I recently got into running. I follow and am subscribed to Kris Hui and Linda Sun which sparked a new love in my life. I used to run and lift weights at the gym religiously. I remember going to the gym when I had pneumonia (pre-COVID and it's not ok regardless). I went through depression and I suddenly found myself wrapped up w/ work, my desire to foster, my religious obligations, my kids (mainly Gavin), and everything else in between. The running started sometime last fall. I never knew how important it is to get a good pair of running shoes until I started to run. Like run w/ a plan and purpose, not just to complete a cardio session. Running is much more than burning calories. I bought my first pair of Hoka's (Bondi 7) and I bought my first pair of Asics (Super Blast) to get me started. I really like my Super Blast that I wanted to invest in another pair from Asics. I wanted a black/white one and one in a lighter color. I made a purchase online and selected pickup at this location because I thought that they have stock available right away. Little did I know that wasn't the case. They were shipped to the store. If i had known that, I would have opted to have it shipped to my home instead. The price i paid is the same as the website. It's $165 for a pair. Not only that, the email notification stated it would be available for pickup Saturday 1/25 but it wasn't available until Tuesday 1/28. I called the store and confirmed my order was ready and asked which entrance I need to go to since I was not planning on walking around the mall. The girl that answered was patient and informative. She does not know which entrance I need to go to but she asked me to be on hold until she gathered information. I parked at Entrance 4 and found the store w/o any issues. She asked if I wanted to see them and I did. She opened the box and I saw 2 pairs. I was perplexed because the Asics representative (855) 233-3120 told me that only 1 pair shipped. So another thing that was a little annoying to me but new year, new me... I don't want to sweat the small stuff. Even though my order was late and I was given incorrect information, staff at this store were patient, friendly, and informative. The store is bright and looked clean and organized. I'm sure I'll be back but not for their online pickup option. My suggestion is to just go to the store and see the selections for yourself. read more

I bought these shoes for working out and they fit perfectly but after only a few months of usage the back heel of the shoe, the cushion part that cushions the back of your heel, the part that's at the top of the heel of the shoe, the cushion fell to the bottom of the back of the heel part of the shoe. This has never happened to other shoes of mine. The cushion part is now at the bottom of the shoe and it almost forces the heel of my foot up and out of the shoe now. I would never recommend these shoes to anyone. When I reported the issue to the company they denied my claim saying the shoe is not defective. I sent photos but it is difficult to see the issue in the picture because it is the cushioning that is inside the heel and it is behind cloth. If you put you finger on the inside heel you would notice the problem immediately. If you buy this product you will not only have have a bad product and waste your money but you will also not have a reliable warranty with the company. I would recommend going to another company. This one is not reliable. read more

They are doing BOGO promotions. Getting a pair of Gel Kayano 29 and Gel Nimbus 24 for a total of $160 is a awesome -- plus another 10% discount for being a AsicsOne member. The store is a bit disorganized. But that is expected for any outlet store. The workers were extremely helpful for searching my preferred colors and size. There was a long queue for Nike but no one is visiting Asics. This is surprising for me. Overall: highly recommend if you can find your size. read more

Great store! I could go broke here because I want to buy every pair of gel shoes, every pair of leggings, every pair of running shorts, every cute workout top, and of course did I mention the (amazing) gel shoes!!! I ended up buying a pair of gel running shoes (Gel Nimbus 23), a pair of gel trail runners, and a pair of everyday gel shoes (soooo comfortable to walk in). Whoever invented gel shoes was a genius! Dang! What an amazing brand! Just perfect! P.S. Very good customer service. I spent hours and hours here just trying on a million pair of shoes on Sunday evening. There was one guy and one gal working until closing time. I must have left a couple of dozen pairs shoes on the floor (at least) for them to put back in the right box and return to the shelves after the store closed. They were probably ready to go home on a Sunday evening but they had to tidy up the shoes all over the place. Anyone who can put up with me being picky for hours and hours in a shoe store is a saint (and also deal with the shoe mess that I inevitably leave behind because I like to try on everything in the store before I buy). I'm quite self-aware of that. Sorry, Amazon and Zappos: when it comes to shoes, I can't do them online. Must try them all on at the same time to compare and find the most comfy ones. read more

Went in after the mask mandate ended June 15th. After walking through numerous shoe stores without a problem of not wearing a mask(I am vaccinated). I entered ASICS and the girl there asked me if I had a mask , I said yes, she asked if I can put it on, I said no, I'll go to Puma Instead across the way. I have been wearing Asics shoes for almost 10 years now and I have to say that these are the best made running shoes! They last for a long time and even when you wear them out from running a ton, they never fall apart. These shoes are so well made it is worth every penny! Now that there is an outlet at the Great Mall, I am so excited! I came here during Christmas Eve and Kevin D was so nice. It was a crazy day and he was very patient and took the time to explain to me the difference between each shoe and what they are made for. I have been to other Asics store and outlets and I have to say they really prep their employees to know the difference between each shoe in full detail. It was such a crazy shopping day and Kevin was so nice to help me find my size on the floor and when he couldn't find it, he went to the back and took a good 10 minutes to look for them. There are some people that go out of their way to make things easier for you. At Asics you will usually find people to help you find the perfect shoe. I will always be back for more Asics shoes! The employees were super nice, rather than getting 1 pair of shoes, I walked out with three pairs! Thanks to their sale section. Their shoes are really comfortable, but I suggest getting the more expensive ones. The cheaper ones tend to be less comfortable. My boyfriend got a pair years ago and they are still in great shape, so I feel as though the prices are worth it as opposed to $150 shoes that will only last about one year. read more

Extremely rude customer service. We purchased some stuff from the Livermore location, and the folks at that store did not remove the magnetic tag from one of the items. I went to the Asics store at Great Mall (with the receipt) to get the tag removed. The store manager's attitude really was 'it's the other store's fault'. Oh and yes: they also offered a whopping $0.80 discount for my inconvenience. Yes, 80 cents! They helped with removing the magnetic tag though. read more

First of all, this store is all but that. It is always in disarray and tore up. Product is expensive and yes comfortable running shoes but not really stylish. For Christmas my husband purchased a pair of shoes for me but they were half a size too big. I brought back the shoes in pristine condition with the original receipt and asked to exchange but they did not have my size. I was told that I needed to have the exact card to put the money back on OR I could get a store credit. I then asked if they could order my size and I would exchange them upon arrival. The clerk just said NO. I do not normally wear this brand of shoes so I did not want a store credit. I have the original receipt so giving me MY money back should not be a problem. She refused and I was left having to come back with my husbands card. Horrible customer service!! I will never buy shoes here. Not worth the effort or pain of dealing with incompetence. read more

Very happy with my experience here. I love my Asics that I have worn for the last 3 years, but they finally wore out and I wanted a new pair. I heard about the Asics store at the Great Mall and drove out here specifically for a new pair of shoes. I was helped by a couple different ladies, both were extremely friendly, smiling, and knowledgeable about their shoes. I asked many questions, and tried on at least 6 different pairs of shoes before settling on the Gel Nimbus which they told me was the most cushiony which is what I like in a shoe for walking in all day. I got it on sale, which was a bonus! I would definitely come back again for my next pair of sport shoes. read more

Very bad service. Went there to return, exchange few items purchased online. Even though had called up prior to visiting store and explained what I needed to the staff got a ok from them and asked me to come next day when manager is in. Next day went there manager refused to help me could not return most of the items also did not help me with the exchange. What a waste of time especially during this Covid-19 situation. read more

First visit here today and am thoroughly impressed! The entire experience was flawless, from calling and speaking to Robert who was extremely polite and professional to set a particular size aside to arriving to find that all the employees were aware of that said shoes were set aside (excellent communication among staff!) The amazing deal of buy one get one free proved to be harder than expected as there are so many choices but Cesar who helped me was outstanding as he was not only patient and extremely knowledgeable but a genuinely nice person. The customer service here is condescending and unhelpful. Without reason, Trey was extremely rude - condescending and belittling - in his interaction with me. Seeing a new Asics store in the mall prompted me to guide my family towards the store so I could get more information about the different types of shoes from a sales associate. I waited for Trey to finish speaking with a customer and asked him about the three lines of shoes. He told me something along the lines of how one shoe has arch support while the other one doesn't. When I asked him what arch support means, he paused and looked at me totally perplexed and condescendingly responded, "You're asking me 'what does arch support mean...?'" I asked him if he could elaborate more to which he retorted, "Do you have flat feet or what?" I told him I'm not sure... and unhappy with his patronizing attitude I told him I felt he wasn't being helpful and I didnt appreciate his attitude. He then turned around and strutted / swaggered away from me. This was my first interaction with actual Asics personnel (in the past, I've bought online). Management should get a grip of the situation before untrained, snobby store employees start turning away loyal customers from the brand. This left a bad taste in my mouth about Asics and ruined a nice day at the mall. read more
