I found Samuda detailing through the Opti-Coat website, where they were listed as one of the few certified installers in the area. Marques was very helpful and informative about the various options and different products he currently uses and has tried. He did an extremely thorough job, coating everything the eye could see, including the wheels and even the brake calipers (which look fantastic). When I went to pick up my car early in the morning, Marques was outside with it in sub-40 degree weather, doing some final touch-ups, just to make sure it looked perfect before handing it over. I posted pictures, but they really do not do justice to how it looked in real life. So far, the ceramic coating is amazing and my first test was when some sticky, gooey berries landed/stuck to my car and they came off with just a wet cloth; no scrubbing. I had my car detailed but unfortunately the interior was still clearly dirty. I contacted him via email (at 4:45pm) and explained that the interior still has coffee stains and obvious dirt in it and included photos. His response was verbatim at 8:31pm... "I'm sorry to hear that you are not happy with the interior. I thought everything was ok. I did above and beyond with the executive package. We broke out the steam cleaner and air compressor on your vehicle. That level detail doesn't require full detail like you are looking for. That's more presidential and Showroom. Your interior is already pretty light and we tried to get everything as possible for the price. Sorry for the confusion". No where in this email does he say that he will return to fix the issue. It does however let me know that since I didn't spend enough money, my car wasn't worth his time since he mentioned the type of package. That my car is still dirty because of the color of the interior and the amount that I spent. My response at 9:15pm is below. "The photos that I enclosed are just from extremely obvious dirt and drink spillage. That's why I enclosed the photos to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding about what I am writing about, so that you could see that it was just a matter of cleaning it or wiping it with cleaner. The photos show issues with the black steering wheel, the stainless steel drink holder, the light, the black dashboard... those areas are not associated with the light grey interior. I have had the vehicle detailed by VW for $85 and it definitely included thoroughly wiping down the interior to free it of daily stains or dirt. From the email you replied with, I would have to pay over $100 to have the car properly wiped down from standard dirt and drink stains? Dually noted". If you read his response, you can see that it was his final response. My husband and brother arrive at the house around 9:25pm and I ask them to get in the car and I never say the reason. They get in and immediately notice that it is neat but still dirty and asked me if I cleaned myself and pointed out the issues. I informed them that I had Samuda come out and that I contacted and let them read the email. My brother was livid because he just spent quite a bit of money with them on his M6. Now understand that I have a VW Passat so my car isn't fancy or anything. My brother immediately texts him and less than 5 minutes later (maybe 3 minutes) he received a phone call and I was informed that he would return to fix the issue this week, which turned out to be the next morning. When he arrived he stated that he could see all the issues that I stated and they missed some things which is why they like to come back out to ensure a customers happiness. I have several issues... 1. It took a man to complain and get it fixed. 2. It was only addressed because he didn't want to lose my brothers business and potentially my husbands but I was expendable due to the amount of money spent. 3. He never picked up the phone to call me, the client that complained. 4. He didn't want to ensure my happiness because he said exactly how he felt in the first email. 5. He had photographic proof in the initial email and never once stated that coming to fix it was an option. 6. He stated that the car still appeared dirty because of the light grey interior. Wrong! As a business owner myself, you never blame the customer or the vehicle, especially with obvious proof. I am not sure if I'm more highly offended because he treated me like "a little woman in a mans world" or that the amount spent was insignificant so he would rather take the loss than to come address it. It doesn't matter how much a customer spends, if you offer it, you need to want to keep a standard of business across the board. read more

Two weeks ago I took my new vehicle to Samuda Detailing. The dealership that I bought it from did a lousy job of cleaning it before selling it to me. Setting up the appointment was fast and easy, and when I picked up my vehicle when it was done I was simply amazed! I've always taken pride in detailing my own car, but two babies have replaced that luxury. His definition of showroom and mine are two different things. $300 dollars for a full size pickup is a little high put if it's going to be a great job then no problem. However I received a terrible job. I took photos of areas that where not even wiped down. Inside of door jams should be wiped down. One would think. I purchased my truck off the showroom floor. I also worked my way thru school detailing cars for car dealerships. Although no one ever goes in my back seat that does mean don't clean them. How I know there was still dirt no metal brackets. Very disappointed in overall job. That doesn't even take into consideration that he uses Goof off on plastic on side mirrors and discolor plastic. When I did ask him about it at first he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. If you detail anything for a living one would think they pay attention to the details. He did offer to pay for it. To be fair I never even got an estimate to get it repaired. read more

Samuda Detailing and Marques absolutely ROCK! I bought my truck used in January and was never happy with the cleanliness of it but knew I'd get it professionally detailed eventually. Of course I wanted to wait until after winter but never could decide on where to take it. Then it went through summer so not only was it still gross from snow and everything else it now had sand in it from the beach along with the usual kid's stuff since I also have a 4 year old. I finally decided to get a full on detail as I am due with twins soon so I wanted my truck spotless. Needless to say, my expedition came back to me looking AMAZING and brand new. It was so simple to set up an appointment with Marques and he honestly does contact you quickly to finalize all the details and if something comes up he is more than willing to work with you. He's mobile so he can come to you, but in my case I didn't have the best situation for him to work (construction dust in a new development, no garage although that doesn't stop him, and a few more things) but stuff like that he works around. He worked on my truck in his garage and even brought it back to me which was fantastic because my husband doesn't always get home early and I am on bedrest so I couldn't go pick it up. Seriously, I couldn't have asked for a better detail job and a better person to have worked with. Marques takes his job, his customers and his business very seriously and went above and beyond for me. My truck is cleaner than I could have imagined and ready to install those car seats!
