When the Rosemont Car Wash was purchased several years ago, and when the owner was in attendance; it was an excellent car wash. However, since his absence my partner and I have noticed a steady decline in their service. Several days ago I payed $35 for the works. My passenger side window is streaked, water still remained on my car, tires were not cleaned and dried properly, air fresher was not placed in car, and some debris still remained on my car. Not a happy customer. The quality was below standards and the attendants were not very attentive to the details. I did not leave a tip. I will be returning to the car wash on 40 (West Patrick). They provide a much better service and detail is a priority. read more

Used to be ok car wash. Took my car in for exterior and interior cleaning. Outside was just ok. They never did the inside of windows,still dirt on center console. Had to remind them to do the tire dressing and vacuum the back of my Jeep. WON'T GO BACK AGAIN. read more

This is a long time (15+year) car wash in Frederick. My first visit here in over five years. After 6 months my Ford Edge really needed a "full service" wash and interior clean. At $30.00 plus $5.00 tip it was expensive but it was thorough and very well done. Exterior was excellent with a full wipe down, good mag wheel cleaning, and good door jam cleaning. Interior was also very good with floor mat washing, dash, console, door, and seat wipe down with silicone treatment cleaner. Windows were also all cleaned inside and out but there was one inadvertent(?) skip here...the interior tail gate window (which I noticed on the way home and cleaned myself in 3 minutes when I arrived at home.)...which is the only reason I gave a 4 star instead of five star rating. Full service takes 20 -25 minutes but it's worth it...especially for someone like me with a bad back! I'll be coming back to this car wash a lot sooner than five years this time. read more

I frequent this car wash and so it is long overdue that I write a review, because These guys work so hard and are so kind... I always get the wash, the wheel and tire shine, as well as the interior. They also offer a more extensive detail, but I think that may require an appointment, not sure. The first time they did it, I was a little disappointed, because it wasn't spotless inside, but then I came back to reality. I had to consider things; the price(can't beat it), timing(they are good and quick), and realistically you can't expect a car to be spotless for that. As a young woman, going to a dominantly male car wash, they have never once made me feel uncomfortable or taken advantage of in any way. They are always very kind and respectful!! Both of our cars were really in need of a wash and a quick interior vacuum/ wipe down (the second one was way worse than the other because of our dog). We had been scoping this place out for a few days every time we drove past and also online reading reviews because the ownership had changed. Prices were still the same (pay for the level of exterior service you want and then add on the level of interior service you want). We decided to patronize because the workers were all wearing masks 100% of the times we drove by and they also had gloves. We took the less fur-filled car first. It came out beautifully. We could not have been happier. We were given "car scent strips" to give it fresh smell (not our thing, but very thoughtful). They also continued the "punch/ stamp card" system used by the previous owners where you eventually earn a free wash -- love this. To make ourselves feel safe, we drove home with our masks on after wiping down steering wheel, etc. and left the car to "bake" in the 95+ degree heat for the rest of the day in our driveway. We took the second car and had the owner, Alex Magdaleno, come over and explained that we were completely conscious that this was not a "regular level" vacuum job and we were more than willing to adjust the price point. He told us that we would pay for a regular vacuum job and we could tip the extra money to the workers out front doing the vacuuming. This was so beyond ethical and kind and good. There is nothing we love to see more than an owner taking care of their employees. They worked for about fifteen minutes as a crew and the car looked so much better (you will never get a perfect looking car if your dog rides in it!). This is an independent, local business. They also do auto detailing, leather treatment and engine detailing by appointment and we did check out the prices and they are competitive with the larger auto spas in town. Since becoming the new owner, the inside waiting room has been cleaned out, bathrooms are available and clean for the public, and the inside was painted. While we waited, the phone rang a few times with people booking appointments to have their cars detailed. I was impressed that even after just a few months, they are steadily booking business which probably is consisting of repeat customers. It is pretty stark in terms of decor, but they are just rebooting and I have high hopes that they will do well. We feel very comfortable going here during COVID and will continue to do so afterwards because of our experience! read more

Well, this is basically an old gas station wash. The brushes are a mix of the fine plastic bristles and the thicker rubber-like plastic ones. To be fair, they do a LOT of prep work. Of course, that may be due to the old wash mechanism and chemicals. I could swear I got a round of yellow bug and tar wash on the top of the windshield and roof which surprised me. There were stains left on the white paint afterwards as the wash failed to remove some of the bird droppings. I went to Flagship in Rockville, MD later in the day and even that wash did not clear the stains. Another issue was the after-smell from the wash, which was a first, but probably also due to the old gear. Finally, during the drying cycle, some of the jets were firing so hard on the roof of my 2007 Accord that I thought it would be dented as it was vibrating. I hate to leave bad reviews but don't take a nice car here. PS Was checking tire pressure today- 2 days after wash- and noticed a 6 inch crease in the roof of the car as well as a parallel scratch and dent a few inches over. I cannot say it was from wash but I think the blower mechanism's wheels may have left their mark. Not sure what I will do at this point. read more

This is a no frills, simple car wash. They pre-wash your car before it runs through the machine and offer vacuum, and/or tire shine services for an additional few dollars. You can request that they only use sponges instead of a bristle brush if you're afraid your car will get scratched. They will offer a detailed vacuum service for an additional charge as well, especially if the inside of your car has not seen a vacuum cleaner since the day you bought it. If you want a simple, sweep up the crumbs and dog hair type of vacuum job, it's $5. If you want a detailed, get every corner, crevice, and crack type of vacuum job, get the next level up or go to an actual auto detailing place. Don't think that the measly $5 you're paying will get you very far. I'll stop by at least once a month to make sure I maintain the inside and outside of my car. The dirtier your car gets (both the interior & exterior) the harder it will be to wash and harder it will be to get all the bird crap and dead insects off. It's like a plate of pasta - the longer you leave it out, the harder it will be to scrape off all the gunk. I also like getting the tire shine service as it adds a nice shine to the tires - a detail that you don't really notice until you get it. It's also like $3. read more

Exceeded my expectations in quality of work and service. Had an interior detail only, but that price comes with a basic wash, and my vehicle looks brand new. Additionally, they were able to remove several large coffee and tea stains from my seat that another detail shop was unwilling to even attempt. For that additional service, they only charged an extra $7 !!! The only knock is that they are busy and the detailing took longer than I ecpected, but I would rather it be a good job (it was) than fast. A+++. Thank you! read more

In think that all the good reviews may be a matter of they've never had a good car wash. This place is tiny with littlle to no place for them to stack the cars. Because of this they rush and miss a lot. Additionally, they are under staffed so it takes forever. They also have about half the brushes as most places. We moved from Northern Va and I guess we got spoiled. I've tried 2 (Rosemont and Riverside) of the 3 "top rated" car washes 3 times each and no dice, they both suck. I'm going to try the Shell next, otherwise, I'll get it done near work in Gaithersburg or when I'm back in Northern Va. read more

I had high hopes for this wash. They did a wash down before it went through the mechanical wash but when it came out it was still covered in bird mess, bug carcasses, etc. I was told my car was complete only to look in and see that they hardly wiped anything down. I proceeded to wipe my own car down with wipes that I keep inside when a worker came over with windex. He wondered most of the windows but my windshield which is most important was ignored. The vacuum job was also poorly done. I won't be visiting here again. I guess I will have start cleaning my own car again and spending less money at a do it yourself wash. Clearly people do not take pride in their work anymore as this is one of the many poor car washes I've visited in the last few months. I use these for convenience but quality cannot be overlooked. read more

Since moving to MD, we hadn't been able to find a drive-in full service car wash like the Autobells we frequented in NC. They did a very thorough job! I also met the new owner Alex. Do not bring your business here. Not only do they do a do a severely weak job of cleaning your car, the staff is rude and rushes cars through the car wash line without doing an efficient job. It should be quality over quantity - that is how you keep your customers! My mother's car was severely damaged here yesterday and they have done absolutely nothing about it, despite saying that they would report it to their insurance. I find that hard to do when the only information they took was her name and phone number! Again, do not support this business. I have only been here twice - the first time they put grease on the inside of my windshield which took months to take off and the second time my mother's car was significantly damaged! $20 is NOT WORTH IT. I don't know why this car wash has 4 stars when it deserves 1. the outside of my car looked fine besides all of the bugs still stuck to the front of my car. interior cleaning was horrible my seats were not touched looked like they just vacummed the carpets...didn't even touch my middle console or anything around it! NOTHING WAS WIPED DOWN. I asked multiple times if they could go back and wipe my console down and it still didn't get done. I drove home and proceeded to wipe down the inside of my car myself. really wish I could take back my tip bc they do not deserve it. if you want your car cleaned please go anywhere but here. you will be disappointed!!! read more
