Sadly, I have had two very negative experiences with this salon. They have posted hours of 11-6 on a Sunday and I can by on a Sunday and doors were closed and locked and lights out. This nail salon has been around for years but unfortunately keeps declining in service. They are severely understaffed and have only one person doing manicures while the remaining people focus on pedicures. Connor was the man who did my manicure and convinced me to not soak off the old work on my nails but instead use it as a "strong base" for my new full set and said it's only a $3 difference but on their menu they advertise a soak off for $15. He rushed me through the service and when three ladies showed up for a manicure he got sloppy with the last hand in comparison to the first to finish my dip in 30 minutes. When I asked him to go back and fix my nails he blatantly told me he has other customers waiting and cannot wait for me and advised me to fix it when I get home. This is the first time I did not tip and felt justified in not doing so. I see more and more people opting for independent nail techs who have their own salon suite or work from home to get better service, no wonder these old salons are becoming money hungry or going out of business. Focus on each customer and provide quality work, maybe then you could actually retain a solid clientele. read more

Horrible service The tech was paying attention on every single other techs, but forgot to look at their own job. She cut my finger very deep, and once I told her it was hurting she said, oh I see. My nails were uneven, I had to fix it when I got home. She was so worried about the other customer the other nail tech was working on, that I felt so uncomfortable. I have my go-to nail salon, but I came in here to use a gift certificate that I had received for Christmas. I've been in before a little over a year ago and had left very unimpressed. An older lady cut into my cuticle and acted like it was fault. My nail tech was Josie this time and she was awesome. She was very personable and made this experience pleasant and enjoyable. It quickly felt like I was talking to a girl friend. I was happy with her work also. It's a nice salon and I get the "posh" feeling. They have many mani and pedi stations and quite a large staff. I wasn't too keen on what looks to be the owner lady. She was very short and not welcoming at all. I probably wouldn't come back because I have my own favorite nail salon. I've gone to Posh a handful of times for pedicures and was always satisfied. Yesterday, I went to get my eyebrows waxed. It was the second time I have gotten them done here. Never again! The lady ripped the wax off so hard that my skin was burning and raw after. I posted a pic of what my eyelid/eyebrow looked like the next morning. I've been getting my eyebrows waxed (at other salons) and have never had such an awful experience before. The lady also ran my credit card for the wrong amount and then had me put the rest as a tip. I was looking for a place to get my nails done since camp was over and I had to go back to the real world and obviously needed to get uni ready, so I hopped onto yelp to look at reviews and came across this place. This joint was hopping as soon as we walked in the store. We had to wait a few minutes until a chair opened up, but that wasn't an issue. What I loved was that they offered red and white wine in addition to water and soda! Um, I love you! The staff are awesome, the chairs were inviting and relaxing and the vibe was great. Shortly after I had declared my love for a different nail salon, I noticed Posh pop up. It's a lot closer to me, so I gave it a go. I'm definitely a fan! I've stuck with the same person for all my visits and have been super pleased. Honest to goodness, these have been the best manicures (regular, not gel) that I have received. I've EASILY stretched out a paint job 2 weeks and they stay near flawless the entire time. My nails are often mistaken for gel or even acrylic jobs. Everyone I have encountered is so friendly. After my first visit, both owner and nail guy remembered me, my beverage of choice, and coincidentally, even the pedicure chair I sat in last time. This is with a month in between visits! The salon it self is clean and tasteful. Some of the larger salons are ornately decorated to the point of gaudy, but I like the simple decor of Posh. The only hiccup can be the wait time. 2 of my visits were on a Saturday and I waited nearly an hour before my service. Both times I was sat in a pedicure chair until my water got cold! I honestly didn't have other plans, and I entertained myself with wine and tv, but this could be off putting to some. I wouldn't visit on the weekend with a tight schedule. I'll try to keep future visits to the weekday like my most recent trip, where I was started on immediately. read more

This place is stupid overrated. Today was my first time here and I followed the advice of my fellow Yelpers. I should have known it couldn't be that amazing though - it's Lake Worth, after all. Not sure where these other people usually go, but this place is nothing special and left me disappointed. I got the Deluxe Manicure and the woman spent about 10 minutes on me. I had to ask her twice to fix two different nails because she cut them crooked. She was sloppy and didn't give a damn -- that was quite obvious. I felt like I was wasting her time. No need to sift through, find a fav, and make requests, they're ALL fantastic! -Nails- whether it's gel, solar, dip nails, or just a polish job on your precious princess, they are TOP notch. Even when I bring in complicated designs they work hard to give me what I want (heck sometimes it's a team effort and we're having a hoot!). -Pedis- OMGGG HEAVEN. I wanted to try this place because of so many positive reviews. That many people can't be wrong. I called a couple of weeks back to ask if they took credit cards, because so many have stopped, and was told I would have to call back later to get an answer. Huh? So I went back to my usual place. More pictures of pretty nails posted coming out of this place so I couldn't stand it anymore. Nosey got the best of me. When you come thru the door the place is very nice, modern and clean. The staff greeted me right away and I caught them at a slower moment. When I left all chairs were full in the waiting area so I know I will be prepared to wait on future visits. I got Jonathan as my tech and he is funny and talkative. He made me very comfortable and he made sure to ask my name and use it several times while I was there. My nails are beautifully done. Someone else painted them for him but she was equally as good. Not sure I like my color choice but I do love that they have a wide variety of OPI colors. I highly recommend this salon but be prepared to no get right in. P.S. They have wine! read more

I'm not really sure who the lady was that did my nails because I never got her name. But, what I will say is that this was one of...if not THE worst experiences I have ever had. First of all, there was an obvious miscommunication between her and I. I understand where that is frustrating between both parties, but what is rude is sitting there and talking badly about your customer in another language about a request to fix what I viewed as unsatisfactory. My nails should not look like I chewed them off. My real nail should not be exposed under my dip nail. All that pointing fingers of who to blame aside, I could easily strike that up as a miscommunication and move on. But she was extremely abrasive. My skin is raw and red around my nails from her rough filing. I have cuts from the little dremel she used for filing, and she cut a chunk out of my finger while trimming my cuticles. (Which actually started bleeding). I vocalized a few times that her filing was hurting and she kept on with it with the same level of abrasiveness. The gentleman doing my sister's nails also took a chunk out of her finger while trimming cuticles, but he was much friendlier and actually talked to her during. The most I heard from mine was when I complained about the length and she said that I don't want long nails, that I wouldnt be able to do work as a wife. Whatever that means... The overall product of the nails is average. My sister and I both have divots on the nails on some of our fingers. And although the gentleman made an attempt to remedy my obvious displeasure by being respectful, I will not be returning to this salon. read more

Very disappointed with my sloppy $35 gel manicure. The technician raced through the service like she was receiving a special bonus for finishing in under 30 minutes. I repeatedly gave her instruction to apply the polish in thin layers, but she just didn't understand what I was after. Her application was MESSY and THICK. Maybe my worst mani ever? And then there was the usual talking on the phone, smacking gum and speaking to coworkers in another language. This is a decent place for the price, but by far not my favorite place in the Fort Worth area. Pros: Nice interior During peek hours there isn't much of a wait The staff attempts to dress similar as to delineate who is an employee and who is not. Decent prices for service given Large TVs to watch. Free beverages - water, wine, margarita, etc Cons: They do not maintain attention to one client at a time. By that I mean they will go from chair to chair cleaning, doing a polish, getting a drink. The music they choose to have as background during one visit was similar to bad 80's music from another country. They banter back and forth in another language instead of engaging the client. During slow times it can take you up to 2.5 hours to get a mani/pedi (no not gel) - simply because they spread themselves too thin. So so on cleanliness - instruments and tubs seem clean, but I caught my manicurist cleaning a tub with bleach with the same gloves she was using on me! Yikes! All in all a decent place for the price, could work on customer service and perhaps someone to coordinate the check in/out counter. read more

I made an appointment for a manicure and 2 pedicures 3 weeks ago. I called an hour early to cancel the second pedicure appointment. When I arrived (granted I was a little late) I was informed that the person I requested for the pedicure took the afternoon off. It was for an event planned well in advance. Instead of calling me to tell me she wouldn't be there they wait until I get arrive to inform me she decided not to come back this afternoon. This is not the first time it's happened. I understand they work on commission but as a business owner they should require their employees to request a day off in advance so that any appointments scheduled can be rescheduled with someone else or for another time. I have been going there for many years because I like the quality of work person who does my hands does and I like the pedicure person, too. Went in for deluxe pedi & mani. The older woman who they assigned to me was very rough with me. She burned my hands with the paraffin wax. I told her it was too hot and she laughed at me. My hands got shoved into the wax when it was STILL LIQUID and I am in excruciating pain. The language barrier at this place is a huge issue. Very pushy man leaves the employees looking terrified.
