Had a very confusing return today (for some unknown reason) and Natalie was very kind and helpful. I do not recommend shopping online because their return/exchange process is kind of a nightmare but the employees in this store are great. read more

The employees were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. There were some sales, but generally the prices are commensurate with other Foot Lockers. The selection was average. I would recommend them because my shopping experience was excellent. read more

Foot Locker - Shoe Stores Near Me - Santa Clara, California

I came in today looking for 2 pairs of shoes. The workers were just quiet and on their phones. I asked for some shoes to try on, but the two big ladies were rude about it. Didn't offer any other suggestions and completely ignored my boyfriend while one of them was on her phone. I left the store immediately, lwk would not come here again. And I'm not the kind of person to give others a hard time at their job, but this just felt so unwelcoming. read more

There was an employee name Josue g that was very kind and helpful to my son I would like to give him kudos for his great customer service A+

My review is for Andrew, Amerie, David, and Dario at the Valley Fair store. I received exceptional service and felt truly taken care of. If anything, my experience made me feel like Cinderella. Footlocker was my last stop in the search for the perfect sneakers to bring with me on a trip to New York. After countless failed try-ons at other stores, I was ready to give up. Then, at a sister store in the mall, I spotted a pair of New Balances I liked. I tried them on, but they were too snug, so I asked for a half-size bigger. Unfortunately, they didn't have my size. However, the associate helping me checked their system and found that Footlocker had it. This was the "Cinderella" moment where I found the perfect fit. Upon entering Footlocker, I was greeted by Andrew, Amerie, David, and Dario. I explained how the other associate had sent me to their store, and the team listened attentively. I could sense their eagerness to help. On their first check, they couldn't locate the size I needed, but they collectively decided to check again. After the second search, they found my size! I tried on the sneakers, and they fit perfectly. I am extremely grateful for their dedication in helping me find what I wanted. I just returned from my New York trip, and the sneakers were fabulous. Footlocker, you've got a golden team! read more

Came in looking for a specific pair of shoes which they did not carry, but Andrew was able to help me find a few other pairs similar to them. He was very helpful and friendly and I appreciate that above all else when shopping. I did not buy anything in the end and selection is limited in my opinion, but I give a thumbs up for service. read more

This is the disadvantage of having kids in your staff. They spend the whole time talking to themselves and not helping customers. I counted about 6 staff members tonight(right now) standing around giggling while myself and my girlfriend were stressed, browsing sneakers. Maybe they forgot that they're in sales, and should be grinding to get us to buy buy buy instead of giggling and chatting. Shoutout to the tall curly haired kid dressed in black in the back room who ended up getting us sizes. Not sure what the other deadweight staff members are for. Certainly not customer service. read more

If 0 stars was possible... Hmm Gisselle the hideous cash register lady, had the upmost nastiest fake lashes on her eyes and the worst attitude to back her up with. No way in hell should our transaction should have ever been that difficult. She mocked me multiple times and I told her to calm down after i requested a TWO shoe sizes. I asked, "Can I please try this shoe on in a 9 and 9.5?" and with confidence she responded with "Who told you we have a 9." ..... I stared at her and she knew what she said was disrespectful and uncalled for. I didn't need to say anything. Awful customer service. Maybe she's homophobic. She was nice to everybody else, especially the workers. But when she looked at me and my friend, oh she looked disgusted and disgusting. read more

Foot Locker - Shoe Stores Near Me - Santa Clara, California

Good place for Adiddas!( On line that is!). You go there after browsing the website and wella! You can only get those items on line! They have some selection of popular brands but limited to whatever is marketed presently. No older or discounted stock really! read more

The worse customer service ever! My son was trying on Air Force 1s ... took it off and put in the box so he can put his shoes back on, and the guy took the box away and put it back in their store room. My son and I just looked at each other like "why did he take it away?" We were so confused because we were going to buy it. I finally asked the lady behind the register as to why the guy took the shoes back and she said she doesn't know but maybe because he thought we weren't going to buy it. NO! You don't assume what you think your customer is going to do! You don't do that!! How did he think we weren't going to buy it? She even made the excuse that they keep the boys behind the register while the customer shops. But see, he didn't keep it behind the register! He put it in the back!! Know the difference! Or dare I even think that they assumed we'll ... steal? Pssshhh!!! Note to shoppers: Champs has way better customer service! Never again will we shop at Foot Locker! read more

Painful shopping experience. 7 sales people with nothing to do. Tuan asked me if he could help me no fewer than three times. I was in the store for less than 10 minutes. It was literally like I was on one of those hidden camera shows. The sales people actually saw the other sales people asking if they can help me, and as soon as 1 walked away another would walk up and ask me if they could help me. It was worse than trying to buy a car. This is my second experience at this particular Foot Locker. I'm not sure if all foot lockers are this horrible for shopping, but I will never return to this one. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

I came here today to exchange a pair of shoes that I got for Christmas. I had my gift receipt and spent some time in the store looking for a shoe to exchange. After finding out that the store had nothing in my size, I asked to order something online. The cashier told me they couldn't order the shoe I wanted online so I ended up getting a store credit gift card. I specifically told them that I checked online yesterday and the online store had my shoe and size, but the cashier told me to just order it at home using my gift card. I come home trying to order it and found out that the gift card was actually a merchandise return card, meaning I cannot use it for any online purchases. Bottom line: I had to return back to mall and got so frustrated with the manager because I had been mislead. What a waste of my time. This store sucks and I am never buying anything from Foot Locker again. Terrible customer service and unreliable employees. read more

Don't go here. We called to ask about two things: 1) What time they were closing tonight. 2) If our order placed online had arrived in the store. Unfortunately, only our first question was addressed (I won't even say "answered" since the cashier mumbled off the phone) before we could even ask him the second question. FOOT LOCKER: Foot Locker. ME: Yes, hello. What time do you close tonight? FL: [inaudible] o'clock. ME: Oh - Sorry? FL: Okay?! Is there anything else?! No? Great. Bye. *click* I was floored. I called back immediately. FL: Foot Locker. ME: Yeah, it would be awesome if you don't hang up on us next time since we actually had another question. FL: [through his teeth] HOW CAN I HELP YOU TODAY, SIR?! ME: ...Well, I ordered a pair of socks online, and I wanted to know if they have arrived in the store yet. (Keep in mind that the cashier was mumbling something to his co-worker the entire time) FL: IF THE WEBSITE SAYS IT'S HERE, IT'S HERE. OKAY?! ME: ... FL: Okay. Thanks. HAVE A GREAT DAY, SIR. *click* Needless to say, I won't be associating myself with these idiots again. I only come here because they carry shoes that I can't find at other stores in the mall and their selection is pretty good. Also, the employees, once they have your attention, are helpful and nice. But I can't give them any higher than three stars. Several times, I've walked in and have seen employees chatting it up with themselves or with other customers instead of helping those, like me, who need help or who have questions. Just the other night, the lady who was the cashier was ringing up two customers and, despite the fact that she was the only cashier at the time and that I was waiting in line, she took her sweet, precious time while chatting with the customers she was ringing up. Thankfully, another employee saw the situation and came over to another cash register to ring me up. Thanks to him, I was able to pay for my stuff quickly and I walked out feeling a little better about my experience. Not only that, but this guy, whose name was TJ, was straight-up friendly and personable. If the owner of this particular Foot Locker is reading this, give that man a raise and/or a promotion. Also, it's worth noting that they sell more than just shoes. You can also buy socks and t-shirts, among other things. 3 stars read more

Great sneaker selection for boys and women, I've always been lucky enough to come in and have the shoes and sizes we want in stock(nephew and I). Service is okay, can't really expect much when it's a full house and everyone wants their shoe size, not that I would except poor service, I will speak up if I'm not being helped ;) . Also, if you're a frequent sneaker buyer you should get on their mailing list, the perks are great, I've received tons of coupons and $ off my purchases which is always nice! read more

Came into buy some adidas, they were unfortunately out of stock. But good thing Ulysses was working he went above and beyond to find me a size near the area. I feel bad I wasn't able to buy the shoes there to credit him for the sale. So thought leaving a review was the least I can do for the trouble he went through to find the shoes for me. Thanks again for your great service today. read more

My husband did an online return today and Ana the manager spoke to him in a very condescending tone about how he needs to go to kids footlocker and directed that the nearest one was in Milpitas. He mentioned to her that the footlocker website states you can return at any footlocker nationwide so when he reminds her of this, she spoke with disgust saying she'd take care of it this one time but normally he'd need to go to kids foot locker. Customer service doesn't seem to be of importance to her and her ignorance is what will deplete their sales. Not recommending this store to fellow shoe heads. Good luck! read more

I wonder why everyone had bad service because when I went in yesterday to buy myself a new pair of Adidas Superstar shoes, I had a great experience. When I first walked in, I was welcomed by Breanna and she helped me find and pick the right shoe size for me to wear. After only 10 minutes, I walked out of there stylish with brand new shoes on my feet. read more

Good that they have HOH. Bad because Foot Locker doesn't give them enough quantities for the population it covers. San Jose, CA is the 2nd largest city in Cali so good luck getting any hot release there. Their lottery system will take up a lot of time and your chances are slim because they don't get enough quantities. Parking at Valley Fair is terrible even on a regular weekend. This isn't as good compared to other HOH's I've been to. What a big hassle for nothing. I only did the lottery there once and decided it's a time suck to go there for hot Jordan / Nike releases. It's only good if you're after regular footwear. read more

Experienced horrible service at this location yesterday!!!! My friend and I went in with the intentions to really purchase shoes since we went to previous shoe stores in the mall, but we didn't really seem to like anything. Off the bat right when we walked in we were not greeted(which is not always an indication to me that they have bad service). We looked around and when I finally found shoes I wanted to check availability on it was tough trying to get the sales associates attention. Some guy literally walked in front of me and I said "excuse me", but still ignored me so I had to follow him and walk behind him for him to realize I was there. He then turned around and said "oh sorry i didn't see you." It took him about 5 minutes to tell me that the size I want on one of the pairs I wanted was not available. So, I chose another style to see if they have it in the size I need and this is where I got ticked off... I stood exactly where he left me so he can easily find me EVEN IF the store was NOT busy at all. 5 minutes passed and I was still there waiting. Another sales associate passed by me and didn't check up on me to see if I'm waiting for something. 10 minutes passed and I was still waiting until I looked around and I found the guy who was originally helping me talking to two guys chit chatting away. In my head I was thinking "okay, maybe he has the shoes with him and he just got asked questions". I was wrong! He went in the back and then came back with a box to give to the two guys he was talking to. From me observing he was very attentive to them and their needs. My friend was able to walk all the way to Macy's to use the bathroom and back, but I was still standing there waiting. At this point I stood behind him and I said "excuse me" one more time, but I was ignored. I decided to go up to another sales associate and explained to him the situation all he said was " sorry, what kind of shoes again?" UH I'm not about to explain it again after waiting so I told him "well your co worker should know." He approached his co worker to let him know I've been waiting. He then came up to me and said "oh yeah we don't have the size. I forgot you were there ". You can't use that as an excuse after making the customer wait for a long time and for ignoring the customer twice. Never coming back here because it seems like they pick and choose who they want to help. Good customer service is definitely NOT in this store. read more

Great staff! Picked up my Kobe 8's on the 20th, and the person who assisted me (Mario) was not a Hypebeast in disguise just there for a discount. He actually was really helpful and patient and understood I needed to try it on properly since I play lots of basketball. My experiences at other footlockers, especially Stoneridge, are pretty bad. I asked for a fresh pair and they were more than happy and willing to give me one untouched pair. This HOH will get my business from now on. read more

I had to buy my demanding brother a pair of shoes for christmas and he is a pretty plain colored guy so I figured foot locker would be the place after going to multiple other stores and walking out unsucessful. I came here and I found the shoe that I needed and it was a good price. This store is usually priced fairly. They do not always have the greatest selection as for colors however they do have a good style of basic sneakers. I got a good deal if you spend over 75 you get 15 off so I was happy with my purchase and i would go back here. There was good customer service here as well. They were very helpful and willing to assist you with whatever you needed. read more

Great place to bump elbows during the weekend. They need to make this place a little bigger. Its always wise to go to the mall or this place during a weekday. There's one dude hes real cool I never got his name but he always says whats up, he's not pushy and he's a cool dude to chop it up with. When they first got the shipment on Force Fields (a pair of foam to prevent your shoes from creasing.) He suggested I wear them, they're alright but the box says it would revive the shoe. (FALSE!) But if you have a fresh pair of shoes it does prevent it from creasing but it a little uncomfortable. This is a good location in the mall to get a release on the Retro Jordans. Spizikes as well. I would choose this place over shoe palace these guys arent pushy and assholes. read more

Well since I love athletic shoes I had to wander in here and take a gander. They have a pretty good selection of women's Nike shoes but since I have a ton of Nike's, I looked and then I took my a$$ right on back out the door after taking a quick look cuz I didn't want to fall in love with a pair right then and there so away I went. I did find the store to be somewhat cramped and that was without anyone in the store. I can only imagine that this place must be hard to try on shoes if there are a bunch of people shopping in here at once such as back to school time, holiday and sales events. read more

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Came here with my friend to purchase shoes and the service was HORRIBLE. When we got inside the store, it was not busy at all. This would make you think that the workers would be more than happy to assist you. Especially, if they're on commission. However, the associate that my friend had asked helped for had no customer service skills. He LITERALLY made her wait twice just to check up on a shoe size. The first time he made her wait at least 5 minutes(which was understandable considering that he was also assisting another customer). However, the second time it was nearly 15 to 20 minutes and his excuse was that he forgot about about my friend. If you're working retail, you should know that customers are important and that you shouldn't say that you forgot the customer. We walked out of the store with no purchase and upset. Thanks to that associate, we spent at least $600 at CHAMPS I recommend that you go straight to CHAMPS and not waste your time here. read more

Monte at Walt Whitman Mall is not a friendly or professional greeter. He has his back to the door to minimize 16 people in store. He disregarded us waiting before another group and allowed 3 other people into the store before us. I questioned him, he didn't respond and the other customer made a profane gesture. Monte should not manage this store. Two registers, only one open with one sales person checking out, 5 other staff walking around helping 8 people? Way too slow. We were picking up a preorder. Why aren't they asking if people have preordered when they are waiting? There would be no line or wait. Very poorly managed location. read more
