Not even a full 36 hours later and my nail just popped clean off??? I may have gotten a simple looking set, but I love them so much. Trixie did such an amazing job with my set, and I adored her bubbly personality. The other staff was sweet as well, but I didn't catch their names. 10/10 experience.

I visited early Saturday afternoon and was surprised that the salon was not very busy. Since it was my first visit, I told him I was new. He asked me to choose a pedicure, and I selected the Pomelo Pedicure. He then directed me to a book to choose a color. Because the selection appeared limited, I asked whether those were the only colors available. He replied that they were the dip-powder colors, although I had never requested dip powder. After I clarified that I wanted regular polish, he directed me to another display. I was surprised to find several nearly empty or dried-out bottles, which made choosing a color difficult. I was then directed to a chair, where my technician noticed nail dust covering the seat and adjoining table from a previous service. She wiped the area with a towel before I sat down. My pedicure was okay, but it felt rushed and did not seem to include everything I remembered from the Pomelo Pedicure description. When I received my ticket at the end of my service, I realized I had been given and charged for the less-expensive Express Pedicure instead. I mentioned it to the associate who checked me out, but I am unsure whether she understood my concern, so I decided not to pursue it further. On the positive side, I now know the Express Pedicure would be a convenient option when I am short on time. I am willing to give this salon another try to determine whether this experience was an exception or the usual standard.

I really hate to do this, but after almost a year and a half of coming here I have had to stop…read more The last three dip manicures I had done here either cracked or came off super early. Each of the last three manicures I had included no cuticle prep. They just filed the nail plate down, put on the dehydrator, and did the dip. My actual nails were completely ruined in the process. I have strong nails that I take care of, but after the last few manicures I was left with extremely thin, weak nails. I actually had to take SIX WEEKS off of having anything on my nails so that I could grow them back out. That's how bad of shape my nails were left in. My biggest complaint is that, after coming here for over a year regularly, Jimmy didn't even know my name. He stamped my final punch card entry and it seemed like he had this moment of realization that he had no idea what my name is. Not going to lie - it stung! I got my bridal nails done here! I brought my friends here! I told my patients about this place (I'm a chiropractor - people look at my hands constantly)! And the guy I talk to every visit didn't even know my name. HA!

I always spring for the lemongrass on when I can because it's sublime. That's what I did that time and it was just as I remembered. Jenny did my pedicure today. Just as lovely as I remembered her. Amy...Amy is just the best. I developed an allergy to one of the ingredients that are in the dip nails that I'd been doing for years. Gotta love a random adult onset allergy. Anyway, today I asked Amy about the gel builder. That's what my sister does now. I asked if I could pay a little money to have her do it on one finger so I could see if I would have an allergic reaction and she did. It's many hours later and I'm good as gold so far. She said give it 2 week but honestly? I do not want to wait that long I'll be good and wait, I guess. I love that the techs know my name, they ask about my family or updates on things we talked about last time and in addition to being lovely people, they do incredible work. Literal artists in my opinion. Love that there aren't TVs in there. It is so relaxing. I did t do anything fancy with my pedicure today but it looks so great. Can't wait to have Amy or Jenny do my fingernails!!

Today I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon, a place I've frequented for the…read morelast two years and where I've often spent hundreds of dollars at a time. I came in for a simple eyebrow wax and was assisted by a woman who is often at the front desk. Before we even started, I showed her a photo of my eyebrows from a previous appointment and explained that it was the exact look I wanted. Instead of listening, she immediately told me, "No, you don't want them too thin." That response caught me off guard because they are my eyebrows and the photo I showed her was literally a previous result that I was happy with. Rather than listening to my preferences, she repeatedly told me what she thought I wanted and seemed annoyed whenever I tried to explain otherwise. As I continued trying to communicate the look I was going for, she became visibly frustrated and said, "I'm going to find someone else for you." She then left the room, returned alone, and told me, "You know this is just waxing. This isn't permanent makeup." At that point, I was confused because I thought she was getting someone else who could better assist me. Instead, she expected me to continue the service after dismissing my concerns. When she told me to lay down, I declined. I went to the front, paid, and politely explained that I felt the situation was unacceptable. As a loyal customer who has supported this business , I expected basic professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to take my business elsewhere. The only reason I continued coming to this location was for Kim's pedicures anyways, which have always been great. However, based on today's experience, I can no longer recommend this salon. Customer service starts with listening to the customer, especially when they're clearly explaining what they want. Today, that simply did not happen.

Ambiance- 9/10 Service- 2.5/10…read moreExperience overall: I went to this place twice and the first time the services provided were nice, loved the nails and the artist offered drinks and everything. BUT I'm thinking of never coming back again because of my second experience! The artist this time did not give the correct nail shape, she was being a bit harsh to me for "keeping my nails in too long" under the lamp only to act that way AGAIN when i took it out on the first beep instead (LIKE I WAS TOLD!) and on top of that; when the artist started to do the design on it, IT SMUDGED BECAUSE I DIDNT KEEP IT IN LONG ENOUGH!! AND SHE DIDNT EVEN FIX THE SMUDGE!!! Also, my nail is PEELING! I've NEVER experienced something like this before, especially not with my previous service.
