Bacon French toast, banana foster waffle, and waffle with one egg and bacon.

What a great "mom and pop" place. Food is fresh and served hot. Service was top notch. The restaurant was perfect, clean and cozy. You know you are in a locals place when a group of regular "old timers are eating at the bar. This is a can't miss in the heart of Spokane. Perfect last meal before leaving town.

It's been awhile since we've been to waffle Plus a good 10 years actually. So we decided to give it a try again. We went during the week for breakfast and so it wasn't super busy but still busy. The food was great. The ambience was the same and we highly recommend it to others. I really like their waffles because they are not too soft not too hard.

We haven't been here since they switched owners and it was time to give them a try. It's nice that they are also open for supper now. We were offered any seat in the house and chose a booth away from the front door. Drinks were brought quickly and our breakfast for supper order was taken. It did take quite a bit of time for the meal to come out (30+ min) but ultimately it was worth the wait. Both omelette's were very tasty and the waffle side I'm told was excellent. My side of biscuits and gravy was also very good. A soda and two omelettes set us back around $40+ tip. The place was nice and clean with Halloween decorations in place. The owner and server were also nice and apologized for the long wait.

Just discovered a couple of months ago that Waffles Plus is open for dinner. Been there for fabulous breakfasts, so, was anxious to try dinner. I'm definitely not a vegetarian but eggplant is one of my favorite vegetables. The Miso Glazed Eggplant sounded intriguing! Told the owner I better try it before it disappears from the menu since it's not usually very popular. It did not disappoint!!! Two nice eggplant slices (lengthwise), buried under perfectly sautéed Brussels sprouts, mushrooms & rainbow carrots and extremely tasty well seasoned rice. I didn't really notice the butternut squash purée but didn't miss it either. A really nice surprise was the Senior, Kids & Light Meals section. Great selection and variety of breakfast, lunch & dinner items. My friend had the Beef Pot Roast over mashed potatoes, served with a nice soft dinner roll. Very delicious and tender beef roast with a savory gravy. She said it was absolutely delicious! The menu makes my mouth water! There are so many different choices with the majority under $20. I'm definitely going back!

Service was friendly and considerate. A+ Ambiance was traditional diner vibes, we loved it. A+ Waffles were FANTASTIC -- I still dream about them. A+ Tea was good enough I took a picture of the bag to get some for my house. A Biscuits and gravy were average. C Partner and I were out looking for furniture and we saw this place. After a long day of walking through seemingly endless furniture displays and sitting in fake dining rooms, we were famished. This place definitely hit the spot.

Venerable breakfast professionals. On all my visits over the years I've never ever considered getting any of their lunch options, because breakfast is such a solid bet. I'd venture to say that is probably the opinion of many others, as well. Most of their products are FSA/Sysco pre-fab, but it's all just so hearty and satisfying that it really doesn't matter to me. I generally don't eat a big breakfast, but when I do--dining out--I want it basic and not 'elevated' to a 'chef inspired' creation. And, I want to be so darned full after the experience that I don't eat again until next Tuesday...

I was served chunky almond milk. How did she miss that when she poured it into the carafe? The server was apologetic. The eggs Benedict was pretty good. The general atmosphere felt kinda rundown. Where we sat, the vinyl booths were cracked and ripped. Probably wouldn't go back.

The inside as shown in my picture is very charming and old timey. Allow time to wait for a table unless you are just one or two like I was and able to grab a seat at the bar. I was able to sit immediately. The staff is very amiable and the hostess made the recommendation that I try the Caprese Benedict, which had fried tomatoes in place of bread, fresh basil and blood orange balsamic drizzle. They offer the option of one or two Benedict, which is nice if you aren't super hungry. They also give the option to smother the hashbrowns and cheese, which I obviously opted into. The menu is absolutely massive though, so if Benedict's or even breakfast aren't your jam, you should be able to find something that suits your fancy. Also worth noting that they offer a very wide variety of gourmet flavors of house-made juices (7 or 8) for mimosas, like honeydew melon mint which I tried as a soda with soda water since I was driving.

It looked like they were using olives to try to cover up how the dish actually looked, which was mushy and gross. Somehow it tasted worse than it looked. The BLT had scant bacon, tons of lettuce, a few pink flavorless tomato slices and tons of bread. It fell completely apart due to not enough mayo. All I tasted was dry day old bread. The waitress kept leaning over a booth wall and across me, to present things instead of walking around a few steps to the table to complete service. She literally was knocking things off my plate in order to keep leaning over the booth wall to deliver things. She then would just laugh and continue this weird reach thing for anything else she brought including the check. It was really bizarre. The final audacity was the total of our lunch which ended up over $40. It wasn't worth $4. I usually give an establishment a few trys before giving up on them but in this case we will never be back.
