I was ready to find a better nail salon so I searched by rating and this salon seemed to have one of the highest ratings. Unfortunately, I couldn't tell you how they got that rating. Here are a few of the reasons for 1 star: It's super small, there weren't enough technicians. The wait was long by they DO NOT want you to leave so they rush through everyone just so people don't get tired of waiting. 2 different people came in and were told they could be seen right away even though I was one of 4 people waiting already and then when someone tried to leave the guy would make a scene and say " no mo no you stay we take you right away hold on hold on !!" The atmosphere is just plain, boring, white wall , blah. No music no sound on tv. Nothing to do but stare at your nails while they are being painted. The color selection stinks. And I wanted white paint and they said they don't paint nails white, only tips.... okaaaaaay Their menu is out of date. Polish change says it's 5.99 but they told me my daughters simple hand polish change was $10 when I checked out and I saw them do that to someone else. My lady's hand was super shaky and she didn't do that great of a job. I could do better. Only positive thing was that one of the ladies was very sweet. But she wasn't my nail lady so.... read more

I just left there and am extremely disappointed. I was later informed they were short one person but, was there for 2 hours and 40 min for a simple gel mani and pedi. As most know, it'd normally takes a hour, hour and a half. The rest was me waiting. I had to wait for someone to do acrylic on two toe nails - seriously? Shouldn't ALL of them know how to do acrylic?! THEN the person who did my pedi was super sweet however, she couldn't do nails??? Again, shouldn't ALL staff know how to do gel nails?! She had no problems doing it on my toes. So, I sat and waited for this other guy to do them for probably close to 30-40 min. When he did them, he rushed & was unable to do a nail design I wanted as that was the person whom was not in. He did apologize many times but, come on. You only have one person who does nail art?? I was ready to just walk out after having to wait so long just for my nails to be painted!! You'd think they would've offered some kind of discount but, nope. Had to pay $72 - what a ripoff!! They're lucky I'm not a jerk and I even gave them a tip. After being on vacation for two days, the polish came off one of my toenails and partially on one of my fingernails, day three and four; more was partially coming off my other nails. read more

Im very impressed with this nail salon. It's not the fanciest joint but I'm a huge believer in customer service and they really wowed me. Because I was waiting on my husband to get home to make the baby swap I was feeling bad walking in 30 minutes to close. I gave them a call and the man said come on in, no problem. At that point I was very happy that someone would even see me. They were so nice. The two Woman who helped me didn't rush at all. I got a great pedicure and gel manicure. The Woman who did my gels said she had no problem staying a bit late. My nails turned out awesome and the price is also right. 5 stars for this little gem! read more

If you're looking for a thorough pedicure, I wouldn't recommend this place. I came in needing to get rid of my ingrown toenail. The lady did a bit of superficial cleaning. I kept asking her to go a little deeper because I could still feel the pain from the ingrown nail, and when she did try, she went in too far in a weird angle and hurt me. The woman who runs the place got tired of it and rushed to the station, loudly saying "I'll take care of it", grabbed the nipper and tried to fix it in 5 seconds, while saying "that's better, right?" - it wasn't, but at that point I was slightly annoyed and uncomfortable - I just nodded. It's cheap and they do make your nails look nice - most of the time. However, I won't be coming back. read more

By far the best service I have ever gotten in the nail salon. Kim and Don were both fantastic and super polite they both work very efficiently and was just very fun to be around. I requested for a coffin coffin shaped nails with Matt black and my husband's band symbol on my nails they did exactly what I asked for. I started going here when I was 12. I got my first mani-pedi for my first formal dance. Over the years I have moved around, lived in different state as a military wife and gone to dozens of different nail shops. Kim was always the best. About two and a half years ago, they sold the shop and I HATED the new owners. So I tried basically every nail shop in town and was disappointed with all of them. So after 15 years of getting my nails done, the last 10 years at least being an every 2 weeks kind of girl, I stopped getting my nails done. Then in May I was in this shopping center and Don and Kim came running out. They recognized me still and wanted me to know that then bought the shop back. I went to this salon because it was close by and the reviews were great. I am on the fence about coming back and giving them a second chance. I walked in without an appointment around noon. They seemed busy when I walked in but they told me to pick a color and I was seated on the spa chair right away for a pedicure. I was in the chair for about 10 minutes before someone worked on me and the water got cold. They kept apologizing though and were very attentive. I got a basic pedicure with a salt scrub and a leg massage with warm lotion. She took her time but I wish she could have cleaned my nails a little better. I left my polish on a little too long this time. And they usually scrub the top but she didn't. The staff was really nice and some spoke fluent English while others spoke a little. The store is a little outdated but they keep the tables and spas clean. They have two tv's inside and they will put on whatever channel you request for. I'll give them another shot. Update: 1/28/16: The owner reached out and sent a message. I appreciate the customer service and I'll be back for another pedicure. After having lousy service at the place I was going to in Vista for the past 3 years I decided to go on yelp and hopefully find a better place; and Forever Nails is definitely the best nail salon I have gone to in many years. The business is well established, it has been there for more than 20 years; a lady that was getting the full treatment when we arrived has been coming there for more than 15 years. I liked that they were very accommodating to specifically what we wanted done and charged us appropriately. There were no timers set to monitor the duration of our pedicures. And they didn't push you to get anything else done. It's small, clean and tucked away which is nice and calm. This is the only nail salon that I will go to for now on. read more

Last December I went in to get gel pedicure. I've waited six months to see if my left foot would get better. The girl who works there did a great job prior and on my right foot. Then the owner came over to help her. What a mistake. He kept putting the gel polish on and putting my foot in the machine. He burned my nail on my big toe and all the other nails are paper thin now. Went here based off of the reviews. Walked in and was taken care of right away. Jennifer was who took care of me and she was very thorough and efficient. Another young lady painted the candy cane design that I asked for and the Kim came over and added glitter to make it even better! I loved that they care about what they do. Paid $31 for a reg spa pedi with design and eyebrow wax. When I was paying the phone rang. Then gentleman, I didn't catch his name but assume he was a owner, answered the phone and offered to stay late for the lady on the phone if she was going to running late...bc they close at 7pm.
