Surprise, surprise! We took a little drive into the country today and stumbled upon this little gem…read moreof a bar! It happened to be Valentine's Day and there were decorations everywhere... So that was fun. We sat on the bar side and the waitress/bartender was super friendly. The menu is basically bar food but was very reasonably priced. He ordered the chicken fingers basket with onion rings (instead of fries) and I ordered a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with tater tots. I was really impressed with the quality of the food! The grilled cheese had black forest ham and was thick cut deli style served on grilled (not toasted) Texas toast. The onion rings were also cut thick and lightly beer battered, served with ranch. We each had a couple of beers and played some of those 50 cent pull-tabs... And we won $2!!! All in all, I did not expect to have such a nice day in the middle of farm country.

And I would think the Sat night crowd, with half the joint filled with Cd'A Tribal families enjoying dinner would agree with me. Play your childish games in your own bottom-feeder state. Beyond all that, our dinner here was great. As it usually is...

They were extremely pleasant over the phone and my kids ordered on many days and they were even more helpful when speaking with my kids. The food was some of the best hotel breakfast we've had and we've been to many hotels. Very surprised it's in Spokane. The potato wedges were so moist and flavorful ketchup ruined them. The eggs Benedict were so addictive we ordered those daily. The lox was made from smoked salmon which made it safe for everyone. Side of fruit was ultra fresh. Food is simple but delicious.

May be the worst coffee ever presented at a "restaurant". Eggs with my breakfast had a bizarre flavor. The "potatoes" (which were just potato wedges) were disgusting. The Lox Benedict was a sketchy chance of food poisoning with terrible flavor. As far as decent food, the pancake and French toast were decent. The butter brought with them, was horrid. Not sure how this place is a 4.5 stars. But I'm here to bring that down a bit. So people who search for spots to eat on here aren't fooled by that incorrect rating.

House of Brunch is hands down the best brunch place in Spokane! This is one of those spots that…read moreabsolutely delivers on both flavor and presentation. We ordered the French omelette with steak, which came with wild mushrooms, and it was out of this world. The omelette was beautifully done, and the combination of the tender steak and earthy mushrooms was absolutely delicious. The empanadas were just as impressive--packed with flavor and another standout of the meal. We also tried their gold leaf coffee along with a regular coffee. The gold leaf coffee was definitely a fun, elevated touch and made the whole brunch feel extra special. What really stood out was how well they balance aesthetic and flavor. The food looks beautiful, but thankfully, it's not style over substance--the flavors absolutely deliver. Service was amazing and impressively quick, with our food coming out fast. The ambience is classy and beautiful, making this a great spot for a more elevated brunch experience. If you're in Spokane and love brunch, do not miss House of Brunch. Highly recommend!

The service was great! I think her name is Bailey! She definitely took a good care of us!
