I have given this establishment 3 chances. This last time was a pedicure. They just don't touch your cuticles at all. I got a pedicure 5 days ago and my nails did not grow that quickly this much. I tried o stick with this establishment because it's close to my home but I can't anymore. Any no nail shop should no longer charge you an extra $15 for gel nail polish. I have gone to this salon for at least a decade. The level of service varies each time I've gone. Today was the all time low. I got a classic pedicure. The girl that did the pedicure was nice, but seemed distracted when others would speak in their Asian language. But, she was kind and did a decent job. She had me sit under the blue light and fan to allow my pedicure to dry. I sat there for at least 15 minutes. Then I checked my toenails and they were still not dry and felt soft to the touch. I sprayed my toenails, sat another few minutes and another girl came to me and told me I was okay to leave. I told her my toes were not dry. (I knew if I put my socks and shoes on, I would end up with fabric impressions on my toenails). She sent my original girl to me to spray my toes and tell me to leave. I told her the same thing I told the other girl and she sprayed my toes again. She told me I was okay to leave. I told her my toes were not dry enough to put my shoes and socks on to leave, but I'd leave if they needed me to. She allowed me to sit for a bit longer. I waited another 10 minutes and tested my toes. They were still soft. I called my original girl over. As she got near me, another older lady tried to listen into my private conversation. I asked her to allow me to speak to my original girl without standing there eavesdropping. Reluctantly, she walked away, but after I had to ask her to walk away. I told my original girl my toes were not dry enough to leave yet. I asked if they had anything else they could use to speed up the drying time. They took me back to another pedicure chair and it looked like they were going to add more polish. I stopped them and said that would only increase the dry time. A guy who works the front desk came and explained that normal polish can take an hour to dry. He insisted I could put my shoes and socks on and I would be fine. I told him my apprehension to do so and he assured me that unless I pushed hard on my nails, no impression would be left. I did not agree because toes in socks and inside shoes will automatically cause pressure when you walk. They proceeded to put oil on my feet and nails and I do not know why. I was so frustrated at this point, I just left the salon. It was raining and the parking lot was wet. I was in the thin, flimsy flip flops they put you in when they apply the polish. As I began waking to my car with my shoes, drink, purse and umbrella in my hands I slipped and nearly fell. I caught myself, but messed up one of my toenails. Reluctantly, I went back into the salon and showed the front desk guy what had happend. He ushered me back to a pedicure chair and the second girl added nail polish to the messed up nail. Now it looks like a gash is in the polish because she did not fill it in as thick as the original. I've never felt pressured to leave a salon before I was satisfied and my nails were dry. I've never nearly slipped and fallen after leaving the salon in the flimsy flip flops in the cold rain. My feet are cold, wet and my toe is throbbing from stubbing it to keep myself from falling. Such a horrible experience and I don't know that I will ever return to this salon due to my experience today. read more

So about a week after coming here I'm updating my review. If I could give 0 stars I would. They filed down the sides of my nails so much they're not growing out right and they managed to file off the top layer of skin around my fingers so they are tender and it is extremely PAINFUL. It hurt before but the pain has gotten worse. I never get my nails done because I can't afford that luxury but I decided to treat myself. I was upset at first and now because of the pain I'm distraught. The thing that upsets me the most...the gentleman that works there(it seemed like he was the manager) was completely unsympathetic and not once apologized for what was done to my nails or the pain that he and has coworker inflicted. If you want friendly service at least, this is not the place. Save your money or go somewhere else. read more

Went in to get an eyebrow wax and decided to do a full face wax to give some extra business to one of my favorite local businesses. Bad idea. I now have two large scabs where my skin was ripped off. When I went back in to complain, the lady that did my wax said "I'm sorry, I didn't realize your skin was so thin." And gave me some blue gel like substance to put on my face three times a day. It smelled like listerine but I applied it later that day. It burned so bad I had to wash it off immediately. No refund. No discount. Not even an apology that didn't blame me. I've been coming here for years and it was one of my favorite places but I guess I'll have to find a new location. read more

I had to go in to get 4 of my nails redone because the design looked AWFUL, the ladies hand was shaking so bad when she did my design........ The lady that was supposed to "FIX" my nails, ruined them and didn't know what she was doing. I get dip on my nails and she didn't even put the base powder on before she dipped it in the actual color so it wasn't even sticking and didn't look right at all. Not to mention the 4 nails she "fixed" were a completely different shape than the rest. I swear she was on drugs or something, she was acting super weird and had dried blood on her nose?? Something was off about her as soon as I sat down in the chair. I made her take my nails off and had someone else fix them before she ruined anything else. I will only be going back to the guy that did my nails there, he was very nice and super good. I had the WORST experience I've ever had at any nail salon. I needed a simple under arm wax. It was fairly busy, so I filled out a paper with what I wanted and waited. I wasn't too upset about having to wait because I totally understand Saturday afternoon salon traffic. However, I only needed an underarm wax so I didn't expect to be waiting 45min. I was asked by an older lady what I needed, as she was holding my paper, and I explained to her just an under arm wax. She yelled something back and walked away. I finally asked the nice gentleman up front how much longer I would have to wait.... After 15min past he sent me towards the back. The wax room was a complete mess so I waited until someone came by to clean the table. After waiting another 5 minutes the tech came in and was completely confused as to what I needed. I explained it was an underarm wax and not eyebrows. She proceeded to explain that she didn't have time for underarms and to wait until 2-3mins. At this point I was annoyed, but also needed to get this done. After about 10min there clearly was no one coming so I left. The guys response up front was simply "sorry"... complete waste of time. Absolutely the worst experience I've had at a salon. You also can't call to be put on a list or make an appointment, atleast not Saturdays. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

First time client and I it was the worst experience ever my nails look terrible..I hate them they are streaky the length of the nails are uneven missing polish on part of a nail and the nail tech who helped me out (Peter) was super rushed on my nails and the final result speaks for its self they are terrible.. I told him I wanted matte nails and i didn't get matte nails because he said no that's shiny was better and that was final I couldnt get him to listen. Not worth the $40 don't go here. read more

Worst nail salon service by the lady on station 6, I wish I knew her name but she never introduced herself. I went in to get a dip set and pedicure. From the beginning she was very aggressive. She proceeded to rush me to her station. She sighed and rolled her eyes at me when I asked if I could use the restroom first. After I came back she got started on my nails. She wrapped my fingernails with foil and acetone cotton swabs then walked away for almost 30 minutes. A different (very sweet) woman came to check on me and help me take the foils off. That's when my original nail technician came back to proceed with my nails. I asked her if she could trim them as short as possible but then only took off the very tip of my nails. So I asked if she could trim them a little more. She told me they were short enough. I was surprised but I just smiled and said that was fine. After all that's an easy fix I could do at home. Towards the end of the service I requested to have my nails shaped square-round. I assumed she forgot since she left them square with very sharp corners. I gently reminded her that I would like the corners rounded to which she responded to with very exaggerated hand gestures and loud sighs. She smacked her hands on the her lap, looked the other way, paused for a few moment and rubbed her head to establish her annoyance with me. She dramatically reached for her nail file. At that point I was very upset. I told her to just leave them. All I wanted was for her to be done so I could leave. Once she was done she attempted to lead me towards the pedicure area. I told her I was not getting a pedicure after all, that I would be waiting for my friend instead. She was so shocked and tried to convince me otherwise. I proceeded to kindly turn her down and communicate that I was displeased and did not want another service done. She harassed me for the duration of the time while I waited on my friend. She even went as far as aggressively cornering me to try to fix my nails after I continuously told her "no thank you". I had to firmly tell her not to touch me before she left me alone. I am very disappointed with this nail technicians and the lack of management interference. read more

One of the employees daughters was listening to loud music on her cell phone. The movie playing was way too loud with extreme buzzing noises throughout the movie. The polish itself wasn't done well. I realize they were busy but there's no excuse for shoddy work. The price was deserving of something better. Tried Elite for the first time. Clean, modern facility with extras I personally have not seen elsewhere. Every person that works here that was within earshot was able to speak English very well. Prices are very comparable to other places. I paid $24 for their basic pedicure. While seated, I was offered water, soda or wine during my pedicure. The massage chairs seemed newer and the foot spas had disposable plastic liners that we're replaced after each customer. The metal tools used on me were opened from a package that appeared to have been sterilized. The emery board, foot scrubbing sponge, and toe separators were opened from new packages. The lady next to me wanted her eyebrows waxed and that was done in the chair during her pedicure. I personally like that, but others may prefer more privacy. I believe she was given the option to move to the back room, but she was in a hurry. All in all, I like the measures they take to keep themselves and their clients protected from bacteria and fungus. I was pleased to see the autoclave out in plain site and that it was in use. I will be back for sure. read more

Love this place! I've been coming here off & (mostly) on for 3-4 years. The work is always great & I've had no issues with having chips or breaks. Anytime I've had to go back in-between visits for a repair has been due to my own carelessness. The staff is also very consistent which I appreciate. The shop is always very clean & tidy. I've gone here many times for gel manicure and pedicures and really like it. I don't like dip nails because they're not as natural, so the times I wasn't real happy with dip wasn't their fault. Overall the owners here are fair & good people. One time I mistook them for another business and questioned a charge. They did the research, called me back & helped me realize where the charge had occurred, another Elite Salon. They want customers happy & if they aren't they'll redo something or refund. I used to go here quite often because I worked next-door but the quality recently has been horrific. I went about two weeks ago to get a pedicure and manicure gel set I just felt like I was being rushed the whole time. When she started on my pedicure she completely butchered my nails and had to start all over again because she wouldn't get the excess nail polish off of the sides of my toes. She finished my pedicure in less than 10 minutes. I came in and asked for an acrylic fill and when I asked for it, the people working there insisted I not get an acrylic fill because of my nail bed being thin, but I am the one giving you MY money to fix MY nails so therefore what I ask for should be done without any arguing. I also wanted them long like they already were and the guy that was doing my nails (he sits in the back right chair) basically told me no and that I need to get them short. I don't know why but I finally gave up the arguing and just let them do the dip and make them short but the dip color ended up looking awful, so I asked the guy if he could change the color so he did and when he did he half assed it and made the colors super patchy and unblended so now I have 2 different colors of blue on each nail. The shape is so uneven and he barely even filed them to look good. They are extremely thick as well which i didn't want. I paid $40 for this crap.
