The interior is modern, chic, and spacious. Great for accomodating large parties, just be sure to book ahead of time rather than drop in. Additionally, the drink I ordered during my appointment was made with liquor. I couldn't believe they offered top shelf alcohol as part of the appointment. I came in for a simple eyebrow wax and was assisted by a woman who is often at the front desk. Before we even started, I showed her a photo of my eyebrows from a previous appointment and explained that it was the exact look I wanted. Instead of listening, she immediately told me, "No, you don't want them too thin." That response caught me off guard because they are my eyebrows and the photo I showed her was literally a previous result that I was happy with. Rather than listening to my preferences, she repeatedly told me what she thought I wanted and seemed annoyed whenever I tried to explain otherwise. As I continued trying to communicate the look I was going for, she became visibly frustrated and said, "I'm going to find someone else for you." She then left the room, returned alone, and told me, "You know this is just waxing. This isn't permanent makeup." At that point, I was confused because I thought she was getting someone else who could better assist me. Instead, she expected me to continue the service after dismissing my concerns. When she told me to lay down, I declined. I went to the front, paid, and politely explained that I felt the situation was unacceptable. As a loyal customer who has supported this business , I expected basic professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to take my business elsewhere. The only reason I continued coming to this location was for Kim's pedicures anyways, which have always been great. However, based on today's experience, I can no longer recommend this salon. There are just not enough words to describe how absolutely amazing she is! She is incredibly talented and very, very meticulous and thorough with every step of the manicure. I get builder gel as a base and choose a different color, or French manicure on the top of the builder gel every time I go. They are my own natural nails. I started out with my nails short, and with the builder gel base they have continued to grow on their own. They have been my nails the entire time. When they get too long, we cut them back. My nails will last an entire month before I have to go back again!! Allie is extremely good at what she does! She always checks a couple of times throughout the manicure to make sure I like the shape and what she's doing. She is also extremely neat and keeps everything she does extremely clean. Every single month I come in she does a superb job! She has done various shapes and colors for me, and I have absolutely loved each one. This last time with the red polish that is shown in the pictures is probably my favorites one so far. Each time I show her a picture of a manicure I want, and without fail over the last year and a half plus, she has always made it look identical! And the rest of the staff is wonderful as well. I'm willing to give this salon another chance, because it was the first one I've been to that I actually felt comfortable in.
