The service is stellar! The decor is cute! The coffee slaps! The food is really good too. Just go get some. It's worth it and you may try something different and find out you love it.

Amazing Mexican cafe! Visited at 12:45 pm on a Sunday and there was no wait. My boyfriend and I shared the tetela trio (black bean & Oaxaca cheese, chihuahua cheese & salsa verde, hibiscus chorizo & cheese), black bean and avocado tlayudita, and tortilla soup. I could take or leave the soup, but the teletas were incredible and I loved the tlayudita as well.

I got their Breakfast Gordita and an iced horchata. The Gordita has a thick tortilla stuffed with black beans, cheese, egg, salsa habanero, cilantro, so it's super flavorful. The tortilla was pretty hard to cut and it made the insides spill out every time I pressed on it, so it's not the easiest to eat. This place has an awesome cocktail list for $10 so I would come back at night!

Popped in for breakfast the other day and enjoyed the breakfast gordita. It was a bit harder than I was expecting and I wish it had been spicer but that being said everything was fresh and light, even for a breakfast sandwich. Someone next to me was eating the TLAYUDITA which I'm definitely going to get next time. I love that their tortillas are homemade and you can tell they put a lot of love in them. The coffee was delicious. I love the cafe style minimal space. Service is standard. 4.4/5

Amazing food and service. They make their own masa and tortillas. You can really taste the difference. They also have a great happy hour that is not well known but should be!

Trendy bunch spot with minimal signage in the area. Saturday early afternoon, not many people inside, so got a corner table near the windows. Menu looks to be a more traditional Mexican style rather than an americanized version. Decided on the Breakfast Tlayudita ($14) and the Guac/Chips ($12) to share. Guacamole is chunky - would have preferred more salt and spicy to kick it up a notch. The tortilla chips are grainy, but fine with the guacamole. For the entree - a layering of avocado, beans, cheese, and eggs over a fresh tortilla. Loved the ingredients on top, but the tortilla again had that grainy texture and earthy flavor. Service is solid and the ambiance has a relaxed cafe vibe. Better for a healthy breakfast sit down.

Such healthy, tasty dishes! I got the black bean avocado tlayudita and it was so good and filling! A great place to get a healthy meal in a casual setting. Would definitely recommend giving it a try for vegan/vegetarian dishes.

    Chicken tinga tacos

The food was great I love how they used the purple tortillas they have more flavor than the white ones. I had two chicken tinga tacos and one quesadilla I was stunned when I saw they had squash blossom on the menu in Mexico this is normal but you don't really find that here it was really good. I also had a Paloma it was delicious. This place is right up the block from me and I'm so glad I gave it a try.

Everything is gluten free and vegetarian/vegan, so that's nice. You can also buy fresh Mads and freshly made tortillas which for a foodie like me, is huge. But.... The food is extremely bland. Man, coming back from Oaxaca and Mexico City and hunting for authentic, fresh, FLAVORFUL Mexican food will really break your heart. I came here with high hopes that the food would be close to what I'd eaten abroad and boy, it is NOT. Nothing here has any flavor. Not the memelas, the tlayudas, nothing. The horchata is grainy and the agua de Jamaica is bitter. Idk if this is being done to accommodate the blancito palate - you know, those who think black pepper is spicy - but yikes.

A true gem, and possibly the coolest place I've eaten at in the past year. For All Things Good is a molino, restaurant, cafe, bar, community hangout, and education center rolled into one. Walk down the stairs and open the door into a small, cozy dining area. The bar and kitchen were open and practically right next to some of the tables. There is also some outdoor seating available currently. We ordered the tetela trio, oxacan quesadilla, squash blossom quesadilla, and the avocado and herb memela. The tetelas were nice starters, crunchy on the outside with the hefty warmth of the masa from the heirloom corn shining through. They really do feel like the perfect handheld food. The quesadillas were excellent as well. I really felt the squash blossom quesadilla is truly special and quite the opposite of "Americanized" image of the quesadilla. The tortilla had great texture and flavor, which was not disrupted by the mild and rich cheese and the delicate flavor of the squash blossom. I am a sucker for herbs and avocado, so the memela was also perfect. The spice was just biting enough to bring out but not kill the flavor of the ingredients. We had drinks from the coffee bar. My cortado was flavorful and great against the chilly weather. If the weather had been nicer, I would have ordered the horchata for sure. My friends bought tortilla to bring home with them. They pressed and made them right there on the spot, so heads up if you're ordering some to take home with you, as it takes a little time for the restaurant to prepare them for you! (And do order some and don't spend the next day in regret, like I am doing right now). The thing that makes this place truly special is the amount of care and love that is put into the craft and the community that the food represents. They allow other people to come in and use the molino to preserve and advance the creation of masa. The outdoor seating area has planter boxes lined with the burlap sacks that has the names of the families who grew the heirloom corn. The owners and staff look truly happy to see people enjoy the food, asking about your experiences in genuine curiosity. Their menu is flexible to serve the community of Bed-Stuy but also masterfully crafted to teach the patrons about sustainable farming practices. It is a smart and genuine enterprise, and as a patron, I can't help but root for their success.

For All Things Good saw the incongruity between Mexican food in the states and the Mexican food from Mexico, and wants to revolutionize the way many of us think about the tortilla. There is a discernible difference between the tortillas made in house at FATG vs. the ones I've had from most Mexican eateries I've visited in NY, so I'll credit them with opening my eyes to something better than what they call the wonderbread of tortillas. It's particularly impressive that they use a variety of heirloom corns to produce their masa, and you can see the unique varieties just in the different colors of the tortillas used in their tetelas and tlayuditas, both of which I ordered and enjoyed quite a bit, both for the learning opportunity and the flavors. I'm new to Oaxacan food, so the names of most dishes and sections of the menu were completely new to me. I didn't know what a volcan, tlayudita, or tetela were, so I had no expectations for what the dishes would be like-- a novel experience for me. The menu didn't have any descriptions, and I didn't have the benefit of looking up photos on Yelp or IG since the business was so new when I visited. It didn't feel right to hold up the long line by asking the folks at the restaurant what each and every dish was. Ignore the mild annoyance you detect in everything I just wrote and let's just focus on how I embraced the unknown as an adventure, and was rewarded. The food was pretty tasty! The tetela trio allowed me to try three different flavors of these triangle shaped tortilla pockets with different fillings. My frame of reference for something like this is a samosa, but these were way earthier. The hibiscus flavor was sweet and floral, the black bean and lime was heftier and more savory, but my favorite of the three was the one with chihuahua cheese. Each was paired with a small dollop of a different salsa. I highly recommend the memela, topped with a fried egg and incredibly fresh slices of avocado. The chili oil and melted cheese punched up every bite. The name of the game here at For All Things Good is fresh. It's clear the focus is on the quality of each ingredient, and though the flavors were quite subtle in everything I tried, it gave me an appreciation for food that comes straight from the earth-- the opposite of processed. Because of this I didn't mind shelling out more for each small portion. It was a novel experience that I hope becomes less novel in the near future.

So good I had the breakfast tlayudita and blissed out. Perfection. Also such great staff & cute outdoor seating (with heaters for when it's colder). Will be back.

    Chilaquiles rojos
    Alan S.

While the tetelas and tlayudas may be the offerings at this excellent vegan Mexican establishment most pleasing to the eye, without a doubt the chilaquiles rojos were our favored option when it comes to taste. Better than the ones I had in Guadalajara a week ago! Great outdoor vibes on a sunny day as well. I quite like their flexible chairs and tables that they bring out to pair with the benches when needed for accommodating a large crowd.

Do they take walk ins for brunch? And if so do they set aside any amount of tables for walk ins or is it little to no chance to walk in for brunch?

I walked in for brunch on a Sunday and it was super easy to get a table. There were not many people there. It might be busier on a Saturday.

Our reservation was for 8:30pm, but we arrived early and Alejandra, the hostess, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Even though she was ready to seat us, we decided to hang at the bar until the rest of our party arrived and that was the perfect move. Alkarys behind the bar was top-tier. She recommended the Siempre Reposado, and let me tell you... smooth, clean, dangerously good. If you're into tequila, that's a must. Now let's talk about the food. We ordered the quesadilla, rajas, tamales, tacos, and the queso fundido and every single dish hit. The queso fundido came out bubbling, rich, perfectly melted with that pull you want when you scoop it up. The tamales were moist and packed with flavor, wrapped beautifully and clearly made with care. The rajas had that perfect balance of roasted pepper sweetness and savory depth. The tacos? Authentic, well-seasoned, and layered with flavor, no shortcuts. Even the quesadilla stood out, crispy on the outside with that perfectly melted interior. Everything felt traditional, elevated but still true to its roots. You can taste the authenticity. Service was attentive without being overbearing, the ambiance was super casual and laid back, the kind of Brooklyn spot you pull up to for a real dinner experience, not just a quick bite. Highly recommend this place if you're out and about in Brooklyn. Definitely coming back for the tequila, the queso fundido, and round two of those tacos. I'm gonna try eating at the bar to check out the spot in the front of the house.

4.4 and rounded up. Ambiance 4 stars…read more Food 5 stars. Service 4.3 stars. AMBIANCE: Walking to the restaurant from the subway, it's located on an unassuming block at the corner of 4th St and Havemeyer in Williamsburg, front of store doesn't particularly stand out. Walking in they've decorated with creative, crafty (in a good way) touches--the multitude of ropes draped from the ceiling add dimension to the ceiling and the bar back wall is composed of wood pieces forming a multi-colored herringbone pattern. Textured glass pendant lights hanging from the ceiling throw mini geometric patterns across the dark walls, and vibrant canvas artworks add pictorial interest along the walls. FOOD: YUM. I can see why this place was jam packed on a Saturday night, and reservations are needed. Strong recommendation for their tasting menu at $58 pp, what a delightful meal! 8 sharing dishes and 3 desserts were perfect for a party of five, and drinks are separate though you can add a cocktail pairing for $47. For each main they provide a serving per person, and the desserts are shared. I came hungry and was so full by the end of the meal--everything was delicious! - grapefruit guacamole w/house-made chips: the grapefruit chunks were "meaty" and surprisingly went really well with the guac, it added a different citrus element than the usual lime. Comes with a small bowl of maybe 6-7 chips and we asked for two chips refills since the chips to guac and salsa ratio was low. - spicy faroe islands' salmon tartar: tasty and I liked the latin flavors and corn, snow peas, a touch of wasabi. Flavors of the sesame-soy-truffle-lemon vin and crema got a little muddled. Relatively more "generic" dish of the evening though I was here for it! Any dish with fresh tender salmon, I can't complain. - blue crab and carrot tostada, generous shredded crab salad on top of freshly crisp blue corn tortilla. Topped with pumpkin seeds, dill, cilantro, and saffron-orange aioli. - three cheese & artichoke 'queso fundido': served in a very hot ceramic pot and super melty and delicious, eaten with the fluffy grilled pita and green apple slices + salsa. One of the top picks of the evening. - roasted bone marrow and chorizo, served as tacos with fresh blue corn tortillas, and added a sprinkle of pickled onions--does that sound amazing? Bc it was AAHMAZING. - spicy chipotle-guajillo shimp 'diablo' (not spicy): served with pumpkin tortillas and three accompaniments on the side--mushroom chile crisp, horseradish crema, celery 'salsa macha". Part 2 to make your own tacos was another hit! Our entire table agreed if they sold the sauce for the shrimp we'd all buy it. - heritage pork osso bucco 'carnitas' with Fall-spiced black mole, sour cherry mostardo, calabrian chile pesto: cue drooling now. This part 3 of the tacos was served on pumpkin tortillas; the meat was practically falling off the bone, tender, juicy and flavorful. - buffalo-style com 'elote: sooo good too! A little messier to eat since it comes drizzled with spicy hot sauce butter, feta, lime aioli, cilantro, though totally worth it! - Desserts: --green tea matcha churros: comes with two little pots of spiced mexican chocolate & passion fruit sauce. Warm, sugary and crisp without being too sweet. --pumpkin spiced-vanilla flan: topped with sour cherries, cocoa nibs & toasted seed 'trail mix", if you love flan you'll love this, so smooth and creamy with a bit of crunch and tang from the cherries. --pistachio tres leches cake with cream cheese frosting, raspberry, using an olive oil cake: we all agreed this was probably the best tres leches we've ever had. The pistachio nuttiness and the creaminess from the milks paired well. SERVICE: Very friendly and attentive service though it was very loud in the restaurant and they had to really shout. There was a delay in the middle of our meal I think bc kitchen was slammed, after the entree we waited about 35 min for our desserts. Considering they limited the seating to 2 hours and about half of our party arrived 20 min late, and accounting for the long wait pre-dessert, they did us solid by extending our table time by about an hour in total. Also great that they brought the first dessert out with a candle for my friend's birthday.
