I am still dreaming about the Grilled Chicken Pesto sandwich! WOW! First of all, I don't like…read moremany sandwiches. Cold, processed deli meats with the standard condiments is just not appealing to me. As we were driving through Healdsburg for lunch, my friend's Tesla suggested "Summer's Market & Deli" for a quick bite. The suggested reviews offered "BEST sandwiches" - though I had bias reservations (again, I don't like sandwiches). The shop is located in a neighborhood one mile off the beaten path. There are a couple of wooden picnic tables outside. Upon entering, the store is sparse, with a small ordering counter on the right side, drink fridge in the back and a few local items for purchase on the left side. The menu offered a variety of hot and cold sandwiches. I ordered the "Grilled Chicken Pesto sandwich", off the FAVORITES sandwiches menu. It includes a hearty combo of grilled chicken breast, red bell peppers, caramelized onions, provolone cheese, lettuce and tomato on a focaccia roll. WOW - the combination of high-quality ingredients made this one of the BEST sandwiches I have ever had!! Well done Summer! Will definitely recommend to all my friends and look forward to returning when I am in the area.

The owners are almost always there and they are very friendly. They have a good selection of chips, sodas/drinks, and other snacks as well. You can order our food and eat inside or outside. I do prefer lazzinis in SR but this is definitely up there on places that offer tasty sandwiches.

Humble, kind, personable and offerings that stand on high quality thought out and selected incidents that are full of Flavor. They were almost sold out of everything because we walked in early afternoon as we strolled the shops. Extremely clean, a well decorated small Space but you don't feel it because they are big in heart. We don't live locally but we will make the trip specifically to dine at Troubadour. I wish I knew the gentleman's name that helped us and talked about their story. This is a Michelin-starred California-French restaurant by evening and a sourdough bakery by day. Once the bakery doors close the inside is changed around to Accommodate intimate seating for your Dining experience. I'm so Excited to return. Bravo

This time they had plenty of sandwiches, and I settled for the turkey pesto. Having read so many rave reviews, I was unfortunately underwhelmed, the bread was good (soft, moist, good flavor), but I didn't think the sandwich itself was anything that special. There are many other turkey sandwiches I have enjoyed more, no need for a special trip. But do buy some bread while you are there, or grab some when you're at Quail and Condor. I liked the Yecora Rojo Sourdough (moist, good flavor). They can even slice it for you with their machine, although I wish I hadn't because the slices were very thick and a bit uneven.

What a great market! And their sandwich counter is The Best…read more You can create your own masterpiece or pick from over a dozen ideas they have listed. We were on a tour that ordered from Big John's. We liked it so much we came back again the following day to grab another sandwich to eat while we were wine tasting. The store is a full market plus a big selection of pre-made and To Go foods. And they have a great wine selection! Lots of great locals finds there. Mind you... they don't carry Everyone and Everything but they have a lot of the local wineries there at reasonable prices. If you need to put together snacks (aka fancy Chacuterie) for a party, this is the place to go. It's better than Whole Paycheck (Foods) IMO and the prices are better. If you are staying at a rental with a kitchen, definitely come here to stock up on meats, breads and produce. Highly recommend making a stop here!

We also wanted pasta and they have a large variety of high quality pasta. We went to a winery and we were recommended to come here from a local and it's definitely worth stopping by if you are staying in an Airbnb or a great place to find items for a charcuterie board or pretty picnic if you're doing one at the vineyard. We wished we had stopped by sooner in our trip! If comparing to LA grocers, this would be similar to Bristol Farms, but they had a wide variety of prices for their goods so that they had reasonably priced, nice items as well. We also saw cute stationary items in their gift wrap, gift bag and cards area.

It was a bit warm but we really enjoyed dining outside this time. We had a friendly and warm server named Guadalupe and she provided everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Thank you! This time we ordered the 10 Layer Lasagna with the Domenica's sauce and one with Richard's meat sauce. This is still the best lasagna I have ever ate. Love the ricotta, the goat cheese, parmesan and herbs. It just doesn't get any better than this. The Domenica's sauce stole the show though. This sauce is magic! Along with our meal, we paired a 2023 Pastori Old Vine Zinfandel. It absolutely complimented this meal. For dessert we went with the Passion Fruit Sorbet with blackberries. So refreshing and closed out our delightful lunch. I cannot recommend this place enough. Service is always top notch, food is out of this world delicious with so many homemade choices to choose from. Whether you are looking for a romantic meal for two, a family dinner, a wedding rehearsal or reception meal, you will not be disappointed with this choice.

The sauces and pastas are always fresh and delicious. On my most recent trip we opted to also try the steak and it was cooked to perfection and had a delicious, rich butter sauce along with crispy pommés frites. We also splurged on carbs by ordering the buttery garlic bread and we're not disappointed. The experience was further elevated with the amazing service provided by our server. He was attentive and anticipated every need. We also were seated outside and enjoyed the beautiful patio. The ambiance is lovely though I imagine a bit hot if we had visited earlier in the day. On this day we had a beautiful warm autumn evening so we were perfectly comfortable. We look forward to our next visit and highly recommend to anyone visiting Healdsburg as it's a short drive but well worth the ride/drive north.
