The person at the bar was extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. The two sandwiches came up to $40ish. I brought the sandwiches home and first tried a few bites of the Fancy Pants Sando. I will have to say it was the better of the two sandwiches. I appreciated the goat cheese in the sandwich and the mix of different ingredients, but it was not something I would consider to be a great sandwich, at least not for me. Others might find it pleasant, but I did not care for it much. The fig sandwich was the one I was more excited about and expected some sweetness to be cut down by the bacon. I don't think it was a perfect balance between the two, and I got a tad much of the overwhelming sweetness of the figs in this sandwich. Again, others might enjoy it, but I didn't care for it. The food was incredible--seriously, a 10 out of 10--so I highly recommend visiting just for that. They also have a drive-through option where a lot of people bring furry friend to get a treat. The kittens do cost $200, which is good to know upfront. That said, the adoption process is very slow. Because it's off-season (winter) they have limited cats, and the website wasn't very functional. They open their books for a reservations the week of and they book up pretty fast. They do have walk-in visits Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays for around $5, it's four people at a time and it's first come first serve for those visits. Same-day adoptions aren't possible; you need an appointment. If you're looking to adopt quickly, I'd suggest trying somewhere else--like Petsmart, where we found a beautiful kitten and adopted the same day. The process was seamless and so easy. Still, I'll definitely be back for the food and to support them with donations--just be prepared for a longer adoption timeline.
