I've been doing sugaring for about a year maybe more. I've done it here at this location, burleson, and Mansfield. This one is super convenient for my daily errands and more. All I have to say is book with Kennady! I came in for a Brazilian sugaring wax, and let's just say... I was very overdue. I walked in mentally preparing myself for pain, but Kennady completely changed my expectations. I don't know what magical technique she used, but the wax was almost painless. Seriously. There was only one strip that stung a bit, but honestly, it was nothing compared to what I was expecting. Kennady clearly knows what she's doing. On top of that, she was such a pleasure to talk to. I felt completely comfortable the entire time, which is not always easy during a Brazilian. She's warm, professional, and really knowledgeable. She took the time to walk me through aftercare, and I actually learned a few new things (education is gold, and she definitely delivered!). Bottom line: I'll only be booking with Kennady from now on. First time ever getting sugar waxed and I loved it! I always get super red and have a burning sensation while regular waxing so I figured I would try this place out. I was slightly red at first, but it went away by the time I left my appointment. Plus, there was no burning sensation for me. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and Janis was awesome! She made me feel super comfortable and she was very great to talk to. Even though this was my first time, there was no hair left over at all! They charge half of your services if you cancel on the same day. Which is absolutely crazy to me. I will never come here again. I am a really good tipper and I always tip above and beyond. But never again. I didn't even want to reschedule but they are always so pushy for it. And then when things happen they're not flexible about it. read more

Walked in to schedule a keratin eyelash treatment and had to make an appointment an hour later at 4:30. Fine. So I waited for an hour, walked in at 4:20 and the receptionist tells me that they won't be ready until 5pm. Like...what? Not a great first impression. Probably won't be back or reschedule. I love the results of sugaring compared to waxing! I've been going to this location for almost two years and have lighter hairs regrowing than I ever did with waxing. My skin is softer and I can go 4+ weeks in between sessions for legs and underarm. Sugaring aside, the girls here are super sweet. She asked for my phone number which I provided and she was like no I didn't call you. Confused because why would I just call if you didn't reach out to schedule me. I was about to ask for an appt and she hung up on me. I called back and stated what I needed and she hung up again. So there is a first time for everything right? Well my first time getting sugared was here at this location. I made my appointment online and noted that I was a sugaring virgin. The ambiance is very pretty in pink and chic. The location must have just opened because there are some minor construction issues that need to be fixed like the entry door. Nevertheless I'm checked in and shown to the room where I'll receive my service. The sugaring process was explained to me and I was shown the sugar and then we got right to it. It was as painful as eyebrow threading in my opinion. Not terrible but quick so minimal time to wince. I had a Brazilian but when I got home I noticed quite a few rebel hairs so that's why four stars. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend read more

Definitely not deserving of the 5 star rating it currently has. The place looks nice and clean however the rooms are as basic as possible. They ONLY offer sugaring, no other wax choices. And I get it, it's called Sugar NYC but women love options! The tables are uncomfortable and cheap- they move when you get on. The lights are bright AF. My first time for my bikini and being sugared! I had Caitlyn and she was great! Very informative- before, during and after. Took about 15-20 min maybe start to finish.
