So the print I sent here the place was definitely ruined. They a shotty job. I removed the frame to reframe and sure enough they use ATG double sided tape on the paper print as well as plain masking tape which is not archival. I would say he ruined the expensive print. The tape was under the matt and glued to the print. My recommendation is if you have something expensive do not use this place read more

This place is great! Run by a lovely husband and wife who were so sweet and helpful in selecting frames for two pieces I brought in. Reasonably priced too for custom framing. Will definitely come again in the future. read more

Love their work, prices are great, and very friendly people! I go to their shop all the time to get my frames done. Every time I bring my art work they recommend and pick the perfect ones that would look great in my house. They have all kinds of frames from Classic all the way to Modern style. My Families and friends who comes to my house always asks where I got my frames done, so I recommended them to go to this place and they love it too! They make the art work super nice. I would highly recommend anyone to this place!! read more

The best framers in LA. They are a incredibly nice Korean couple that values their customers . I've been coming here for years and they always greet me with a hug and a smile. Fair pricing, about 4-5 day turnaround time. And just all around the best. I will never go anywhere else for framing. Thanks so much!! read more

Bring your art here if you want it destroyed. Poor glue job ruined my painting. Do not take anything of value here. read more

Got my 36" x 25" poster framed here today and they did a great job! I originally came in to get a black frame and the owner suggested a silver/ charcoal frame instead, which turned out looking much better. It was done in 1 hour and cost me $85. The owners were friendly! I will be coming back when I have other framing needs. read more

This is the WORST framing service. Only bring your items to get framed here if your pieces are worthless and you don't care about them. They ruined my $800 closed edition print. They used the dry mounting method which renders a piece of artwork worthless. This process can not be reversed. I even had a discussion with the owner on why dry mounting would NOT be the appropriate method for an $800 print such as mine. I reiterated these instructions to them and even made sure she wrote those instructions down on the work order. On top of that, they framed the artwork in a plastic frame even though I ordered wood. The lack of care and experience this business has shows they should be shut down. They do NOT have the appropriate funds or insurance to guarantee work or pay for damages. Small court claim will be pursued. TL;DR: DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. THEY WILL RUIN YOUR ART AND EVEN IF THEY DON'T, IT ISN'T WORTH THE RISK. read more

A little hard to find this place. I parked on the street and walk through the back (through the warehouse area) and straight to the front desk. The lady, who I assume is the owner, was very friendly and helpful. She suggested the right frame and glass that would be best for my print and budget. I ended up going with a thin black (plastic) frame, did not dry mount (as per her recommendation, so it's easier to roll up and sell/not ruin the signature in the back), and acrylic on top. It was ready the next day! My total was $90 (print is 24x36). It would have cost me $200 to have it framed from the photographer- granted though I don't know what type of frame he would have used! In hindsight I wish I had dry mounted it because there are some wrinkles on the print from when it was rolled up and shipped. But I trust her judgement that that was probably the better call for later? Anyways, was very happy with the price and service. Would recommend! read more

I got a custom size print framed here and they did a good job for a pretty reasonable price so no complaints! I'll definitely come back if I have any custom framing needs in the future. You gotta love the Korean mom and pop shops. Cash only. They require a deposit but the amount is negotiable. read more

Kaju Art & Frames - Custom frame and matte for 25x50 cm print - $45 - Framing Near Me - Los Angeles, California

They ruined my expensive print! I framed a national treasure's wood print piece here years and years ago. I decided to change the frame. Guess what? They glue the entire painting to the cardboard and destroyed it. you have no idea, how i am feeling right now. Never take your expansive fine arts here. They are not artists. They don't understand the value of your art. My piece values at least $5000 now. Do not go here. I can't believe they called "ART & frames". I am having a horrible day. read more

Just finally visited this place last week (after being referred by the owner of Top's Art Supplies over a year ago), and I've already had 5 different things framed! On my first visit, I dropped off 4 pieces on Monday (that I needed by Thursday), and they were finished by Wednesday. I'm pretty simple with my framing requirements, and they easily satiated my needs. If I went to one of the chain art stores (Mikey's, Erin Bros.) I would have spent at least double what I spent here. The owners are super friendly, and can have something done by the next business day if you ask them nicely. I can't remember her name (I assume it's a husband and wife running the joint), but she told me that if I wanted a job done more quickly, that I should go during the week, as Fridays and Saturdays are busier than the rest of the week. They also get bonus points because I saw a *HUGE* KAWS canvas chillin' in their showroom. I will be coming here for all my framing needs from now on!! read more

Clearly not even worth a star. I brought in a autographed jersey to frame and showed her a picture how I wanted it. She said no problem they do frames for a Korean bank which always makes frame for the 2 Korean MLB players ( Ryu and Choo). 2 weeks later I came in to pick up my frame and it wasn't even close to what I showed her. Also the frame wasn't even straight, it was uneven I couldn't even put it on my wall. instead of admitting the mistake she kept telling me it's maybe only 1/4" to 1/2" uneven and she'll show me after it's opened up and re do it. I said no thanks cause I will never take anything back to let them work on. read more

Price might be decent and they are very nice people but they are extremely unorganized. Left a 20x30 to be framed and scheduled to be delivered a week later as a gift to be handed before a trip. Got to the shop at the end of the scheduled day, and the art was still in the protective board I left it in. No frame. No call to let me know. Got my deposit back. read more

I received the best customer service from this super sweet couple. They took care of my needs & the turnaround time was super quick. The prices were pretty affordable so I will most likely return with my next pieces of art. read more

Had two paintings that I absolutely treasure (painted by my father) that needed to be framed. Wanted to avoid getting absolutely hosed on price - usually the case for custom framing. My father's friends (also artists) actually recommended this place so I knew I'd be able to trust them. Kaju did an AMAZING job and I was so pleased, I'm already a repeat customer. read more

Great Experience! Had a very important piece of work that I absolutely treasure well taken care of and the framing was done very quickly with complete care. Reasonable pricing and great overall service. Thank you so much! Looking forward to seeing you guys soon! read more

Do not go there unless you know Korean language or you have a translator with you. Their English level is very low, it is really really hard to make even simple communication. They used "dry mounting" method on my 44/100 limited art poster without telling me. They stuck it on a board which was a horrible surprise for me. Just stay away. read more

Exceptional service for great prices. What else could you ask for? This husband and wife team mounted two original pieces for me faster than expected and they handled them with care and respect. I'm even having people out of town send work in to get done at this frame shop. I highly recommend this store. read more

I can't get them to respond to me. They've had my painting for 3 weeks and won't tell me when it'll be done or how much it will cost...?

Awesome and quick job on framing a custom piece of mine and very friendly staff. Great prices also!

Quick, friendly service at a reasonable price. I needed 9 large photographs dry mounted, and got same day service, no problem. The work was exactly as ordered, no surprises. I'll be back! read more

I had an oversized painting framed there for a fraction of the price as it would have cost me at one of the better know chain stores. Quality was top notch! read more

Owner here took extra steps to make sure my client was happy. I was commission to do couple large pieces and she actually made a trip to meet my client to understand what they wanted in terms of material, styling choices. The owner is also an artist and you can trust her recommendation if you are not sure about what you want. Parking is great always street parking is available. This place has been around for couple decades (maybe more) and built up a good reputation among korean artists. Come here if you want your art work to be well taken care of. read more

Excellent experience. Prices were very reasonable and the quality was high. Best part was Mrs. Kim - she was so incredibly kind and helpful. Couldn't have been a better experience. read more

This is an expert place for specialty framing. It's not cheap, but definitely worth it.

I love this store ran by a husband and wife team. I just picked up my engagement photos that were recently framed for my wedding day and it came out perfect! I can now have my engagement photos forever framed and ready to hang in my future home. They have a large selection of frames and they are very helpful. I will definitely tell all my friends and I will be back once I have my wedding pics. What's the best thing? The cost is only about half of what Michael's would charge for their custom framing (even with their 70% off coupon). The price cannot be beat! Definitely go here! And parking is also a breeze in front of the store. read more

Soooooo after a second dose of carelessness this time on behalf of UPS (Insert Face Palm) I had to yet again get a very important plaque re framed (Lord Take The Wheel Lol). After some searching I came across this place. I took a trip down to their shop to see if there was anyway they could help me. Upon entering I meet a very nice guy, and he asked to see my broken plaque and what I needed done. He does not talk much, maybe because of a language barrier but I have Asian background so understanding him was not hard for me, he did let me know the lady would be back any moment to be able to help me further. Shortly after the lady enter with 2 of her friends I suspect. She dove right into asking what I wanted to do and giving me options. She suggested the box style frame with acrylic because its thicker and more protective with a silver border frame, which I did not think of because the broken frame was black. She laid everything out so I could get an idea of how it would look, and based on that and her suggestion plus the nods of her 2 friends I went with that Lol. She told me she could have it done by the sametime the next day (Around 5pm) which I was blown away by, and so were her friends Lol. It was such a joy dealing with her + her 2 friends, they reminded me of my aunties. They were telling me how beautiful I was and asking if I was married and who the plaque was for LOL...I got a kick out of them. They were super sweet and funny. I went ahead and set up for pick up the following day which was a Friday I believe. I showed up the next day around the agreed upon time and was informed it would take about another 20mins which was fine. I took a stroll around the store and the lady told me I could have a seat near the back. After a short wait the quite guy called me over & shower me the finished plaque before he finalized everything. (O_o) OMG THANK THE LORD, IT WAS BEAUTIFUL, FLAWLESS, PERFECT, It looked more amazing then I could have hoped. He finished everything up after my ok and handed me my plaque. THEY ARE AMAZING!! And it was finished right on time. I was finally able to give the gift that same night and HE LOVED IT, especially with the silver frame and box style every detail he LOVED. I'M SO HAPPY, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HUSBAND & WIFE TEAM FOR ALL YOUR FRAMING NEEDS. read more

Kaju Frames were great people who received my prints and turn around was quick. It helps to know a little Korean but the owners try really hard to explain in English what frame will work best and why. They quoted 5 days for completion but it was done in 3 days. I had 14 prints framed, broken up by 2 different trips. I plan to have another trip for 8 more prints soon. Prices were really cheap compared to other framers, with the amount I had, too. Street parking is a pain after 3PM since the curb in front of the store becomes no parking. read more

Amazing service; great eye for detail; and the prices cannot be beat. I've had several items framed there now, and have probably saved over $500 by going to Kaju instead of a larger chain. read more
