I paid $15 dollars to get my nails drilled off, my pinky nail broken in half, leave with some acrylic still left on my nails, and topped off with a clear nail polish. I'm so disappointed with this set! The matte finish bubbled up on both my nails and feet. I went in today to have it fixed by Peter who seemed to have an attitude because he had to fix this mess. I also told them I was on my work break and that I needed this fixed at the same time. Wasn't done. I walked out and only when walking out did the guy up front say "you can come now". I walked out! Money wasted and the set and feet still look like shit! I've been coming to this location for years! I also spend $120 plus, and I tip well every time! I debated on posting about Saginaw Nails Spa because my experience will be heavily mixed. This was my first time going here and I am not sure if I'll go back. The building itself is clean, upscale type atmosphere, staff is friendly and was busy but I didn't have to wait. They do offer sodas, water, wine and some type of frozen concoction- no beer (boo). Prices are average for services they offer. The lady that did my pedicure was friendly but it seemed like she was in a hurry. The massage was like non existent, but when it came to scrubbing my feet she was rough. So much so she nicked my skin on the side of my foot. I did flinch but she kept going. When cleaning/cutting my toes she was pretty rough too. I did point out what she did and she said "oh!", rubbed the area and kept going. The paraffin wax was extremely hot. Like too hot that I pulled my foot away. She looked up and said, "hot?" I said, "yes". I honestly thought I'd gotten burned on the bottom of my foot but it is fine just sensitive. In the end though, I can say that I have never had as smooth feet that I do right now. Like baby's bottom smooth which I guess is the plus. I want to note that I am not sensitive with my feet in any way and this is certainly not my first time getting a pedicure. Nothing was new in the service provided to me. I did lie when the manager cashed me out when asked if everything was good. I kind of stumbled and said, "yeah". I didn't want to be that person. She was nice but ... I now lather my scrape with neosporin in hopes it doesn't get infected. As mentioned, I am not sure I'll go back. Plus ... no beer (boo). read more

I have been coming to Saginaw nails for over 5 years; it has always been a great experience, however, recently, they have a new young man who took over the front desk, he is one of the most heartbreaking , rude individual you could ever meet. Yesterday, he yelled at me while I was getting my nails done because his worker, wrote down what I wanted, wrong. He humiliated me in front of so many people. Needless to say, due to his provocative behavior, I did not want to create a bigger scene so I told the ladies to just continue what they were doing so he would walk away. I cried for about a good 45 minutes while the ladies finished my nails, both ladies were so nice and kept apologizing for his behavior. he never once said sorry. Be careful at this nail shop, they have staff that yell and try to humiliate people when they make mistakes. read more

I really wanted to like this spa. It's absolutely gorgeous inside and the people were friendly. I acknowledge I came in 45 minutes before they closed but I had call prior and they said they accepted walkins and I asked again when I arrived if they had time, again they said yes. I won't say who did my toes but they were definitely rushed and I would've preferred to be turned away instead of having a rush job. I chose the deluxe pedicure and gel (extra $20) but then I only got the tips which I was not told was an additional $5. I was shocked by that honestly, especially considering the job done. I probably won't return back here but they're nice and it's very nice inside but for the price I'd prefer a better job done. read more

He grabs me to go to the chair 10 mins later and everything was good until I felt my feet it didn't not feel like I just got a pedicure but instead like I walk outside with no shoes on ( I'm a little country bumpkin so I do but hence why I get pedicures) along with that I get home look at my toes they are streaky and not an even coat. I wanted French tips with a coffin shape. They didn't get the shape right and corrected them, but they caught a bit of an attitude when I did. So I am pleased. I've lived in this area about 8 months and have been afraid to try a new nail salon. All the reviews for places seem mixed, but today I decided I needed a treat. I was a walk in on Saturday after 4, but they were able to help me with no wait. The place I used to go to near my old work location was always packed but their quality was inconsistent. So, despite no line out the door I decided to proceed. I chose the 2nd level of pedicure which was only $37, but featured all the goodies you usually pay closer to $50 for.... Paraffin , hot towels short massage, scrub and lotion. She even did the foot rasp thing for callouses. All in all it was a very good experience. They have the same box wine the other salons, and although I wasn't offered a refill, I didn't want one. It was clean, not too loud, and an attractive business. No one seemed terribly rushed or stressed which was nice My tech didn't talk to me, but she did a good job and didn't sit there laughing at me with a coworker which happens at other places. So, I won't give 5 stars until I go again and have another satisfying experience. The dip Mani will be the true test! That said, for $45 with tip my feet look pretty, feel smooth.... That's pretty much what I expect in a Pedi... And I didn't have to drive.to Alliance! read more

Ok so this was my first time coming to this place, I came In to get my acrylic nails removed, after waiting an hour and a half for someone to come to me (mind you people were coming in after me and getting services done) I told the lady (Lisa) to be careful because I had broken 3 nails. She ignored what I had said and burned every single nail to the point where I pulled back my hand TWICE, she pulled my hand back and slapped it and kept going. And said she couldn't do my nails if i kept pulling my hand. She proceeded to finish but still left the color on my nails. Jimmy who seemed to be the manager was so pleasant, he assisted in recommendations for a white that wasn't opaque, but not too stark white. Peter did my manicure & dip nails and was very detail oriented and didn't miss a beat, made sure to clean up my cuticles and got the shape just perfect, I like my nails very short and he was sure to ask and confirm I liked the final shape. So I came here three weeks ago on a Friday afternoon with my Husband. I opted for the classic manicure with the gel nail polish and classical pedicure with regular nail polish. It went great, customer service was great and very nice. My manicure and pedicure were done well because they have been going strong for 2 1/2 weeks with no chips. I was so impressed that I decided to come by again, today, Friday, March 16th at 3pm. I went in, and realized they were somewhat busy today, but still opted to sign in and fill the form of the service I wanted, especially since I have a baptism to attend tomorrow. Finally one of the female employees approached me and asked to see my form. She pulled out the gel nail polish books so I could pick a color. I opted for the red color number #66 and was then seated at one of the stations. The ladies on both ends of me where being taken care so I knew that the nail techs helping them saw me sitting between these ladies. I sat there, other nail techs passed by, multiple times, other customers (4 to be exact) got seated and got nail techs right away, and I just sat there, waiting. Finally, after 30 minutes, and getting tired of seeing others that came after me get help I just walked out. I don't have time to be waiting on someone to decide to do my nails. I also don't have time to let them know I have been waiting for service, its not my job as a customer to let them know that they are lacking. While I also understand that they were busy, why make a customer sit at a station if someone is not going to help them right away? I would have been happier if they made me sit by the entrance and wait till someone was available to do my nails. While I really liked the way they did my manicure and pedicure the first time around, Im not going back and will advise others not to unless they are willing to sit there for a while until someone decides to do your manicure and/or pedicure. read more

I just wanted my hands and nails painted. The guy at the door was brash . Jackie did a nice job and would be great if you didn't want to talk at all. The job was just okay. Most places push the cuticle back and trim any wild skin that is in the way of painting. Not so here- average job. Friendly staff would have probably made a huge difference. I took that as their nail technicians would do a good job. That was not the case. I could only get one color and a shape. I showed him a picture of a simple design. Very very simple and he said no. They wanted to over charge for designs. I wasn't even getting fake nails I was using my actual nails. I paid 40 for coffin shaped black nails. No massage. (Mind you the $28 manicure includes a 10 minute massage) there was no care for my hands, the under part of my nails feel so dirty and gross. Not only that but black nail polish was left all over my fingers, I had to ask for her to clean that up.. I'm SO disappointed in this place. I will never stray away from nail art salon again. I've been here twice and will be going again this weekend for a mani/pedi. My husband got a great pedicure, they did a good job and were very friendly and attentive. I've had a pedicure with Dani and he was awesome and funny. I went back the next day and got my first ever dip nails by Lily. They have lasted for almost 4 weeks. Yes, they are long but have not lifted, cracked, or chipped. I love that they have great hours so I'm hoping I can make it tonight after work before they close. The salon itself is very clean, nicely decorated and the ambient is warm and inviting. This is my go-to salon. Excellent service all-around! read more

The service is not great. The lady doing my pedicure didn't remove the gel I had from my old pedicure and I guess thought I wouldn't notice how uneven and obvious the bump was on my big toe. I tried telling her but she didn't speak English so her manager had to tell her. He seemed in awe himself judging by how he was raising his voice and facial expressions. It was very obvious!! My nails look awful. Chewed up bubble gum instead of smooth even dip, just awful. The color didn't even turn out as shown. 2 days later and my nails are chipping. Not a clean environment, they reused the manicure tools, which makes sense of why I got an infection where she cut me. EW. I was never offered a drink so I sat there for an hour thirsty.
