As a professional mural company, we recently needed an original canvas painting stretched and framed for delivery to a location four hours away within two weeks. We found Framing Solutions on Yelp and were impressed by their 5-star rating and reasonable quote compared to other businesses. I spoke with David and Jose and cannot say enough about their customer service. Both were so personable and friendly, and their professionalism was top-of-the-line. Jose called to update me on the status as the non-negotiable deadline approached. He said they ran into a small hurdle but assured me we could still pick it up on time. When we finally picked up the canvas, they went above and beyond loading and securing it in our rented van. Unsurprisingly, they have all 5-star reviews. They treat their clients' art with care, and their customers like friends. We plan to use Framing Solutions for future projects and see no reason to look elsewhere in LA. Thank you, Jose and David--Hattas Studios. read more

These guys are really good. I've been back twice now and they always pay close attention to detail and help find a framing option that looks great. I didn't feel like I was being ripped off like at some other local options. read more

Framing Solutions is amazing! I have been coming here for the past year plus to get artwork framed, have some custom mats done, wiring put on, prints cropped. Jose always does an incredible job with not only the finished product, but helping me to choose what types of colors would be complimentary for each piece, the right spacing in between art/mat/frame, and is really such a pleasure to interact with- patient, knowledgable and has a great eye for detail. Their pricing is very reasonable for the high quality work that they do. I would absolutely recommend this business to anyone, they are true professionals and an asset to the community! read more

José at Framing Solutions was beyond helpful and professional. I had a large work on paper that needed to be un-framed, which was something I'd never needed done before and had no idea if it was even possible. I was also on a major time crunch and needed a FedEx pickup coordinated from Framing Solutions. José got the job done perfectly within half a day and set my mind at ease that the work was going to be okay after being taken out of its frame. He was communicative and professional every step of the way. Highly recommend!! read more

The procrastinator in me rules my life. So of course, I was a week out from my wedding and had to put the finishing touches on my guest book. We had one of those thumbprint guest books that needed to be framed so it wouldn't curl up while our friends and family added their print sprinkles to our donut. I didn't know how much this would cost, so I called a few shops to discuss pricing and timetables, and Jose told me everything I wanted to hear. After a short conversation, I drove down to Framing Solutions to drop off my guest book. He showed me a few choices for frame options that would speed up the process since they had the frame in-store. Jose delivered ahead of schedule, and did an AMAZING job. He made the whole process stress-free and super smooth; it was exactly what I needed amidst all the chaotic wedding planning. If I ever need anything framed, this is my spot. read more

Great shop and even greater owners to go along with it! I currently have one piece from the shop that I am absolutely in love with and am in the process of bringing more pieces their way. Jose and David are such a pleasure to work with and they really know their stuff. I would definitely recommend anyone to this shop who needs quality and affordable framing. The shop itself is in a great area and has a really nice ambiance and vibe. It's also fun to see what art they have up in the shop every time I stop by. Lots of cool artists with interesting work to get exposed to. read more

Best framing shop. Pricing is amazing for custom hand-done framing work. I've gotten many custom frames before, but have never received better service and build. The quality of the frames, matting, and hanging adds are top notch. The people that work there also have a great eye for what to set you up with. read more

My photograph was chosen to be displayed at an art show and I only had one day to have it framed. I drove around, called around and even went to Ikea! I couldnt find anything suited for my piece and to top it off, all the framing stores were starting to close! I called Framing Solutions 5 minutes before closing time and Jose came through! He waited for me to come, showed me my options and was super patient with my indecisiveness! He was able to frame my photograph within the hour I got to display my art. My new go to spot for framing! read more

I had a blank wall in my office that needed to be filled, so I had David and Jose frame an old band poster I had rolled up in my closet from back in college. I let them use their creativity to come up with a design that they felt matched the artwork, and they did an awesome job! I'm very happy with the piece. It filled the space up perfectly and added a nice touch to my office. I've only had it up for a couple of days, but have already gotten a ton of compliments. I highly recommend Framing Solutions! read more

These guys did a fantastic job framing my husband and I's ketubah. The end result came out beautifully. I would highly recommend this store for all your framing needs. read more

These guys are rockstars. I'm so picky and this family owned and operated shop nailed it the first go. I went to so many other framing places to get a custom shadow box made and everywhere I went quoted me insane amounts. These brothers worked with me on a price that was reasonable without jeopardizing quality. The shop itself feels like a hipster loft in the arts district and hails a professional/welcoming vibe. The final product was produced well beyond my expectations! This print was originally on a cheap acrylic Walmart frame for 11 years. I was lucky that the autographs did not fade or stick to the clear acrylic. I was recommended this establishment by a family friend and within a few days I was already given mock ups with multiple choices in colors and framing. This poster was originally held unframed and rolled up during an entire concert in the crowd and right up front, so there are some small imperfections originally and I cut the edges with scissors to fit into the original frame, so this was definitely a project from the start. It was cut and resized to a very palatable format for me as well. Dimensions on point. I will be bringing the rest of my posters for framing going forward. My autographs will last a lifetime now thanks to the UV protected glass. Thanks Framing Solutions! read more

Jose and his brother, David, are immaculate professional artisans. It is great doing business with skilled people who are passionate about their craft. Cool atmosphere. The place feels worked in, it feels like a place you've been before, but most inspiring is the confidence you feel in knowing you've left things dear to you in the hands of people that will take care of them. I walked in after a run and mentioned to David and Jose that I've been thinking about framing my degrees. I shared my idea with them and they were able and willing to work with me through the process of choosing color, size, matting, and grain. They were able to make each piece individual but still maintained a visible thread amongst the work. What they showed me looks very promising and I can't wait to pick the up. read more

Jose and his team we incredibly professional and made a project that was overwhelming and tedious, enjoyable, and in the end beautiful. Their work is great, prompt, and high quality. It is hard to find a good framing shop -- they are often overpriced and either snobby or don't know what they're doing. Framing Solutions is the frame shop I've always hoped for. Reasonable (but not dirt cheap) prices, excellent work, and David and Jose are very good at helping pick out the right frame for the artwork. They reframed a 50 year old print that was in a falling apart frame, and did so with care and grace. It now looks much more modern and fantastic in my home. read more

I have never experienced such care and attention to detail for preserving a piece of art. That is precisely what you experience at framing solutions. I've gone to the retail chain places that are precisely that; RETAIL. They offer you the "best" mats for your art for an arm and a leg hoping you'll end up getting candy on your way to the register. Not here. The guys here are artists they know what it's like to be creative and then have to pay to have your art properly displayed. Which is why their suggestions are always honest and with your best interest in mind. I don't see myself going anywhere else for my framing needs you shouldn't either. read more

I had such a great experience at Framing Solutions. I am not one to ever write yelp reviews, and they didn't even ask me to like some places do but I find myself constantly referring people and I genuinely mean it when I say they are the BEST. I randomly had to get something framed and stumbled upon this place by luck. I am not an artistic person AT ALL and Jose was so patient, honest and had great design ideas! He made the whole process so easy and fun. He stayed within my budget and was so nice about the whole thing.
