I never feel compelled to write reviews, but Framing Gallery is worth taking the time to write a 5star review for. Zohar is absolutely amazing and is super friendly. He reframed a large picture for my husband and when we went to pick it up, I couldntBelieve how much more beautiful it was than the original frame job. Because of how beautiful it was, how friendly Zohar was, and how pleasant he was to do business with, I returned 2 days later to have a poster framed. I needed it framed that same day, but he was only open for a few more hours, but he still got it done! He went way above and beyond to accommodate a request most framing/picture stores would scoff at. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's also worth mentioning that his family owns and operates West Knoll Pharmacy, which is just a few doors down, and they are all just as friendly, helpful, and amazing as Zohar is at Framing Gallery. read more

I was driving by this shop and thought instead of going to one of those large chains, let give our neighbourhood shop a go. Not only was Zohar super friendly and knowledgeable, he gave me a very competitive price and I was happy. However, when I mentioned it was for a donation, he did something I did not expect - he did the framing for nothing. The shop is petite, but has MANY has various frames to choose from, they do the framing in store, they are quick and seem to be extremely flexible with timing. We wil be back to get some family pictures framed soon. read more

Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I almost left after I was kept waiting behind a customer for half an hour. I work full time so I'm only available on weekends, and when I came to pick up my frame a week later, the store was closed at 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon. After my voice mail wasn't returned, I called back again and the ONE guy in the shop took a lunch break but didn't bother to put a "back soon" sign on the door. Then the following weekend, they were randomly closed for a 3-day weekend. No apologies or notice, even after the clerk said the shop would be open that very weekend. A month after I dropped off my frame, I went to pick it up...and they couldn't fit the frame in my car, a sedan. They don't offer delivery, either, so now I have to wait TWO WEEKS to go to the shop with a van. That's six weeks. SIX WEEKS! STAY AWAY. read more

i phoned zohar to let him know that my elderly husband and I lost our home in the WOOLSEY FIRE. My husband now approaching 80, someti. mes gets confused, and brought items to be placed in large frames. Unfortunately since we still unsettled, and moving hotel rooms, with not even an estimate of when our house will be reconstructed and livable, it made no sense to have these large bulky frames made while moving often and still living out of suitcases. furtpppher, my husband and I discussed, since our house is being gutted perhaps we would have the interior designer design lighted built in units to display his items in more artful and creative way than huge black frames. my husband, forgot the conservation and brought the items to be framed to zohar. the next when i discovered th $2000 downpayment charged to our credit card; i phoned zohar to explain the situation and my husband went to pick up the metals.Zohar told my husband that I was very controlling, and that I accused him of numerous crimes and that I am terrible rude woman who is extorting money from not only my husband but Zohar. Zohar, clearly is guilty of taking advantage of a naive and vulnerable elderly gentleman and has refused to give estimates for work, and lied about refunding money and caused quite a bit of upset between me and my husband. I do caution, watch out as its clear that Mr. Zohar is out to prey on vulnerable and charge egregious amounts of money for frankly, ulgy bukly subpar work. HE has been reported to the authorities. use extreme caution in patronizing this business if you must...overpriced and zero artistic talent suitable . Very damaging and seems to have no boundaries including interfering in the marriage of a husband and wife, where wife is becoming primary caretaker of aging husband; not only immoral, but seemingly illegal as report is now on file with police. read more

I'm so glad I didn't go to the big named stores as there is something to be said for personalize service by the owner. I wanted something framed that I had bought from the Fairfax Flea Market. The owner transformed it into something that looked like it should be hanging in a gallery. He is also an artist and has some his own beautiful work on display.
