    Dolly omelette

Maddie's Corner Cafe is legit. I don't normally like pancakes but theirs are so good. They have this amazing butter syrup that is so good! I also had the dolly's omelette and it was so delicious. Their hollandaise sauce has to be from scratch. My husband had French toast and also loved it. 10/10. Will 100% be back.

Country style bene ($16) and bene burger ($17)

Just your average brunch fare in a cozy diner with friendly staff. Nothing bad, but nothing to write home about. The country style bene with cottage cheese and tomatoes was as expected and the bene burger was fun but quite messy haha lots of yummy but slippery ingredients in that one. The intimate spacing could make for a cute date spot!

Chicken Fried Steak with scrambled eggs, hash browns and toast. Extra crispy Bacon (as requested) and eggs over medium with sourdough toast!

We had the best breakfast! HUGE Chicken Fried Steak, that tasted so good! My wife had Bacon and Eggs and everything was cooked exactly as she asked. The service was top notch and the cafe is so cute! Highly recommend!

I started with a latte and found that they use some amazing coffee full of flavor. I was a little worried about GF (not usually my favorite) but the waffles were perfect. I had the sampler which is right up my alley, getting to try a bite of everything. Enjoyed 4/5 of the flavors! Really cute interior, convenient location to downtown activity. Time from entering the restaurant to food on the table was an hour, seems a little crazy for a waffle + topping situation. I think I'd almost prefer this as order at the counter and stream line the service time given waffles are casual. Inside was really loud even though it wasn't packed. My latte listed on menu for $6 was $7.50 and mimosa listed at $11 was $14... not sure if we missed something there? Was hungry pretty soon after, sampler really isn't enough for a meal. Would I go again? Sure! Overall, a fun treat.

There are also warm food options to order. The staff was friendly and upbeat and answered my questions about the baked goods and food. I selected the ginger crinkle and was not disappointed. It was so flavorful and rich with real ginger you could see. I came back the next day for another one. There is street parking but it can be limited when times are busy. There is space to sit and enjoy your food. And there are some neat shops to check out nearby. Highly recommend!

The quality of ingredients tasted really fresh and thoughtful, and they have a surprisingly wide variety of nutritious options. I don't have a chance to try it, but their selection of savory entree plates were very impressive (see my photos pleaseeee), and they also serve delicious soup as well. But the highlight was their baked goods, 100% gluten free at a very reasonable price for the portion and quality. This place is inside Saranac Commons, very pretty and is a good place to slow down for lunch or coffee. Staff were kind, attentive, and happy to answer questions about the menu. Definitely a place I'd come back to whenever I'm in Spokane.

I decided to try the ube latte with regular espresso and a pandan latte with white coffee. I got them both with oat milk. I was worried these would be too sweet but it actually was perfectly sweet and the flavors balanced out really well. The flavors are unique, I just wish there was more ice, which I will ask for next time. I saw they had ube crepes, but when we went they didn't have it and onto had ube croffles, so I decided to try that. We also wanted to try the chicken melt crepe. I really enjoyed the croffle, it had a delicious chocolate flavor but wish it had more ube flavor as it was very faint. The chicken melt crepe was okay, but not my favorite. I feel the lemon didn't match, and it was inconsistently seasoned. Some parts were extremely salty, while others were not salted at all. It was nice to try but I'd try something else next time. Overall I would return again, but I'd try a different crepe and hoping they have ube crepes next time I visit.

When I tried Spokane location, I honestly didn't expect a chain restaurant to be this good. The place was not so busy, so food was quick, friendly staff. Very savory, creamy and rich, combining with runny egg yolk, beautifully!!! Portions are big, definitely filling. I couldn't finish my portion. Overall very solid comfort breakfast, simple but done right. Would come back again when in Spokane especially for weekend breakfast cravings too.

We told the server it tasted burnt & old so she offered to make a fresh pot. It was just as bad, when she asked we said it was still really yucky and she said that a lot of people don't care for it. I ordered the tamale waffle. The beef was great, eggs were a bit overcooked but no biggie, the waffle was really hard and dry. It needs some sort of crema sauce or something. It wasn't horrible by any stretch but it wasn't great either. My mom got the veggie breakfast burrito and she liked the veggies though it was bland, felt like it could have had more sour cream & cheese. It was massive and came with a side. The added 16% service fee is some real BS. It says on the receipt that it's split between the server & the kitchen staff. Call me old fashioned but I thought it was on the restaurant to pay their staff a living wage. At $18 a breakfast plate & $4 for drip coffee you should be able to pay your staff. And then we're supposed to tip on top of that? Nope.
