I called to schedule a Mother's Day appointment for my mom with her favorite nail tech. I spoke with someone named John (I believe that was his name), and he confirmed everything was set for Thursday at 5 PM. I let my mom know her appointment was booked. When my mom arrived for her appointment, she was told there was no appointment under her name. She showed them the confirmation text she received when the appointment was made, and we later found out John had accidentally scheduled it for 04/30 a date that had already passed. They checked to see if the nail tech was available, but unfortunately she already had another client. My mom was initially told to wait because the tech would be available in 10 minutes, but shortly after, they informed her it would actually be a much longer wait. We've been loyal customers at this location for YEARS, and unfortunately this isn't the first time we've experienced issues with appointments. In the past, we tried to be understanding when our scheduled tech had to take another client for a quick touch-up or something minor. However, this situation was extremely frustrating and disappointing. What upset us the most was the lack of accountability for the scheduling mistake. It's hard to understand why appointments are made if they are not properly honored or managed. When my mom was getting her nails done not only were they crooked but when she asked if her thumb was crooked, (nervously because she couldn't tell and we all know how awkward that is) the artist David threw her hand down on the counter, slammed his lamp, threw the nail polish bottle into a drawer (literally), and spun it away, and screamed at her and told her to get out of his chair and that he won't do her nails. Another employee apologized and said he'd fix her thumb to no avail. Another customer next to her was frightened and also noted the nails looked crooked as well. Although she was not charged due to the artists outburst this was incredibly unprofessional and a violent outburst. She attempted to tip the employee who tried to fix it but he noted that it wasn't work that should be charged. Potentially an outlier event, however don't go here if you have ever felt comfortable with speaking out when something doesn't quite look right. Absolutely embarrassing. Called yesterday and made an appointment for noon for a manicure and pedicure. Arrived and was greeted and escorted to the pedicure chairs. I was assigned Kim. She was friendly but took quite awhile to get me set up. After about ten minutes of her getting things together she got going. They weren't too busy and only one other person in the pedicure chairs. This is where it gets bad. You ever have someone work on you and you can tell they don't know what they are doing? This is it. Pulling the cuticle hard, jagged and cutting deep. Still skin left all over the feet. The paint job was absolutely tragic. The point of mail polish is to be on the mail, not the actual skin. She would stop every few minutes to talk to other employees. The manicure was just as bad. I would have rather not had the little shoulder massage she gave because it was just as bad as the other services. I'm actually writing this as I'm sitting in the chair. I'm that irritated. I asked for a manger to fix this and they sent another nail tech to speak to me. Obviously no one cares about service and the quality of the craftsmanship. Definitely a place that should be avoided at all cost. I sat here for almost 1.75 hours for absolutely subpar and trash work. Spend your money and time somewhere of quality. The front desk did ask me how my service was and I showed them the results. They said "Oh wow!" and told me to come back before close to have someone fix this disaster. So I came back this evening and my toes are a lot better. The techs weren't too happy seeing the job Kim did. The staff apologized heavily and wanted to make sure I was happy with things. So 3 stars. Let me start by saying, the staff is super friendly and the pedicures are great! However for my nails, I only get dip and every time I do from this salon, they break. This last time was the last straw for me. 2 nails broke the day after I got them done, went back and they "fixed them" only to have the break again, the next day. I'm on day 8 and have 4 broken/chipped nails. The nails that aren't broken are lifting underneath, it's pretty frustrating. I want to love this salon, but I can't keep paying $48 after tip for nails that break almost immediately. I will say though, there's a huge selection of colors and the prices are very reasonable. Just wish my nails would last the full 2 weeks like they do when I get them done elsewhere. :( read more

Just wanted a natural pink and white with short nails. I didn't like them at all but still ended up paying $45 and I didn't say anything. Been going for years but prices have increased and service not as good. Went tonight at 6:30 for my regular American tip dip and took 2 hours. Tech couldn't seem to get it right and ended up with a second tech helping ending up trying to put a sparkle polish over it to cover up. I made them remove it and finally settled for just wanting to get out at 8:30pm! They still charged me full price and when I address that with the owner, he said there was nothing he could do and if I didn't like the service, I shouldn't tip the tech. If I could give zero stars, I would. I took my sister here tonight for a birthday pedicure, and so many things went wrong. First, I asked for acrylic on my big toe, and they completely ignored my request. Then, when we sat down to start the process, I advised the nail tech that the water was too hot, and she disregarded my feedback. As we got into the pedicure, she started using the buffer on my feet, and she was so rough, she cut my foot. Additionally, she did not ask if I wanted my toe nails clipped, she just went at it, and now they are too short and my toes look funky. She dug too hard on my big tow and accidentally stabbed it, now it's swollen. Probably the most important thing, I noticed at the end of my pedicure, that the tech was not using disposable tools. She took the tools she used to treat my feet, ran them under warm water, and proceeded to put them back in her nail kit. I placed a complaint with the owner, and he offered to fix it, for a fee. I expressed that I was not going to pay extra for something they messed up and he got in my face, stating that they had cameras. I don't know what he was insinuating with that, but I did not feel safe. Please do not go here, these people are the worst, and their customer service is abismmal. Update: As you can see, on top of charging me full price for a poor job, the salon owner still attempts to charge me more to fix it. Please don't waste your money on them, there's another nail shop two blocks down. read more

I have a friend who goes to this shop a lot, so I've seen the good and the bad of their work. I decided to give them a chance. The first time I went the lady who did my toes acted like she was annoyed by me being ticklish, and was very passive aggressive. Then messed up my toe but tried to paint over it. She even cut me too close w the files and unnecessary drills. My nails were very fragile, before I even got out the car it chipped at the acrylic tip, which is very unusual for a dip powder set. She said it was because they were low on powder. Later that night another nail chipped off while I picked up a pillow. I called and got them redone, but it wasn't the correct color I originally had and I still was unsatisfied. I tried to request a refund because I wasn't about to give them a third chance, due to wait times and employee attitude, but no one ever got back to me. I gave two stars because the mimosa was good. Some staff are pleasant and friendly but over all I wasn't sold due to poor quality in some of the staff. read more

I got a spa pedicure w/ massage and it was quality work and so relaxing. She spent extra time to make sure there were no dry spots on my feet. I have been to this place many times over the last probably 15 years. I haven't been in for about a year due to Covid etc... I have never been unhappy until today. There was a miscommunication... the receptionist (very sweet girl), said to me all the pedicures are the same just pick the scent you want. So I did thinking I'm getting a full pedicure. No price or anything was brought up. Price wouldn't be an issue, this is how I treat myself. That's ok, they didn't charge me for any extra service. So no hot stone was used. Ok, so misunderstanding but would have rather had the full deal no matter what additional services would cost. Where things went south...I get in the chair and the water isn't working properly. It was a trickle and there was an inch of water trickling in and it wasn't warm/hot. They usually ask "how's the water". She started the timer and starts rubbing dry salt rub on my legs. I ask "is the water not working?". She says "it's fine". Then she couldn't get the filter on and just set it to the side. She then says something to the other workers about it not working. They all look over in curiosity. Just keeps going. Finally a little more water fills in, she puts my feet in it and it's just room temperature. Any way, it ends up being a very poor massage. She didn't even repeat the same procedure on both feet and legs. Before the pedicure is even over, another girl comes and asks me if I'll pay now. Kind of a bummer because I knew I wanted to talk to the manager about the experience. I tell the girl who took my money that I wasn't happy, she says "ok thank you" and that's it. I ask for the manager. He was very rude and said he'll check the cameras. I asked if I should wait and he said he'd get back to me. I leave and I call him a few minutes later, I said look I don't want to leave on bad terms and tried to be very nice. He calls back and says he looked at the camera and everything was good. I disagreed. After much back in forth he asked what would I do. I told him I would make it right for my customer. He then said because I'm American I don't know how business works and just because people complain a business shouldn't give a discount or reimburse them just because a customer is unhappy. He went on to say he can't offer anything because if I come back no one would be willing to work with me. I said fine, refund what you think is fair. He said that is the American way and he's not doing it. I asked for corporate/ owner contact info he said I couldn't have it and he was going to send my picture to every nail salon so I could never get a pedicure anywhere. I see where he has other complaints that includes another racist comment. Told me if I wrote a bad review he would retaliate. I hate this, I was really trying to express being disappointed. He accused me of just wanting something free. I never raised my voice, cursed or belittled anyone.
