    Smashed avocado burger
    Guillaume C.

Good selection of food and beverage. Ambiance is between sports bar and wine bar; they have a nice patio outside, but it's right on the edge of the tarmac, so it can get really loud if there are jets taxiing, and there can also be a strong kerosene smell, so I decided to stay inside. I liked the food I had (avocado smash burger and fries) and the beer was good. They have a nice wine selection but wine by the glass was pricey ($18/glass). About price, they tag on an extra BOH fee (6%) to the bill, so plan on that when looking at pricing. Service was overall fine and I did not have to wait long for my drink, food or bill (which can sometimes happen at airport restaurants). Overall not a bad option if you are the airport, although drinks can be a bit pricey.

Food was top notch! Great place to eat while waiting for your flight. Was not expecting this level of food at the little airport.

We started off with a traditional espresso martini and a pumpkin espresso martini. These were delish!! The pumpkin martini wasn't overly sweet, it had just the right amount of pumpkin flavor. For happy hour food, we ordered 8 oysters and buffalo chicken wings. The oysters tasted so fresh and crisp. The wings weren't battered and fried so they were relatively light with great flavor. Thomas then made us the best dirty martinis with bleu cheese hand stuffed olives. If you're a bleu cheese person, these will be right up your alley. We finished with calamari off the happy hour menu and a glass of Chianti. We had the best time enjoying fabulous drinks and food, we never wanted to leave. I can't wait to visit again, we will definitely be back!

Even though it didn't seem busy. When the fries were brought out the waitress didn't bring napkins or utensils. The utensils I could care less for but eating finger food without having a napkin isn't what I like to do. She left before I realized we didn't have utensils. It was about 5 minutes before another waiter at another table came close enough for me to ask for utensils. The ambiance is always great here. It can be packed and you can still have a conversation with someone. The decor is cigar room classy. Still one of my favorite spots.

As someone else wrote, this…read morerestaurant is HOPPING -- we ended up sitting in what's almost of a storefront because of the size of our group (6), although there's a nicer dining area inside as well as a whole bar area. Service could not have been better or nicer. Chips and salsa both excellent; the folks in our group who'd been here before ordered the guacamole even before we sat down. I love how guacamole is slightly different in each restaurant -- this guac is super fresh and really delicious! One friend wasn't super hungry and so got the chicken tortilla soup -- just know their portions are LARGE. So soup truly is a meal in itself! Two of us got salads -- a friend got the taco salad, and I got the chicken tortilla salad. Honestly, I'd probably get the taco salad next time, but not in the tortilla -- the chicken in my salad was deep fried (I know, I'm in a Mexican place, what did I expect?) and so it kind of overpowered everything. Others got burritos, tacos -- and everyone gave approving "Moos" of enjoyment as they ate. Great drink menu, ice-cold beer. Definitely someplace I'd return to!

Since it was December, they had a holiday drink special, and the Grinch margarita was to die for strong, bold, and packed with great flavor. The chips and salsa are some of the best you'll find, and the burrito hit just right. The servers were friendly, attentive, and super helpful. There's plenty of seating, plus the convenience of a drive-thru. I'll definitely be back here often!

There's almost zero damping and no acoustic management whatsoever. It has the appearance of an attractive venue without the functional reality. It was incredibly painful with the voices of all the talking along with the music ringing in our ears. The conversations of people were amplified by the design of the facility to the point where they were competing with the fully amplified '90s band that I heard called joose. In addition, they appear to have no comprehension about how to actually create an appropriate acoustic management system. There are no damping systems, no soft surfaces, it's like they didn't even ask anybody who knows anything about anything about how to do acoustic design. It's entirely appearance based. We will never return here again for anything other than a cocktail or maybe a karaoke event. It was a waste of $20. Per person. We effectively paid $40 for a couple to be acoustically tortured for 2 hours. We kept hoping it would get better but it didn't I thought maybe once more people came in they might help but it didn't help they just got louder. I can't believe that nobody else has complained about this before.

However, these performers just lip sang and walked around collecting tips. Hardly any interaction with the crowd. The '3 course meal' was awful. First course was a small cinnamon bun and mini chocolate crossiant, second course was a tiny portion of french toast casserole and egg frita, and then dessert. It was all sugar- no protein, or fruit. Definitely felt like a rip off.
