I was expecting greatness coming here, but I just wasn't that impressed after we left. Sure they give you a lot of food, but the service was not very good on a Sunday morning, and the quality is average to poor. We ordered a single biscuit and gravy, a chicken fried chicken and waffle and a 2 egg plate with sausage, biscuit, 1/2 hash brown 1/2 grits. Our waitress allowed the food to be plated with no grits, so we had to track her down again and ask for those. There is no real butter at this restaurant, you are forced to use the butter/margarine spread in the small packets. The only other thing they can bring you is "melted butter", which I'm guessing may not even be real butter either. CFC was good though, and they give you the whole breast, both sides of the chicken! It extends over the plate, must have been a big bird! Gravy is a little on the bland side. I thought the biscuits were good but nothing magical. If the gravy maybe had sausage in it, then they'd be much better tasting. We asked for eggs over medium. Instead they came out over easy with both the egg whites and yolks very runny. Belgium waffle was good, but not crispy, a little soft and mushy. The waitress also messed up on our check, and overcharged us for an extra biscuit, but we got that corrected. We inquired if their orange juice was fresh squezed, but it wasnt. So we didn't order it....lol Basically, if you're looking for a fattening meal with large portions, and you don't care about quality or sketchy service, this may be your kinda place. read more

As usual their food is great! Portions were awesome! They are practicing social distancing so some of their tables are not available for seating. Staffs are wearing masks. I hope they make sanitizers more available for customer's use like other restaurants. The service we had the other day was a bit weird. We had a lady assist us and she was great but then a guy started serving us. I'm not sure if he was new because he seemed a little confused. He brought out the food and left us to eat but we didn't have any utensils. And then later on he started pouring coffee in my mom's hot chocolate. It was great that he was trying to accommodate us but they should have updated each other if they were going to switch tables. Unless you like waiting a hour for food to come to your table cold this is the place for you. After a hour a jr cheeseburger and side of eggs finally came out for the kids. Burger and fries, cold, eggs, hard and cold. I've gotten hotter food from the McDonald's drive thru. The girl said the 2 orders of wings and waffles were going to take a few more minutes. So we took a chance on Franks grill for brunch due to proximity and some good reviews. When we first got there, we were seated quickly but served snail slow. We knew what we wanted before the waiter came. He took our drink and food order but never returned. It literally took them 25 mins to give us water. This is after we complained to each waiter walking by because we just wanted some water. The waiter was not personable and no had sense of urgency at all. He also was NOT apologetic about the wait. The cashier/ management staff when it came to checking out was friendly, but not as helpful. I received a $5 off coupon for my birthday(as I have the previous years) The cashier was somewhat helpful trying to find the reward. Hi, What a breakfast! I decided to order their chicken fried steak breakfast meal. Huge portions of food the eggs was great, grits were very bland. The fluffy biscuits were sooo good!! The only thing Is that I didnt receive any gravy with my steak. Chicken fried steak is an automatic Assumption that it comes with gravy. So when I called to state that I failed to receive my gravy the phone rep" stated it's upon request. So to my dismay I had to get back in my car and drive back the location to pick up my Gravy. No one apologized, it was basically "oh well" in my acknowledgment for my inconvenience. Before moving from the area, we visited Frank's every Sunday morning for breakfast. They have some of the best omelettes we've ever eaten, each coming with hash browns and a fantastic biscuit. Been coming to this place for the longest. Today I come in and no napkins on the table. When my silverware is brought out to me I like to take the napkin and fold it so I don't place the spoon from mixing my coffee directly on the sticky surface of the table. I asked and was told that due to the economy they are no longer placing napkins on the tables or bar. I mean this is part of trying to be clean and sanitary. Come to find out same thing in The bathroom. No paper products.employees with long hair behind the food serving line with no hair net. Unsanitary. So if you decide to eat here bring every paper product you may need. I wonder what the health department would have to say about this. The waiter just came back and said that if I don't want to eat here the manager said it would be ok. So they are aware they are going out of business. Terrible service. I really wanted to like it here, fail! First, the smell of sewer as soon as you walk in is too much! My husband had eggs, hash browns, bacon (when he asked for sausage), and a biscuit. The hash browns were just a pile of mush that needed about a gallon of ketchup, salt, and pepper to have any flavor. I had the fried pork chops with eggs and hash browns. My pork chops were sitting in a plate of oil and dripping. The biscuits were tasteless and I won't even comment on the French toast. Overall we paid $35 and left hungry. We won't be back. Oh, and by the way, one server was extremely rude to one of the bus boys because he accidentally bumped into her. I saw the whole thing. The service wasn't great, we had to wait too long to place our orders and shortly after placing them a group was sat behind us with a different server and we heard that server telling those customers about the breakfast special. We were not made aware of a special and after hearing it would have likely ordered it. We both ordered the chicken fried chicken breakfast that comes with eggs, grits or hash browns, and toast or a biscuit. My parter got hash browns that were "ok" and I had grits that were not good. It's nice to have another breakfast/lunch place to choose from! My boyfriend and I visited this past weekend around brunchtime; the place was packed! The food smelled great and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. The diner features a large seating area and counter lined with barstools. The menu looked great! So many breakfast selections: chicken and waffles, a variety of omelets cooked to order and a daily special featuring home-cooked veggies and sides. I opted for the PORK CHOPS and EGGS over medium. My boyfriend ordered a southwestern omelet. We waited a longer than usual period because of how busy they were, which was understandable. The waitress was very attentive and sweet. She explained the situation nd came back to check on us several times. We didn't mind, enjoyed a couple of cups of coffee and great conversation! My pork chops were very flavorful, yet a bit on the dry side. The grits were yummy and the BISCUIT--O.M.G. It was humongous and super fluffy- I wish my biscuit had been warm though! Should've taken a picture of it!! All in all, the place has a friendly atmosphere, much better than the Denny's or IHOP anyday! It states one thing online then when u get there your order is double the price that is stated online.
