Came in from out of town. Lovely variety and exceeded my expectations! Freaky baked bread in a brick oven. Pastries, numerous Delicious salads, a variety of soups and all kinds of drinks of all types and some even home made! In Seattle, this would be the price of one dish! I just cannot get over how delicious the hot bread is with the baba ganoush and fried eggplant! When the Tabbouleh is good you know the rest will be great and it was. Beautiful, open, clean, and friendly environment. Seat yourself and go straight to buffet. Food for even picky eaters. I loved the falafel, spicy hummus, chicken kabob, eggplant, and baklava. This place is not well run. I'm sad to say. I LOVE Mediterranean food & have enjoyed many local buffets. This is on the lower end of the scale, in terms of environment, as well as excessively high pricing for what is received. The place feels cheap - bathrooms ration paper towels, chairs are dirty, setup is not intuitive, and worst - bugs are all over the place (at least when I visited). Flies by the plates at beginning of buffet line, and at least 50 small bugs crawling all over the table I chose - I had to move because the bugs started crawling into my food! Another patron stormed out the door while I was eating - warning us to "look closely at our food - be careful" - and expressing disgust that he had found bugs *in* his food... The bug issue is most concerning. I can imagine the health department would *not* like what they see going on. When I spoke with the manager about my concerns (and about the other patron), he quickly deflected responsibility, claiming he couldn't control bugs coming in the doors, something about the nature of the oil, etc. I disagree - you can absolutely make your restaurant better. It's possible there are some cultural differences as well. They gave me 25% off my meal (I didn't ask for this, they just offered), but sadly I won't be back. I couldn't really finish my meal in enjoyment after the amount of bug issues observed & heard about. 3 strikes, you're out. read more

We usually love coming to this location in Grapevine. Unfortunately, this time the Pita bread was made so poorly and they were very dry and cold. When I asked the lady to make new pita bread she said no and then proceeded to say that she can warm my pita bread that's on my plate. All the bread was made so tiny and some were not even baked fully and still raw. The size of the bread is truly just not made with authenticity and the person who made them just absolutely didn't care if the dough was ready or not before baking them in the oven. The way this pita bread was made is a disgrace to my Arab Mediterranean culture! I'm so embarrassed! If you want to represent Arab Mediterranean food, then please make sure that your Latino bakers know how to properly know when the dough is ready and make sure the size of the pita is correct. Not just to throw in any pieces of dough in the oven you have and call it a day. Also, if I'm telling you to please remake them, then please do and make sure they are fresh and hot and ready for your customers to eat at top notch! read more

Dimassi's is my new favorite lunch spot. It's healthy and the food is delicious. From what I see they use olive oil for most of their dishes instead of seed oils which is amazing. It's very clean inside and they offer gloves for the buffet as well. The people that work there are all very kind and helpful. We will most definitely be back. read more

Went there for the 2 nd time and the food was not that great, something in the salad was spoiled and the beans were hard as a rock, the bread was way too thick. If you like Arabic food, then this place is for you. I was staying in next door hotel and took a lunch to go. Lots of vegetarian options plus chicken with rice pilaf, beef kabobs. Three flavors of hummus, eggplant dip, cold stuffed grape leaves, falafel, tabouli, multiple salads, plus baked pita bread and sweets. Lunch buffet was $20 and take-out was $10/lb. Open area with lots of seating. Not much on decor but the food is authentic! read more

It's amazing to see what they have done with this former Fudruckers location! The location is very open and bright. Staff that I interacted with was friendly as I walked in and checked out. You serve yourself food and drink, and pay on your way out. There is a wonderful number of vegetarian/vegan friendly options on the buffet. Left extremely full! As well if you do have kids with you they had chicken options my kids liked, fruit & some pizza options. I recommend coming for week day lunch if you can manage it, due to the price of the buffet being on the higher side of buffets ... but with as many fresh ingredients they use I totally understand the pricing of the buffet! This is an amazing restaurant! Try to go hungry! Lots of food choices.i had a Gyro, the yogurt mint sauce. And veggies was nice. The yellow rice even more amazing. Came in with wife and kid. Asked for more pita as they were out and for cheese pizza (for the kids). Was advised by the two guys one of the new to allow him to get someone. We were there an hour and nothing. Someone asked the guy who cleans up dishes to make more pita he jumped on it. Awesome employee. Other than that the Mediterranean food was very good. Went to check out same dude rang me up and emphasized on a tip told him nope. The only one who should get a tip is the guy keeping the business going, can't have Mediterranean food without pita bread. Just paid an left then realized he charged $18.99 which is the dinner price after 4pm. Not worth the hassle to deal with the coked out cashier over $6. read more

Visited Dimassi's for the lunch buffett. This location has been opened for only a few weeks and has totally renovated the former Fuddruckers design. They have done a great job updating the interior and it looks nice. you can't tell it was a fuddruckers. We arrived 11:20a and everything was fresh and ready to go. I would say there are 20+ options on the main buffett plus a pizza and bread bar by the drink station. I enjoyed the roasted chicken as well as kabobs plus a range of veggies. They have different hummus flavors plus the traditional sauces and baba ganoush. Overall we enjoyed and will be back. read more

We went for lunch around 130pm on a weekday and the place was relatively empty. You pretty much do everything yourself here - it is a buffet so you get your own food, own drinks (at a soft drink fountain), etc. The food selection looked fresh and they were rotating trays out swiftly so it was nice to see good, fresh, and hot food. Overall a good variety of salads, vegetarian, and meat dishes - there really wasn't anything we didn't like. The only "problem" came toward the end of the meal when we observed what looked like the owner sift through the bread basket with his bare hands to find a piece he wanted...a little unsanitary, especially when there are tongs available. Excellent food quality for clean eating but not as friendly and family-like as the one in San Antonio. I do like the brighter modern decor while the one in San Antonio decor makes you feel like you're in someone's home. I'm good with either. They allow kids to hang out messing with the food on the buffet. The entire time no one said a word to them.

I cannot wait to go back. The food was delicious! Service was great because everything is out in the open for you to serve yourself, including drinks, appetizers, and dessert. The only workers were the people keeping everything clean and organized, the receptionist who also took payment, and the cooks refreshing the buffet. It was a great experience not having to wait for a drink refill and getting to see what all our drink options were (so many fun options!) read more

I was staying across the street from Dimassi's on a work trip and, being a fan of all things hummus, figured I had to check it out. They did not disappoint! The food was fresh and the variety was impressive. It's a super low-key place where you serve yourself... A very relaxed atmosphere and no sense of anyone rushing you to finish up. Don't forget to get the fresh pita bread... It lives by the dessert bar in a napkin-covered basket. I'm here for a few more days and might go back for another round! read more

This is a nice find. I stopped in for a quick lunch. The area right north of DFW is a food desert and this is next to Outdoor world. The salads are all fresh and inventive. They do a great job of keeping the area looking fresh and tidy. I had a selection of salads and bab gahnoush, with was delicious, along with some pita chips. Their were lamb meatballs, several chicken dishes and fish dishes to choose from also. They looked good. The desserts looked very tempting also. The Backlava looked authentic. If you want fresh Middle Eastern food when you're in the Grapevine area this is a must stop. read more

This is my second time ordering from this place for pick up and missing something from my order. Why pay extra for something that I'm not going to get. I ordered my food via GrubHub went to pick it up asked if everything was in there and listed the items I ordered extra Where the cashier was very dismissive. I told him I'd ordered it online, but they hadn't even begun getting my order together by the time I had arrived. After waiting there for my order to be put together, I asked was everything including my sides in the bag, seemingly upset he said everything was there and waved me away. Conclusion: Dimassi's is a solid 4.9 that could easily be a true 5 with only a few minor mods. Large variety of fresh food for many tastes at reasonable price. . Pros: food is varied and FRESH. Selections range from multiple salad types, huge assortment of vegetables and meats to fit any taste buds. From a simple baked chicken over the best saffron rice ever to gyros and kabobs. Nice selection of desserts. very clean and relaxing environment. Nice decor. Excellent value for your money (under 20/person) with lunch even less. . What a huge selection of food! First time was great so I had to come back the next day as well as bring food to-go. Very clean with a friendly atmosphere, you can tell that this place is taken care of well. I've been to many Mediterranean restaurants but this was the first where almost every dish tasted great. The gyro meat is very flavorful and tender and I kept coming back for it. Kafta kebab was slightly dry and the ice cream wasn't the creamiest but all the other dishes were very good. I had a nice lunch experience here. The redo from the Fuddruckers that was here before turned out nice. Its a nice large modern buffet dining room that is not cramped. It was late in the lunch period so it was not busy. I was conerned the food would be on "last legs" of lunch too. Wrong it was quite fresh and there was a great variety. The $15.99 lunch price is not cheap but the quality and variety make the price a valid deal. read more
