I really loved the taste of everything that I grabbed. This is my family and my favorite restaurant to dine in.

Dimassi is an all you can eat Mediterranean Buffet with locations all across DFW. The buffet is $25 per person for dinner They have decent selection with your usual Mediterranean items like hummus, baba Ganoush, pickles, feta dip.. they have some great salads like tabuli, broccoli, etc The meats include gyro meat, chicken and beef kebabs. They have freshly made pita, pizza and Zaatar bread cooked in the oven. They also have some Indian curries which is very weird to me but it might work for others. They have some tea and coffee options to end your meal. The desserts consist of baklava or rice pudding etc Now coming to what doesn't work. The hygiene is a huge concern. I saw a guest put their bare hands in the pita basket, pick a pita and then put it back in the basket with others. The buffet area is not commonly cleaned with food bits everywhere. Some customers were touching things and cross contaminating the main dishes. I know it's not the same with the Plano location so I hope manager of this location pays attention to their patrons and ensure basic hygiene standards are followed. I was overwhelming grossed out from it and don't think will ever be back to this location. Ambiance is loud as well with kids screaming and running all around the restaurant, so overall it's a pass for me. read more

I've eaten here several times and always thought it was excellent, but my visit about six months ago told a different story. Something had definitely changed, maybe new ownership or a different kitchen team, because the flavors just weren't there anymore. The dishes that used to stand out tasted surprisingly dull. As someone who really enjoys Mediterranean food (I've been to Turkey and Greece many times), I was genuinely disappointed. Sadly, that last experience was enough to keep us from returning. I really enjoyed this buffet. I went with a large group of my family, about 12 of us, including young children the day after Thanksgiving and the food was very good. I really like the chicken curry and the rice and the fact that it was a buffet was really fun. It cost about $20 per person and it included all you can eat buffet. They also had great ice cream, which the kids loved. Also the chai tea was so delicious and not too sweet! The only reason I took a star down was because I didn't like the kebab and meats as much. They also didn't have servers (not needed) but kept the areas cleaned and cleared tables pretty quickly. Staff was also friendly and helpful! read more

I've been to this buffet twice and it is becoming my regular stop when I need to eat healthy and be part of that"Mediterranean diet" fad. The place is huge with the buffet line on one side and a brick pizza oven on the other side. The buffet line consisted of various salads, such as couscous, tabouleh, and grilled veggies. Other items include gyro shavings, chicken curry, dolmades, fried chicken, baklava, flat beads, and freshly made pittas. There are other items that are too many to mention. $20 for lunch. read more

Dimassi's offers a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Walking in, you seat yourself and pay at the counter on your way out. Everything is self serve including getting your own utensils, napkins, and drinks which are included. I've been here twice now for dinner during the week, and I emphasize that everything is self serve. I have not had anyone even come clear away plates on both occasions. Service is lacking at this location, and I tip accordingly. Luckily it was just my niece and I and we eat two plates each and we're done, however, if it was a bigger group I'm sure the plates will stack up quickly. Speaking of which, this location has a dining area that is quite large with several tables accommodating both small and large parties. As for the food though, it's delicious. They have what seems to be endless salad options, cold appetizers, soups, different rice options, several hot vegetarian dishes and oh all the meats. My favorites include the hummus, fried cauliflower, chicken curry, and chicken and kafta kabobs. I also enjoy the avocado hummus, dolmas, falafels, and fried chicken. Yes, you didn't read that wrong. I'm guilty of grabbing a slice of freshly made pizza as well. For dessert, I tend to go for some fruit. I love coming here, because I leave full without the greasy heavy feeling after typically indulging in a buffet. read more

I was in town for a conference and ate here twice. It was one of the easy options for vegans and vegetarians. The price was reasonable and the food was fantastic, particularly the bread, hummuses and pickled turnips. So yummo! Both of the times that I was there, however, their falafel were charred like coal brickettes. Somebody is frying them way way too long. How strange the Grapevine location doesn't pop up on Yelp search when it's been here for 2-3 years. Dimassi's is a good buffet. They do a great job at maintaining proper temperatures for food, cleanliness, and variety. It's a flat rate all you can eat with seating for large or small parties. There is someone walking around to bus your tables/ keep clear as you grab a new plate every buffet trip. The bathrooms are a bit swampy, I'm amazed at how many adults have zero consideration for others, and based off what I saw- yes it was an adult, but unfortunately that means Staff may need additional trips to check on latrines. Overall easy meal if you're looking to try a variety of Mediterranean cuisine, or have a vegetarian in your group as they have many veggie options. read more

I loved my trip here. I didn't mind the self service aspect at all because it made the extremely affordable price point even better without a tip. The food was delicious and fresh with tons of options. Hummus, greek salad and roasted chicken in so many varieties with fresh pita available near the pizza oven. This place is near Grapevine outlet and there are more Dimassi's buffet popping up and we like the chain. For prices, we paid around $21 dollars for dinner all you can eat which is not too bad. I believe for lunch prices are around $15 dollars. On weekends they serve the lamb shank for dinner maybe that is why there is a little bump in the price. What I liked was the kale Caesar salad, the potatoes, hummus, ground beef kabob and lamb. The lamb was moist and juicy and would recommend. I do like the rose water too. Chicken can be a hit or miss as it can be dry or moist. I like the fried chicken. Overall, the food was good and very consistent across the chains. read more

Well, what a surprise. I went out looking for a different restaurant and found this one. I love mediterranean food and this was a nice find. I walked in to a shocking display of mediterranean food everywhere. I walked down the entire line and this was a no brainer. The food display was awesome. I got a plate and loaded it to the top with salad, a few dips, hummus, wacamole, rice, vermicelli, gyro meat and a few other things. I finished up with a slice of baklava. The entire meal was excellent. I wish we had a place like this in Florida. I'd be there everyday. Great for families and kids. I highly recommend this place. read more

This latest establishment of Dimassi's is amazing. The place is new and fresh - located where the Fuddrucker's was before. Customer service here is spot on, and the lineup of food is extensive. My personal favorites here are the salads and the very well crafted falafel. You can also find a variety of chicken, vegetable, pasta, and rice dishes. The lineup is easy to follow - and be sure to check the other side of the serving area for an offering of breads, flatbreads, and desserts. This place never disappoints and I am always happier leaving then when I showed up. I am usually rolling out, but that's besides the point. read more

So I'm not sure if my taste buds have changed or if it's all due to location and management but I noticed that I reviewed another Dimassi's many (many!) years ago and didn't enjoy it at all. Since last month, however, I've come to this location four times and each time I leave really satisfied. I love everything about this place. It's close to my house, it offers a wide range of healthy, fresh dishes and there are no waitresses. I love that it's self-serve and you get your own silverware, drinks, find a table, and the only interaction you have with staff is on your way out when you pay. Sometimes I just want to eat hummus and rice without speaking to someone you know? The dishes are not outstanding, but they are very tasty and fresh. My absolute favorite items are the baba ghanoush, the dish that is similar to the chicken biryani, and the freaking garlic sauce, which is probably the best I've had in any restaurant ever (according to my taste). It's so garlicy to the point where it'll burn like horseradish, which is what I love. The meat can be a bit dry at times but it's still very tasty. I also love how the employees continually clean the serving area, making the line look inviting and not like your typical buffet mess. Great food at a decent value. read more

We usually love coming to this location in Grapevine. Unfortunately, this time the Pita bread was made so poorly and they were very dry and cold. When I asked the lady to make new pita bread she said no and then proceeded to say that she can warm my pita bread that's on my plate. All the bread was made so tiny and some were not even baked fully and still raw. The size of the bread is truly just not made with authenticity and the person who made them just absolutely didn't care if the dough was ready or not before baking them in the oven. The way this pita bread was made is a disgrace to my Arab Mediterranean culture! I'm so embarrassed! If you want to represent Arab Mediterranean food, then please make sure that your Latino bakers know how to properly know when the dough is ready and make sure the size of the pita is correct. Not just to throw in any pieces of dough in the oven you have and call it a day. Also, if I'm telling you to please remake them, then please do and make sure they are fresh and hot and ready for your customers to eat at top notch! read more

Dimassi's is my new favorite lunch spot. It's healthy and the food is delicious. From what I see they use olive oil for most of their dishes instead of seed oils which is amazing. It's very clean inside and they offer gloves for the buffet as well. The people that work there are all very kind and helpful. We will most definitely be back. read more

So many food options from lamb, chicken, chickpea dishes, 8 different salads, lots of desserts, fresh bread and much more. I can't wait to go back, I got full so quick I didn't get to try the other dishes. Super healthy buffet and very flavorful! You seat yourself and then pay at the end when you are leaving. There are no waiters, just busboys to clear your plates. The have tons of self seating areas. Even a couple of rooms to host graduations and parties.
