My kids and I traveled during the summer and when I returned I find out that cube smart has auctioned ALL our belongings and said that we don't have a storage unit there anymore. This was because one credit card payment did not go through. Keeping in mind that it's an open limit credit card and I was using it while overseas. They said they tried to contact us but we did not get any notification. No letter no email no voice mail. All of my kids' memories from the hospital are gone, all their premature clothes and belongings are gone. I had a huge display cabinet filled with expensive picture frames and our wedding pictures and others, all gone. I'm in tears and can't believe this. There are large gaps between the doors and the ground, but that can be fixed with some plastic wrap if you're super concerned about it.
