! wife and I got the Italian sub, great bread to meat ratio, mix of meats was perfect, with a light Italian dressing. Wife got the fruit, all fresh, not canned, I got the onion rings, they were crispy and very tasty. Try either or both, will be back for their ribs! read more

The warm pretzels were a good appetizer. But the pizza was amazing!! Old world pepperoni, Italian sausage and mushrooms covered the pizza. We loved the sauce and the crust too. The service was excellent! read more

Wonderful pizza and a huge space. Live music every Friday and Saturday. Lots of parking space. Separate beer garden. Not a great selection of beer was a disappointment. I ended up with a white claw. read more

Friendly service! The pizza is amazing!!! Love all the different combinations. Also love the free fresh popcorn while you wait. Our favorite pizza is the Athens. Mouthwatering good. It's a hole in the wall kind of vibe with great food. read more

I wanted to like this place, I really did. So much that I've gone about 10 times now (tried solo, with friends, with my husband, with my niece). I would only recommend getting their food to go if you're that hungry. It doesn't matter if it's slow or busy, the service is horrific. Items missing, not bringing sides when asked, kinda wild. Other than the live music options and decent food, I'd skip the rest. read more

First time : I honestly absolutely love this place it was a little crammed but I think that was just where we sat or the time we went but staff was overall very friendly and quick . The pizza was absolutely delicious and the wings were good . read more

They have it all going on here - good food, good service, great staff, incredible huge patio and live music. It was absolutely packed on a beautiful summer night, so parking can be tough. The crowd was a diverse mix of ages and everyone was there to have fun. Come for dinner and make a night of it. There is also a hot tub (?) but thankfully no one was in it. read more

Very good pizza and atmosphere! Very friendly and good family restaurant . Very busy place and also has entertainment on certain days

Perfect spot for Marysville. I can find better pizza closer to Powell..but it does the trick for something different. The parking lot is large. Amazing for a nice summer night with live music. We sat at the bar. I feel like they can crank down the lighting some, but it is what it is. It was very awkward..you have to play Touch Tunes or there isn't music or anything. I got a couple glasses of wine..pretty average. We got a BLT pizza. It had been my favorite there for years. There is a popcorn machine I adore. I will always be back here. Service was awesome. Come here with the fam, after a sports game, fast date night, more casual events for sure. Kinda dirty inside but it is the type of place. read more

Favorite pizza place of all time! The BLT pizza is my absolute favorite and super unique if you're looking for something different than your typical pizza. All their pizzas are great, my family loves the Hawaiian, the meat pizza and the one with everything on it. We usually do takeout but I've sat down once. The building is quite small and gets busy quickly but the food is worth the wait. read more

Normally we eat at the restaurant. Mostly during the summer when it's warm outside. We drive from Dublin, have a couple cold beers, listen to music and eat delicious pizza! Last night I was passing through Marysville and decided to try carry-out. I don't know why I even doubted it, of course it was amazing. We ordered the garbage pizza as usual. I don't even care for pineapple on my pizza but in this pizza...I love it. This out of the way, old school pizza place reminds me of growing up in small town Ohio. If you are near...you gotta try it! read more

It has been awhile since I have been here but this is by far one of the BEST hangout spots in Marysville!! The food is always great and the outdoor seating is a bonus! Such a great atmosphere for families to gather as well!! Staff is great and prices are reasonable for the quality of food in my opinion! read more

Best pizza in town! Try the Gyro or Greek pizza when looking for something different.

Great pizza and service. Highly recommend. Only slight downside at times is timing on food being ready but doesn't really affect the quality. read more

Another of my favorite Columbus area hidden gems! The live music in the warm months drew me in. The outdoor music venue is amazing! The food surpassed my expectations, I highly recommend the homemade pepperoni ("old world style" as they call it). The service is probably above average. If you like music, give this place a try! read more

Wonderful pizza (generous amounts of toppings & loved the old world pepperoni); good bourbon selection, free popcorn. Huge space in & out, many TV's, live music schedule. Happy Hour is 2-6p and staff friendly - we'll be back. read more

Benny's is worth the hype. I don't live in Marysville but I was driving through and remembered the rave reviews for this place so I stopped in to order. I took the advice of others and asked for extra sauce. So glad I did. Really good sauce. I'd say it's a little on the sweet side but not in a bad way. Nice dense crust but not too thick. Toppings were good too. My son pointed out that the pizza reminded him of Sparano's on the west side. I agree. It is definitely in the ballpark but I'd say a couple notches better. Had to wait at the bar and the bartenders were really nice and prompt. I'll be back for sure. read more

In Marysville for the first time it was late . Luckily, I found Benny's Pizza. Vibe - Feels like a family establishment/pub feel. Music in the background (80s or 90s) Staff and Service - Amy was an awesome server , she provided recommendations and they were great! She alone, popped it up 3 stars Food - Coming from Cali, they use fresh ingredients and that pizza sauce taste legit. I ordered the bone in wings (habanero) , I prefer my wings fried then sauced so there was no crunch this time around, but the heat was perfect with the IPA Amy offered to try. Overall - If Google allows it, will be worth a second visit Will definitely try some other dishes . read more

They have always been great, but today the food was fine and the service terrible. We had to ask twice for a wait person, we sat at least 20 minutes before someone came to even get a drink order. We ordered drinks and food at the same time. Soup and salad came, but it was at least 35 minutes---no pizza. No drink refills. I flagged someone down and asked they cancel the pizza. Then suddenly it appeared. We boxed it and got the check. When asked about the meal, I again explained how bad the service was. Lots of excuses and instead of deducting something, she asked what we wanted her to do with bill. Seriously? I found it shabby and insulting. read more

Love these pizzas. Love the no drama attitude of the staff even for large groups, they just get it done. Great environment for get togethers with friends and family. Solid! read more

Tried Benny's for lunch. Cool place with giant patio. Apparently they have live music Thursday through Sunday. It had just rained so we chose to sit inside. Alejandro did a great job taking care of our party of six. He was very engaging and answered all of our menu questions. We loved how he cracked jokes with us every time he came to the table. So our group had the pretzels, stuffed mushrooms, brisket tacos, chicken tacos, ham and cheese sub and the best part...the garbage pizza. We ordered it with all the toppings (except anchovies) and it was so so so good. I can't say enough about this pizza. Crispy thin crust that totally held up to all the toppings. The sausage and pepperoni taste like their made in house but I didn't see anything on the menu that said so. Great flavor in every bite. And this is one time the pie felt like it should be cut in squares...ha ha ha, Mike G. I'm looking forward to going back! Yum! read more

Benny's Pizza - Garbage pizza - Pizza Near Me - Marysville, Ohio

Bennys is a local favorite, and rightly so. The crust is classic central Ohio light and crispy, with generous topings. Benny's is routinely ranked in the top pizza joints in the greater Columbus region. Bennys has other excellent quality, and tasty menu options as well. Highly recommended. read more

Service was good. Our pizza was delicious. Mixed drinks were well done. Wait time wasn't bad at all

My family had lunch here based on positive reviews, but were very disappointed. My son had a turkey/cheese hoagie which was average, but the pizza was overloaded with semolina on the bottom such that the overall taste was sandy and gritty. It tasted as if we were eating on the beach. We complained to the 3 young folks, and they couldn't care less. Loud head banging music was anxiety producing, and unacceptable for the atmosphere. We felt as if we wasted our money, and what should've been an enjoyable, relaxing Sunday lunch was a negative learning lesson. read more

Bottom Line: what's not to like - Pretzels, Pizza and Wings, Oh My!!!! Bullets: Food - everything we had was delicious Atmosphere - nothing spectacular but comfortable and plenty of room inside and outside. Tables and bar seating. Staff - our waiter, Gary, was awesome! Everyone we came in contact with was professional , efficient AND nice. Price - Reasonable Went for Wings because my son said they were the best wings he's had since living in Ohio - say no more. I always appreciate when they let you split the order into different flavors. The table had Plain, Chipotle, and Spicy Garlic. 20 Wing Order $20.79. They were all good. My favorite was the Plain, but that is def just my preference in general. Next time I'm going to get the sauce on the side. These wings are super meaty so the only thing I would do different next time is ask for a little extra crisp. The "All The Way Pizza" was delicious. Large $24.75. The toppings were so plentiful you barely saw dough or cheese. The crust under the toppings stayed sturdy but wasn't over cooked which so often happens to hold all those toppings up. Our 1 child had a Kid Tender with Fries, $6.20. I don't know what they do to those fries but (here it comes - the most over-used phrase on Yelp) They Were THE Best Fries I have ever had!!!!! Skins on, not too thick, not too skinny, and perfectly crisped. Every one had a "crunch" when you bit into it. We also got an order of Braided Pretzel Twists $6.79. Superfluous......yet.......Very Necessary!! Skip the Mustard and ask for Double Cheese to dip. Some nice beers on tap too. I had the Kentucky Bourbon Stout $6.50. So why 5 *? It recently occurred to me that I go places and give a place that I liked everything about only 4* because it's not a 5* restaurant. Well that doesn't make sense to me anymore. I'm giving this 5* because if you are looking for a Pizza, Wing, Beer Music Venue place then this place is a 5* version of exactly that! Bottom Line: I fear this is going to be one of those places that I never ever taste anything else on the menu because I want one of everything I had the first time! read more

Pizza is good but the front desk person must be stressed. We ordered 3 Large pizzas and when he repeated the order back to us incorrectly and we verified he got short with us and said "I can't do anything about the price" and we didn't say anything about the price, lol? He misspoke. Then when we went to pick it up he was quite unpleasant when we verified a second time picking up. It's okay to have a rough day just don't show it to your customers. Damn. read more

Oh my gosh! If you are in Marysville, OH even if just passing through, you MUST visit this pizza place!! They have lots of toppings on their pizza and it is worth every penny! We always have left overs because it is super filling and they taste great the next day. There is free popcorn that they bring to your table while you wait for your pizza to be made. But be careful not to eat too much of it or you won't be able to eat as much yummy pizza. The kids like the pretzels with cheese. However, I recommend saving your appetite for the pizza, which is why we come here! read more

I've been going to Benny's Pizza since probably before I was born. I have family in Marysville and Benny's was the place to go year round. From the giant root beer mug on top of the building, to the back corner of the sprawling patio- Benny's is a compound of mismatched buildings, tables and tents that has a dive bar sense of cozy. The main building houses the kitchen and the main bar, which you squeeze past after walking in the door. You keep walking to get to the hostess stand, past the popcorn machine, and they'll seat you inside or outside! Past the hostess stand are the bathrooms and some arcade games. There's an enclosed patio off the main building, a tent off of that, and then the big patio with an extra bonus bar building by the fence. Their stage takes new artists, local bands, and cover bands alike and if you want to have a seat or table for a show you better get there early. I usually get their pizza, pepperoni mushroom, or an Italian sub whenever I go. Other menu favorites are the gyro pizza, the antipasto salad, and their wings. The popcorn is free and is brought to every table by the wait staff. The staff of Benny's are mostly townies or local high school kids, super nice and well-meaning so be patient. For a lot of them it's their first job and it's always so busy, your water might not get refilled right away. When in doubt ask for a pitcher! It makes it so much easier to refil your drinks yourself that way (beer, water, pop, or their house-made root beer) I'm definitely wearing some nostalgia tinted glasses writing this review- but Benny's will always be a staple of my hometown. read more
