I'm not sure if its because I now have a black car or what but I've found over the last year when I leave I have to check that the car has been completely dried and often I have to double check all areas are vacuumed. This use to be a speedy top notch spot for getting your car detailed and lately I find it to be just so-so and this is after several years of being a customer. read more

A few weeks ago, got a full detail job on my Mazda and I thought they did a terrific job and was very pleased with everything. One other thing: very honest! They found $7 in bills stuck under my seats and returned to me in a plastic bag. I would have never know it was gone, so appreciate their honesty. Highly recommend! read more

I'm done with this place - I've tried to give it a chance multiple times but I'm tired of paying $40 or more and still having to come home and clean my car and rims because they are still dirty. They have a consistent habit of not cleaning the passenger side of the car that you can't see. Today was the last straw. I started using the Auto Spa because I didn't want to continue driving down to Shady Grove to go to Touch Less Car Wash which does an exceptional job and all the years I've been going there i have never had to double check my car because they do a superb job. But after today I will gladly make that drive down to Touch Less Car wash on Shady Grove rd because I know that my car will be clean properly and I get what I pay for,so the drive is worth it. read more

This carwash scratched my car sides (brand new Audi Q5) by the windows. It was so violent going through the whirling brush wheels, I thought the car was going to crush. AND Didn't clean the bugs off the front, also didn't clean the wheels at all. I didn't have time to go back through the line and complain. But I won't go back. read more

don't waste your time, goto the Germantown or Hagerstown location. Staff is incredibly rude and the cashiers at the front don't even know what the packages are. The manager (I assume) turned my car away for a 45 min service at 12pm, and said they didn't have time during that whole day when there were 3 cars in the place total. Went to Germantown and staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and accepted me immediately yet had 10 cars in the lot. I feel bad for the staff who actually work on your car who are always friendly since there management won't bother to get them any business!! read more

Horrible experience and management! They damaged my new car while cleaning it and didn't even say anything. When I spoke with manager Anne Marie all she did is tell me where to take it be fixed. She never even called to follow up!! When I then pointed out how terrible the actual car wash was all she did was tell me what I should have asked for...really??? if you know it is a problem then you should just do it instead of making the customer ask for it!! After my car was fixed I called the corporate office...not much help either...as nice as the person was that I spoke with there was still no follow up from the so-called manager...AND nothing was done to make up for the horrible wash job or the inconvenience of me having to take time off of work and have to run up and down Rt. 40 to have my car fixed. POOR MANAGEMENT!!! And POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I will never go back there and I will tell everyone I know what type of experience I had there. Not to mention my car was the second car the damaged that day with in a 20 minute time frame! read more

I've been a customer for years primarily due to convenience and not wanting to do it myself. I've accepted the low quality; spots missed on the exterior and interior and the high cost because it was on my way to work. The last straw for me was arriving to have the interior cleaned and finding the service was not offered because it was 23 degrees outside. There are obvious ways to address the weather (such as outside heaters, increased breaks for employees to warm up) but I was told they decided not to offer the service today. I cannot afford to waste time and since I cannot rely on Fredericktowne Auto Spa to have the services they advertise available I am taking my business elsewhere. I suggest you save some frustration and do the same. read more

Worst car wash ever!!! My cars paint is now scratched. I am not sure if it's the washer portion or the rags that they used to wipe down the cars. Also, my car smells of mildew and sewage. No wonder they push for those awful car smells. Don't waste your money or time. read more

The Fredericktowne Auto Spa crew are amazing--they are friendly, knowledgeable, courteous. The work is professional and thorough. The customer waiting area is comfortable and clean, which is important because it can take 45-60 minutes for a works wash and some special services. And the prices are incredibly reasonable (be sure to check for coupons on their website). They do a great job! read more

We were drawn in by the loyalty program. We've been going there regularly for at least the last 8 years. Even though the people are friendly, they have discontinued the loyalty program, they have significantly raised the prices, and the quality of their work has suffered much. Even when we pay for the $40 service, removed the car seats, emptied out the car, it didn't even look like they used a vacuum cleaner. It's sad but there is little enticement for me to return. read more

If there was a zero I would give it. Signed up for the monthly package with crappy wheel treatments continuously until I was told by one very customer savvy manager "well that's the wheel "brightening" treatment when every other time my ask was attended to by another much more attentive, and tall, but perhaps not as communicative as to what I had paid for and what I had not. Not this time. Told him 50 yards from any customer this was the first I had heard of this in over 6 months, and half the reason I was paying for this was to not have to do this "f'ing part of it" (not in a bemeaning but more of a frustrated way). Told me if I was going to use that language we can just stop your service right now. Said fine...nice customer service, and you may want to tell all the Spanish speaking workers that some of the customers can understand when they are complaining about customers and using foul language, albeit in foreign language. He went into the shop, gave me $20 bucks and said "we're done here". Ha ha don't know me very well son. Calls into the Managing Partner, WLR automotive group head in the area, and their boss. Just got back from getting my car "washed and cleaned." What a joke!! I paid $40 and feel as though I just wasted my hard-earned money :( The "greeter" was very unfriendly, almost acting like I was impositioning her by being there. The cashier was very nice and friendly- I think this was the only redeeming quality of today's visit, actually. The seats in my car were not vacuumed in the back, there were crumbs on the floor, the dash was only partially wiped down with Armor All so you could see where it hadn't been wiped, there was sticky stuff on the back window that was clearly not cleaned, I will have to go over the outside again because there are so many missed spots that are still dirty, and the list goes on. I'm majorly disappointed. And bug removal is an extra $30...really??? Think that will be my last visit to the AutoSpa. read more

Exterior was fairly decent. However, windows were not complete (top edges were not touched), paid for vacuuming and had to re-do it myself at home. Crevices and a couple larger areas untouched! In addition, I had 9:00AM appointment and was told would take no more than 3 hours. dropped off vehicle at 8:55AM and did not get back until about 4:00PM. Lost a side job because of this and I'm sure they won't make up the lost revenue. Poor management and possibly worse communication!!! One and done for me! read more

Favorite place to get my car detailed. The last time I took it in, they forgot to vacuum the back but I brought it back, they bumped it to the front of the line and immediately took care of it. Got every dog hair and bit of sand out from our summer vacation. The car looked like new! read more

Terrible costumer service. Cashiers act like they hate their job and don't even want to be there. I've gone several times since the last cashier left. I will not be going there anymore because the costumer service is terrible. cashiers don't know what they're doing, they complain to you, and they'll get smart with you if you ask them a question. read more

I have used these guys in the past and I know the service is adequate at best and I have to go redo a lot when I get home. Especially the wipe down and windows. But my last experience will be my last. My black truck sat in the sun while the water dried. They finally get to me to do the extras I paid for (doors, console, bugs and wheels) after 20 minutes of waiting. And the job was so bad I finally got so frustrated I went in to speak to the cashier. He was no help. Just kept telling me I would be serviced in the order I came out...although at least eight vehicles AFTER me had already left. Then the "blue shirt" guy doing my bug removal, and very poorly leaving spray all over my truck, moves my truck out of the way...Oh did I mention they had left the engine running for 15 minutes at this point, he tells me they are going to have someone do the doors. After a few more minutes of waiting I had had enough and just got in my truck and left and figured I would do for myself what I paid them to do. Horrible staff and management. pretty good for a quick clean but they never really clean my rims. i think they are expensive. when i pay 40 buck for a cleaning i expect it to look great. i never leave feeling i got my money's worth. read more
