I also had a damaged nail that was sore and I thought nothing could be done about it. She not only gave me the most amazing dip manicure with perfectly shaped nails that aren't thick (yall know that's hard to find!) but she also was able to fix my badly broken nail to the point where it looked great AND didn't hurt! This is now called Gina's. I had a full set done by Gina, herself. She didn't bring the polish down to my cuticles and wiped the acrylic so far in on the sides that plain nail showed ON THE SIDES! When I left, my nails looked grown out for a week already. She tried to say this kept them from coming up/off too quickly. Irritated for two weeks by this, I went back and asked to have the nails removed and a polish on my toes. She seemed angry at me. Maybe it wasn't going to be enough money for her?? But, I was the ONLY customer in there... I picked my polish and she told me where to sit. But... she was super rude. Never smiled. Only said "pick your polish" to me the entire time. I sat in the chair - WITH my polish choice - and she just stood with her back to me. I asked her if she was okay and told her she seemed mad. Still with her back to me, she repeated the command to pick my polish. I told her I wasn't happy. She didn't speak. So, I got up and put my flip flops on to leave. She never said another word. Will NEVER go back. Also, her husband just sitting at the front and NOT greeting people or speaking is very weird and uncomfortable. read more

Decided to go in last minute with my two teenagers to get mani/pedis. We've never been here before and decided to give them a try. I met the owner who was also working on us, and she said that they just took it over. They were all very sweet, very attentive and did a great job! It was such a relaxing environment and they were all very welcoming. They listen to what you want and are not pushy. All 3 of us were happy with the service we received. Received another gift certificate for Christmas this year. I have my own personal favorite nail salon but what girl is going to turn down a complimentary mani/pedi, right?! =P The place was nicely decorated. They have TVs on the walls set in frames, chandelier near the entrance, column accents. You know, poshy things. The staff seemed friendly enough. My nail tech was Kevin and he was very easy to talk to. Don't you hate it when you get someone who doesn't even try to talk to you and you're sitting there like, "Hurry up so I can get the heck out of here!" LOL. Kevin was cool. Am I going to be a regular here now? No. Did I hate my nails? No. It wasn't bad but there were some things I didn't like about it. They seem to do well here and have their regulars here so it's just a personal choice. I would recommend this one though over the other location in Lake Worth. The vibe is more chill here. read more

I have a friend that lives on the Saginaw/Ft. Worth border, near Boat Club. There ain't a whole lot in the way of upscale or luxury in the area, so my standards were not high to begin with. I wanted to get gel nails for an interview; she wanted a pedicure. I'm not a stickler or a perfectionist, but they really sucked. She drew blood clipping my cuticles and wiped them with a dirty washcloth T_T I also asked her to redo some of my nails (NEVER have I requested that). Sloppy! I have attached a picture of the bloody scab (now five days old), and the blood trapped under the Shellac. Five + workers sat around me speaking Korean (I think) laughing, looking, and gesturing...not sure what was being said or was so funny but I was very uncomfortable. Not coming back and for the record nails look like crap againever A month later no nails left due to manicurist using a drill instead of soaking my gel nails polish off with acetone! I'm gonna have to wait at least another couple of months to get my nail professionally done again because they are now too soft/thin for gel polish and keep breaking off below nail line. I have had my nails done here 3 or 4 times. Each time they never last and end up chipping or coming apart from the top of my nail to where my hair gets caught between the nail and "fake" nail very early on. Their process of doing nails is different from anywhere else I've been, they don't last. (This is the powder dip, other types of nails may be better) I've had a good experience with Kevin but the other man that's done my nails hasn't been very friendly. I normally go somewhere else but this is closer so I decided to give it a try. I went in on a Thursday and there were no customers. A worker was screaming at another working but I couldn't understand what was being said. As she was screaming at her coworker she blocked my way to the bathroom. I said excuse me several times and she just stood there yelling. I came out of the bathroom to find her setting my water and thought great... she started grabbing my feet scratching me with her nails and eyeballing her fellow coworkers. I immediately got up and said I'd had enough and left to the place that I usually go. I will never come back her again, nor would I recommend to anyone. I normally don't write reviews but this time I had to. I've been to this Posh a couple times before and loved it they were great. Today however, I had a new person I had never seen before. She was so rough and in a rush due to them being short staffed. I warned her I had a ingrown toenail and that it was tender. She dug into my toenail so hard I started to tear up it was so rough. I wanted just plain white gel nails but she grabbed the paint you'd use for a French tip or something because she didn't want to go to the back and get the correct paint. I didn't even get a leg massage that was included in my pedicure. My paint job looks horrible I could've done it myself. read more

I asked if it could be removed she said it would wear off in time. I explained I wasn't going to work with that how do I get it off, she removed one fingers mess but left the rest an told me to let it wear off, ignored me an took the next customer who explained I could get something at Sally's to remove it. This was half way good at best, 100% not worth it! As first time customers when We walk in I was immediately asked if I wanted my eyebrows waxed. I came for a pedicure and my sister a set of acrylic nails. I politely said no and proceeded to pick out my color and wait for my turn. Now I'm in the chair and she is still asking me to wax My eyebrows to the point where I'm self conscious. I pick out the classic as my pedicure today and she walks away. 3 minuets later she comes back and asks me if I can do a "posh " pedicure which is an extra 20$ dollars. Again I say no and continue on with my experience. My whole pedicure was rushed and ultimately unsatisfactory. But my sister loved her nails, until we go to pay. Their standard acrylic set is listed at 25$ and we're charged 40$. To our shock they put gel nail polish on top of acrylic nails without talking to us about it. ( if you know anything about nails, putting gel on top of acrylic is totally pointless) I know 15$ isn't a lot, but it's shady to just do something like that without talking to us about it. Overall the place was operating a shady business and trying to push people for more money. Will NOT be coming back read more

Gel polish mani/pedi $65, not bad if it last more than 2 days. Polish started peeling 2 days after I had them done. Went back so they could fix it and I was made to feel like I was bothering them. Moved cities and was recommended to this nail salon by a relative. I was trying to save myself time from driving to my fave nail salon and decided to take my mom here for a daughter mother mani pedi. WORSE DECISION EVER! To get started I got some lady named KIM. She was horrible. All she pretty much did with pedi was take nail polish off, cut down and paint my toes. She didn't do much filing or anything. when I told her she smiled and said it look good. I don't know what allowed me to allow her do my mani which was a CND manicure. My relative recommended it so I said why not This women was horrible. I get manicures a lot and never had I hated a manicure as much til I came here. She cut me and aside that she cut down my nails and didn't file right so they are sharp and I had to go home and file down myself. When she painted my nails she put too much nail polish that it smeared. There are lumps all over the nails. I asked her to redo it and she said they look fine. I really was just tired and decided to take the horrible work and go to my favorite spot. Needless to say... this is the worse place ever! read more

Love this place! Smaller and not quite as fancy but the work is solid. And most importantly to me the customer service is top notch. I stopped going to my former nail salon after 4 years because they kept appearing to be less and less concerned with having me as a continued customer. The last time I was at the other location I sat with my feet in the water for 15 minutes while the technician sat next to me texting. I was quite unhappy. So I went in search of a new place and found this little gem. They don't have wine, but that's really not a factor for me. The pricing is good and the work is great.
