The new best Fogo de Chao in DFW!! The team is doing an amazing job bringing the true brazilian experience in food and service. Ask for the roasted pinapple!!!

This review is of the all day happy hour at Fogo. It's absolutely amazing. The ambience of the restaurant is superb. The all day happy hour is in the bar area and the patio area. Both areas are really nice. Our bartender/waitress was Jordan. She was amazing. She was very attentive, gave many suggestions, brought extras for us to try and made the experience memorable. We will definitely be back. I had the cucumber mint splash cocktail. It was refreshing, strong, and very tasty. I can't wait to go back and try another cocktail. We tried the lobster and shrimp tacos and the lamb chops. The lobster and shrimp taco were delicious. The lamb chops were also very good. This is honestly one of the best happy hours in DFW metro!

I've visited this location twice now and my experience was similar both time. Going for lunch/brunch is not super busy and easy to get a table. The salad bar is well stocked. The servers are attentive and come around often. The meat service comes out is waves. There are long pauses and then too many at once, but overall not a big issue. What I do think is an issue is that both times, the lamb chops did not come out until I specifically requested them toward the end of the meal despite other meats coming out multiple times. If a meat option is advertised it should be in the rotation and not held in the back until someone asks for it. There were also many flies/gnats flying around our table. More the first visit, but present at both. Overall the food and service is good. Just request the lamb early if you want to see it more than once.

Nice selection from smaller, cramped salad bar!

Have returned a few times since my initial review. All in the lounge for their happy hour. Definitely the way to go! $10 burger with fries more than tops Hudson House's. And an $18 "one trip" salad bar option is perfect. Other apps and drinks with a nice, never too crowded atmosphere.

Been here many many years ago and brought my customer here recently, a large group. The process of booking was very simple and the group sales was one of the most easy I've done. The have one of the most extensive salad bar options plenty of vegetarian options. To be honest I enjoyed it more than the meat option. I didn't take pictures of the meal without the people so I only took after the fact. Service was amazing and the customer had a great experience

As you can imagine, every time I drove past this restaurant on the way from Shabbat services, I kept telling myself that I would stop by and eat there. Well, today was the day. Fogo De Chao, located in North Irving, TX., Walking into this restaurant is like stepping into sure elegance, well maintained, very clean, neat well organized. Even the outdoor seating area was well organized. As we walked in we were promptly greeted by Mr. Oscar, the manager, with a great smile, welcoming demeanor, polite very efficient and he led us to our table. As he led us to our table he gave the impression that we were the only two customers that mattered the most. The atmosphere of this restaurant is mostly quiet, they have music playing but you can still carry a conversation without any problems. Our server was Mr. Maycol, very welcoming polite and extremely efficient. He took our drink order which we opted for water and we the full Churrasco @ $49.00 each. The young lady Ms. Sierra, the sweetest waitress, with the prettiest smile, polite, efficient and moved with grace and purpose brought us our drinks and was very attentive as well. I couldn't believe how expedient all there servers wereand moved with such grace and well organized. Mr. Khalil, server, and Mr. Jonathan, customer service representative, also stopped by our table and asked how we were enjoying our meal. Although we were not the only customers in this gorgeous restaurant they made us feel like we were. The food served here is top notch without question. Walking to the salad bar, in of it's self was a feast your eyes dancing from food item to food item neatly displayed. The chicken salad was utterly amazing and it was paired nicely with the lettuce, arugula, etc. Then the full array of meats started coming to our table, from lamb, beef rib, rib eye steak, chicken, and other meats I can't clearly remember as well as roasted cheese with honey it was so good you want to slap your momma. The beef rib, I highly recommend, the taste is unbelievable, I wasn't to keen in the taste of the lamb, but the rib eye, and other beef meats so delicious and very tender. Then came time for deserts, which we got a chocolate molten cake and side of blue belle vanilla ice cream for $13.00 and cheesecake brulee $12.25. Both desserts were truly amazing. From service to food all was amazing. Mr. Oscar, is a great manager it's indicative, in how his staff carried their selves very attentive, ready and willing to serve a great reflection of Mr. Oscar. I will come again, but in the meantime please stop on by. Say hello to Mr. Oscar and his fantabulous team. Ms. Sierra please keep on smiling.

We love Fogo! I often go to another location for work but this was my first time to the Irving location & my husbands first time ever. We went for his bday & he was in absolute heaven! The server started off really great. My husband got a drink he ended up not liking & the server didn't hesitate to offer something else. We got a pink cocktail (can't remember the name but it's fantastic). Downside is there are a lot of fruits & ice so we went through them fast & we didn't see our server much later into the meal so we didn't order more drinks. The salad bar was excellent as always. The bacon is so good it should be illegal. The salad options are always fresh & it's hard to hold back from getting a lot of everything. The meats are all good but my top choice is the house steak & my husband's was one of the lamb options. Some of the other options had less flavor but still good. They were so sweet & gave my husband a dessert for his bday. The tres leches is by far the best. I enjoy their other desserts but the tres leches left us speeches. If you just go for the dessert you won't be disappointed! The full experience of Fogo is amazing. I loved the intimacy of this location & looking forward to going back in the future.

This was such a lovely experience. Our server Destiny was beyond amazing. She treated us so good. Family of 7 and she was on top of it! Made this special night amazing as our son is about to married in a couple weeks and we were celebrating. Thankyou for such amazing service. She did us so good on the Brazilian bread as well . The food was very good and the (salad bar) which has hot items was wonderful probably one of my favorite parts of the meal. As for dessert it did not disappoint! I got the creme brûlée cheese cake and I'm sure I'll be gaining some pounds as I plan to eat every last bite. Large portion and tasted fresh! Thankyou you are all so wonderful!!! P.s having the Brazilian bread for breakfast

They've recently updated their menu with several a la cart items, and I came to try the Prime Rib. Wow. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The one major change I've noticed is Brasão is getting busier. Used to, I could walk in a get a table, but now I make sure I use OpenTable to reserve a seat. If you've never been to a Brazilian style restaurant (in the US), the first thing you'll notice is the opulent salad bar that sits in the center of the restaurant. There is also a dedicated bar area that's separate and elevated, so you people watch from above. 1 Star. Service - Brasão has the best severs (again I'm biased). The entire staff works in unison with dedicated roles. Your sever will take your order why gauchos walk around cutting meat. Speaking of cutting meat, if you order the Prime Rib on Wednesday, they will cut it at your table to order. 1 Star. Food - The Prime Rib is absolutely sensational. The Prime Rib is so tender, and the au jus adds a little salt. The Prime Rib is sliced and dressed at your table, so you can see the heat and seasonings up close. My bite was so tender and flavorful, it did not need extra au jus. While the Prime Rib is ala cart, it still comes with the standard sides of mashed potatoes, fried polenta, and fried bananas. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. My first visit to Brasão was because the meats were so good. I keep coming back because the service is amazing and the menu continues to evolve. See you next month! 1 Star.

The restaurant is very small and has only one toilet in the women's restroom and one in the men's, which is especially inconvenient when serving large parties. The fried bananas were flavorless, drinks do not come with refills, and they don't have cups with lids for children to help prevent accidental spills. The chicken lasagna from the salad bar was good, and the fresh limeade was definitely a highlight. At $40 per person, it is about $10-$15 cheaper than some competitors, but the lower price was reflected in the overall experience. The meat is equal if not better than Texas de Brazil but that could be because when i went to Tex de Brazil it was suuuuper busy. The meat at Chama was perhaps a bit more memorable due to being hotter/fresh off the grill vs having made its rounds more. This is the one major thing that was missing from Chama: the mint chutney. That is a standout item at Tex de Brazil and given the fact that both serve multiple types of lamb, it was deeply missed at Chama. Idk im just a condiment junkie but idc how well the meat is seasoned and how high the quality (and Chama is unparalleled in both of those areas) i prefer to have some type of sauce for dipping. Ambience couldnt be better. Beautiful building and entrance, gorgeous lighting fixtures, just a really beautiful upscale experience Service was absolutely phenomenal. Recently, I had lunch here, and they now have a new farm to table menu that really exceeded my expectations. The Ranch has reinvented itself many times, and now it's a restaurant I would visit for the food AND atmosphere. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - At its core, it's a bar with several indoor and outdoor dining areas with a country theme. The Ranch is so versatile that you can host a private event while people dine in the main area while others hang out at the bar. There's also a charming outdoor area that is nice if the weather is cool. Best of all - it's full of people and energy. 1 Star. Service - Our server was great. We explained the concept, went over the menu, and while a large table occupied his time, several of the staff were helpful. Everyone was dressed in Cowboy/Ranch gear. Texas Southern Hospitality is real. 1 Star. Food - My most recent visit was like visiting a new restaurant. The Ranch's menu has changed, and everything was new. I started with the pork belly appetizers, which was a great start to meal. The tender pork meat had a layer of sweet + salty belly that melts in your mouth. I went with the Barbacoa Grilled Cheese that was one of the best I've ever had. The barbacoa (shredded BBQ beef) was the star and was better than any brisket grilled cheese I've had. The sourdough was grilled with lots of butter, so after devouring the sandwich I had to wash my hands. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Absolutely. I had been to The Ranch so many times I considered a place to gather for Happy Hour. Not anymore. The new menu is incredible, and I can't wait to return. 1 Star.

This place gives Texas Chic vibes in a fun way. The hostess were very welcoming and helped us to our table shortly after we arrived. We decided to share a few dishes and really enjoyed them all. - The Meat and cheese board was a great assortment of items. While I didn't eat the meat, my friends really enjoyed the options. The cheese, fruit, nuts and spreads were all delicious. - The Margarita pizza had an interesting twist with the addition of pecans. I really enjoyed it however, I wished the tomatoes would have been consistently sliced as some were barely if at all sliced so you had to do a little more work to keep them in place. - The House salad was good and I enjoyed the vinaigrette it was served with. We also shared a bottle of the house white wine which we all really enjoyed. It wasn't clear from the wine menu that this was an option, but our waiter recommended it and even brought us a sample. The service of a waiter was a mixed bag. I'm not sure if it was the time of our reservation or what else may have been going on but we didn't find him to be as helpful without being prompted, at times made a feel a bit rushed and moved on from us quickly. It was the first time for at least two of us but he didn't ask this nor mention anything about the menu or concept to us. The one exception was with the wine recommendation. Overall we all enjoyed the food enough to want to return with hope for a better service experience.

Texas de Brazil is always an experience, not just a meal. If you're celebrating a special occasion…read moreor simply want to indulge, this is a place that's well worth the visit. From the moment we were seated, the service was attentive, welcoming, and made us feel well taken care of throughout the evening. The endless selection of grilled meats was cooked to perfection, with each cut arriving fresh from the gauchos and full of flavor. I also loved the expansive salad area, which offers so much more than just salad. From artisan cheeses and charcuterie to fresh vegetables, soups, and other sides, there's something for everyone, even before the main event begins. The atmosphere feels upscale yet comfortable, making it a great choice for date nights, celebrations, or when you simply want to enjoy a memorable dining experience. Between the exceptional service, incredible variety, and consistently high quality food, Texas de Brazil continues to be one of my favorite steakhouses. Oh and my favorite?? The caipirinha and the garlic picanha. I'll definitely be back.

My daughter wanted to come here, and we had been gifted a Texas de Brazil gift card, so that's…read moreultimately what brought us in. We normally prefer Fogo de Chão, and unfortunately this visit reminded me exactly why. We made a reservation for a party of five: two adults and our three children. From the beginning, there seemed to be an unusual amount of confusion over the fact that we had three kids with us. Three separate employees, including servers and management, asked us how old our children were. I answered every time. What really crossed the line for me was when one of the employees walked up to my 13-year-old son and directly asked him how old he was. The way the question was posed made it seem like there was somehow a right or wrong answer. He hesitated for a second because he was caught off guard, and when he answered "13," she responded, "You had to think about it?" That kind of interaction is completely unnecessary. Whatever your age policy is, ask the parents, explain the policy, and move on. Don't repeatedly question a family and then put a child on the spot like you're trying to catch somebody in a lie. It immediately changed the tone of the entire experience. On top of that, we had to specifically request things like the mashed potatoes and rolls instead of them simply being brought to the table. These are small things individually, but when they keep stacking up, they become the experience. The bigger problem is that Texas de Brazil is no longer competing in a vacuum. Fogo de Chão already provides a better experience in my opinion, and there are more independent Brazilian steakhouses opening that offer great food without the feeling of a large chain fumbling through basic hospitality. The food here was already second to Fogo for us. Add the customer-service experience we had with our children, and I don't see a reason for my family to return or recommend this location. There were simply too many unnecessary disappointments in one visit.
