I was in line and the older man with a hat was treating my wheels. My dog started to bark and growl. I look back and he is looking in the window at the dog and started yelling 'COME ON , COME ON " to my dog ! This is BS. I called the manager and there was no answer. If he is the manager or owner we are in trouble ! Non caring animal hater !! My dog did not bark or growl at any other employee. They did their jobs wiped the car down ect and there were no issues . So to the guy who takes the money in the hat, shame on you !! You just lost a customer due to your actions. read more

I do not recommend using the coin operated section of the car wash. This has happened to me multiple times. High pressure soap is minimal. Foaming brush like crap. There's no apparent wax in the wax selection. And spot free rinse is nothing near spot free. My car I sprayed it with milk! read more

Is this the most wonderful car wash you're ever going to have the pleasure of using? No! Is it as scummy as some reviewers make it seem? No! It's a good car wash, that's about it. You get your money's worth with the tunnel wash. My car came out clean and shiny. They did a great job vacuuming out the crap in the rear footwells and trunk. They dried if off rather good. Yes there were a few drops on the trunk door, but elsewhere was good. They do seem however to leave a film when cleaning the windows. Nothing as bad as another reviewer put us. I think hyperbole is being used there. Just enough film to irritate me enough to redo them myself. But then I am rather anal about things like that. I'm sure there are better places to visit. Not in the Frederick area that I know of... Unless you want a detail done. And not that a detail is not a car wash! read more

This used to be my absolute favorite car wash in the area... they made it beautiful, took good care, were very careful, and did a great job. Now, unfortunately, it is not at all what it used to be. I have a brand new 2024 vehicle, pristine condition, absolutely no scratches or flaws anywhere. They banged the life out of my car with their brushes, and listening to it stressed me out because I had a feeling it would be bad. I have at least 10 new scratches on my car that were not there before they washed it; on my trunk, on my door handles on both sides, rear doors, side view mirrors, literally everywhere. I'm so disappointed, this is my brand new car and I basically paid them to decrease the value of my vehicle. Wish they were as good as they were in the past, I'll never take my vehicle there again, and now I get to pay to have somebody try to fix all of the new scratches. read more

The workers did a good job but need to learn not to brush hard on bumper sensors. I liked the $35 job and had no problems but went back the next day because the car had gotten covered with pollen and rained on overnight after it was washed. Long story short, after the second wash my left rear sensor was pushed into the bumper. I had to go the dealer, order a part, and go back two days later after the part arrived. Total cost: $218. The dealer was 22 miles away. Their workers are from Central and possibly South America. I doubt they had seen many bumper sensors in their home country. The Chinese owner was very abrupt, bringing me a chart of prices and indicating I should point to the one I wanted. I did and he said,"Money!" I looked at him, shouted "Money!" back to him, and handed him my card. read more

We purchased the most expensive wash. We were not entirely thrilled with bits of dirt still on the car, but it was not worth reviewing. Two days later as I set out early in the morning my Windows seemed to "fog up" and would not clear. I thought there was a problem with our vehicle... until I realized it was on the exterior of the windshield! Windshield wipers and wash fluid would not clear it either! Fortunately I had a little pack of windex wipes! I cleaned the driver's side first, then passenger side... but could not reach the center! You can see how dangerous driving was before cleaning by looking at the center of the windshield! I don't know what residue was on my windshield from that car wash... but they need to fix it before someone is injured! Be careful out there!!! read more

I was very impressed. They did a great job. About 5-6 guys vacuumed and wiped down the car. They do a pre-wash prior to sending you into the automatic wash then hand dry the car. 1st time visitor. NEVER AGAIN. I was shopping in the area and figured I'd get a car wash too. Bad mistake. While waiting in line for the auto wash, I noticed two workers scrubbing the cars down with brushes before the automatic part starts, I didn't think too much of it. However, after I got home and pulled my car into the garage, I noticed chips of paint all over my car. The hood, roof, both sides, and rear hatch. Additionally, there are scratches on my door from the brushes as they are vertical and horizontal. Also seems the rotating machinery gets too close to the car as I have some circular scratches. I park my car in the garage every night and just recently I washed it thoroughly by hand and didn't notice any of what I described above. Good luck with your paint job. read more

While I do love to wash my own car I have never been able to while living on the west coast....hence the use of car washes. Seeing how most in this area are sub par overcharging establishments I am very critical of local car washes. In walks Dolphin car wash ear Fredrick, MD. I was killing time before a wedding rehearsal I was at and needed to wash my car. It's been way to long since I've given love to the Jeep and passed his place that looked not so bad. I noticed the self wash bays and that they had a drive through car wash. Score. Let's go. As I drove up the attendant was very nice and showed me the options. They got your typical list of 6-8 options at varying levels and expenses. I picked the number 6 coming in at $26. I picked his cause my tires and floor mats needed some love after a long and not so great winter. Oh and it's sill continuing in April so maybe a bit premature in a car wash. Oh well. I got out of the car so they could clean and vacuum the inside. There was approximately 6 guys rocking the cleaning. Usually at places they do this part in seconds....not here. They likely spent almost 5-8 min cleaning it out. Impressive. And made it smell good. Next part was the drive through typical car wash which was supremely relaxing. Probably cause I had been up since 345am and was about to fall asleep. At the end you have 3-4 guys looking like teenagers drying off the car. They did a really good job and were very friendly. I felt bad cause I tipped the guys at the first part thinking that was it, not knowing here were guys to clean at the end too. So needless to say I shortened them in the tip. So bring cash next time for both of you feel generous. For a car wash this place is pretty great. I'm not sure how they do on a busy day and if they spend the same about of time but on a non busy day it's a win. Note: the self washing bays were reported closed to being under construction. Unlike other carwashes that just gets your money and pushes you into the tunnel, they hand scrub the exterior and rims and everything prior to that. Besides, they towel dry your car inside out, even the door edges that normally trap water. The service is unbeatable!!! Although it's a little bit pricier compare to other carwashes, the equipment is not as sophisticated. But they did a great job cleaning and drying my car, will definitely come back. read more

I had to wait for 6 cars (owned by non-minorities) that arrived AFTER me to get cleaned and attended to BEFORE my car was cleaned and properly attended to. Went in to wash our 67 Mustang. Had just spent 10 minutes with the hoses/brush and proceeded to hand wipe the windscreen. Took all of 3 minutes to wipe and dry the car. In that time, a customer in a truck pulled in behind us to wait for us to finish. The bay to our right was open and the bay to the left was out of service. He got out of his vehicle and rudely told us to move out of the way so he could wash his truck. We told him we were almost done but he proceeded to get the manager. All the manager did was come and tell us to leave. Felt wronged for just wanting to get our car clean. I do not recommend this place considering there are many other options in the area. read more

I enjoyed how friendly everyone was and the decor of the waiting room. The cleaning team did a good job on the exterior and interior, but I did need to do a quick wipe down on the inside afterwards because there were some missed spots. However, overall a great job! This will be my last visit with Dolphin. I purchase #3 includes wax and when I arrived home and looked at my SUV, it doesn't look clean. My rims are dirty. Bird poop still on my hood and dirt spots all around my vehicle. I'm not sure they are using soap or they cut back to save money but charging customers more. I spent $17 for nothing. In think that all the good reviews may be a matter of they've never had a good car wash. They have a decent amount of brushes but not enough suds. Also, the crew wiping the car is lazy and miss a ton of spots (every time). 2 of the 3 times I've been there they didn't do the wheels and tires that I paid an extra $5 for. This may be a lack of communication between the person who takes your money and the people at the end wiping the cars. Anyway, they do a poor job. We moved from Northern Va and I guess we got spoiled. I've tried 2 (Rosemont and Riverside) of the 3 "top rated" car washes 3 times each and no dice, they both suck. I'm going to try the Shell next, otherwise, I'll get it done near work in Gaithersburg or when I'm back in Northern Va. read more

Had not been to this car wash in years and since it is under new ownership, I gave it a try. They did an excellent job, particularly on the carpet floors which were very dirty. Their attention to detail was especially appreciated since it's an older car. My old car now looks new! And my daughter was happy to see free snacks in the nice waiting area. ;-) read more

Don't bother here...they just don't care. No soap in the high power wash cycle in the self serve...they seem to think I am stupid that this is normal. Sorry....no sale. Got my money back at least after insisting and went somewhere else. Went before and for the price for full serve, is about the worst I've seen in years once done. Not for me and live close by. Will pass by and just keep peddling until I find a place that knows what running a business is about. Updating....now every time I go by, the hand wash bays are closed and roped off and twice the auto bay was closed. I am wondering if they went out of business. It was my first time there and a gentleman approached my car while in line to show me their menu of car washes. I commented how I thought that showing me the menu was pretty cool (making pleasant small talk) and then selected the wash that I wanted. He wrote the number of the wash on my windshield and I paid him (in cash) and included a tip as I always do at car washes. He took my money and walked away without saying a word. No "thank you", no "have a nice day", nothing. It was at that moment that I knew I wouldn't be returning. Refused to clean my car because there was some dog hair in it. I told her I wasn't worried about any dog hair, just vacuum up the dirt and clean off my dash, as they (The previous owners) usually did. It doesn't have to be beautiful...but she refused me service! I got the "Number 6" for $30 (SUV) and was very happy with the service. They did a thorough pre-wash (not just a rinse) to get all the bird crap off before entering the tunnel. So many other places just let the machines grind the dirt into your paint. Also did a great job on exterior and interior afterwards, spending quite a bit of time. My car is new and had NO scratches on it before entering the carwash. They're refusing to take responsibility or pay for the repair, which is over $400 to have my entire hood repainted. They have distorted videos and not allowed me to see clear video on their TVs. Be very wary of getting your car washed here. Tried the new car wash. Had the most expensive wash: No. 7. Dead bugs still on the grill and windshield when it was done. Spoke to the manager. She pointed to the sign that said they couldn't guarantee clean bug shields. It wasn't a bug shield. It was the brand new paint and grill on a car less than two months old. She spoke to the workers who cleaned it more throughly the second time around. She pointed the the inside of the car and said it was "Perfect!"
