I normally try to get in and out of these places. You know head to the ground situation. "Dude alert!" They are all speaking some other language and I am convinced someone just yelled out. "Who wants to take this big old dude, who probably doesn't tip and has skanky toes?!" Not today, I walk in and the nice lady says one moment sir. She scurried off to start preparing and filling the foot tub with warm water. Invites me back and makes sure my seat is cozy. Offers me wine or something to drink. I let her know that I am good as she helps my feet into the warm bubbly water. This isn't my first time here, but my best experience. She is super gentle, all along the way asking. "Are you okay, you need anything?", "I don't want to hurt you." I asure her she is doing great. Then the feet all have Happy Nails! She dries my feet and legs. Then commences to give each leg and foot about a 10 minute massage each! I am in heaven, thinking not even my my touches me like this and I have to give cash all the time. The happy ending to this story is this big old dude with the skanky toes did indeed tip. She was worth every penny of the 3 digit tip. Now, I am going home to dance with my wife. Went here for the first time the other day for just a manicure and was pleasantly surprised by the experience! The wait was a little long, but a) I did not make an appointment and b) it was on the weekend. My fault! The young lady who did my manicure took her time and did a very nice job! I did not receive the high pressure sales tactics to upgrade to a pricier procedure (like many nail salons commonly have a habit of doing), which I appreciated. I was asked if I wanted a dip and when I said "no", my response was respected. The pricing was also affordable! I also noticed that they had plastic lining each basin for pedicures, so I plan to go back and have a pedi soon. Normally, I avoid them for fear of catching a nail fungus but this place looked very clean. I am a happy customer with happy nails! :) read more

I got a basic pedicure + callous removal and a dip set. Maily did a fantastic job on my fingers, the shape is perfect and all of my nails are an even thickness. She was so quick and had a great color suggestion. I didn't get the name of the lady who did my toes, but she did her thing as well!!! I didn't think my callouses were that bad, but amount of skin she grated off was wild. This is definitely my new nail spot! read more

I recently had a well-deserved pedicure at Happy Nails that left me feeling very relaxed and appreciated as as a customer from start to finish. From the gracious reception from the manager and pedicurist/manicurist, to the actual service itself, to the movies playing on the flat screen televisions to the complimentary Fanzia wine, the experienced derived from my first nail salon in the Western Center area was quite memorable. I chose the Ultra pedicure, of which I had my feet placed in bags of hot wax after the initial scrub and rinse. I then had a wax-like substance rubbed on my feet, heels and up to my calves, which felt great. The final piece of the service was the nail polish, which was included within the Ultra. From here, I was directed to a table that had a hot lamp required to dry the polish faster. Altogether, it took about 45 minutes, yet was well worth it. Although the salon takes walk-ins, it is advisable to set an appointment in advance since this location is fairly busy. read more

I decided to visit the salon today and with high spirits I walked in hoping to be greeted but instead felt completely disrespected and uncomfortable! I have been here before many times and always had a great experience and despite last time not being the best I still decided to give this nail salon another shot. As soon as I walked in I was not greeted and when I grabbed a menu to take a look the girl in the back yelled across the room and told me to "wash your hands before I touch anything!" Definitely took me by surprise because my son and I both had our masks on and despite just putting hand sanitizer on I had no problem washing my hands but it was the way she addressed me and how she said it that caught me off guard. When I tried explaining to her that I had clean hands and just wanted to see the menu she was very rude, short and would cut me off anytime I would speak. I proceeded to wash my hands with my son and when I finished I had to figure out where I was sitting and they didn't bother assisting my 4 year old with a seat and when I did say something my son fell down from the chair since they didn't properly get him the right chair. I understand things happen and we have to be very careful with Covid but professionalism and respect goes a long way! I went to another salon and feel so much better about my day! My advice is to not open a business if you are going to be ugly and impatient with people!! Communication is key. Don't go here unless you don't care about A1 customer service! Ladies, we spend so much money on our nails and beauty needs so we should feel comfortable and feel like we are getting the best service that's why I don't settle for less!! Do not go here!! My nail tech cut every single one of my fingers with the blade. The woman who did my pedicure manages to cut me between my toes (I have no idea how!!!) my nails are way too thick, the dip powder dries outside of my nail bed so it looks messy. My nails are too big to fit my nail bed (way too wide). I gave her the opportunity to fix my nails and gave her the opportunity to make it right. I asked for a discount on my nails because I got cut so many times and she said "we don't do discounts" and charged my $90!!! I will never recommend this place to anyone!!! I had been going here for almost a year. Recently Lily the owner has been a bit rude but I dismissed it. Anyway, today was my last visit there. I will not be going back, she just lost a customer. She kept going around the bush to fix my white nails. I had gel and instead of trying to fix it I was asked to pick a different color, I was stunned and her tone wasn't the friendliest. I have gotten white gel before and there is a way to avoid getting bubbles but she didn't want to mess with it, she seemed annoyed. Time to find another place. read more

The salon is a bit small, usually crowded and sometimes the wait it's a bit long but all this is worth it. The ladies are very nice & prices are competitive and parking is never an issue. No matter what time of the day you go this place is going to have a bit of a wait, which in this case is good. They always offer drinks.
