My husband and I went here on a Friday night. The place was EMPTY! 2-3 tables occupied at most. We got seated and proceeded to wait 30 mins before we ended up walking out. There was an employee at the bar in our direct view who had seen us sit down and wait. No acknowledgment. Servers also came in and out of the back and to the bar doing nothing- no one brought us water or acknowledged us. I love this restaurant. It is my favorite Italian restaurant. I've been going here for 10 years. I was just there this past weekend for my birthday and had the best eggplant parmigiana since my Grandmother's. So, I am torn about posting this review. But, I felt I must. I have ordered their pizza before and it was great. I ordered a large pizza for pickup on their website yesterday though, and was so disappointed in it. The crust was cracker thin and burnt all the way around the edges. I couldn't even hold it to eat without the "crust" breaking off cause it was burned. Nothing like I've ordered before. After having my mouth all set for the best pizza around, I got this. So disappointed. Not sure if I would ever order their pizza again, sadly. It is so absolutely ridiculous you can't get an online refund if they mess up your order for pickup. I placed an order online and picked it up on a Saturday night and when I get home and untie the bag they left out (or didn't see as they said on the phone????) a $15 salmon. We called and asked if they could give a refund back to the card but they only offered to make it right then so we could pick it up or a credit for next time we eat there. (Never again) we were finally offered a refund but only cash and we had to go pick it up. It is 2024 and the fact that I had to waste my time to get my money back and drive all the way back there because you can't do an online refund is ridiculous. The food was mid and if you want Italian it is not better than Vince's on Jefferson or Trattoria Toscana by the promenade mall in Temecula. I hope they figure out how to use modern technology or stop scamming customers or maybe people would come back because I didn't see anybody in there on a Saturday and Sunday night when I was there!!!!! Wonderful authentic Italian restaurant. Just like the other good Italian restaurant in town, Gourmet Italia, the staff here also speak Italian and the food is authentic. In comparison, Francesca's is not as noisy and the kitchen is much faster. So overall the vibe is different but the service, quality of the food, and price are on the same level. We had the Veal rib chop and meatballs with linguini. The other couple had caprese salad, lasagna, and chicken piccata. Everyone shared the bruschetta and the fresh bread. I was super shocked to find such a yummy place randomly in Temecula right off the freeway. I didn't know what to expect, but from start to finish I was pleasantly surprised. Upon entering there wasn't a formal host, the bar tender seated our group of 4 at a booth. The waitress came out with complimentary bread and skinny breadsticks, wow I was really impressed! Honestly, some of the best tasting bread and sticks I've had. The breadsticks were really thin and crunchy with a garlic/buttery taste, super yummy. The bread was not the typical pull apart bread, it looked as if it was cooked in a big pan and sliced into squares, and was easy to bite into. Oil and vinegar already on the table. calamari: a little chewy, but good. Breading was good. Marinara sauce on the side is not very thick, which could be good or bad depending on your preference. I waasn't able to spot the lobster ravioli on the menu, but saw on yelp that it was a popular item, so I asked and they had it! Lobster ravioli: cooked to perfection, plenty of lobster inside the ravioli. The sauce was more of a pink/orange sauce. The sauce was not thick at all, it paired perfectly with the pasta. Pepperoni pizza: I don't know what they do with the bread here, but it's so good. Loved the pizza crust. I would say size wise, it's bigger than a personal, smaller than a medium, so like a shmedium lol. If you don't have a big appetite, you'll take a couple slices home. I personally am not a fan of too much pizza sauce on a pizza, and they did not put much on it, which I loved. But if you are, I guess you could request "heavy on the sauce". The cheese and pepperoni, were also very good, you can tell this place uses high quality ingredients in pretty much everything. Service was also very good, no complaints for this place! read more

We had massimo as our server and he went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. I am beyond impressed. And not to mention the quality of the food. I had the ravioli which wasn't too rich. It was perfect. My husband had the lasagne which was gone in the blink of an eye and is one of there best sellers. And my father in law had the penne with chicken which was light and excellent. For desert we had cheesecake, which is easily one of the best cheesecakes we have collectively ever had and had a beautiful presentation. Hazel and I needed to get out of the house and I wanted to eat something good. I lived down the street from here and have never tried it until today and we really liked it! The pizza was amazing w so much yummy cheese! We had people waiting on their dominos pizza staring as we pulled a slice and all that cheese was wow! And the bread was so hot and cheesy, we couldn't stop munching on that!
