The drinks were great! The view was beautiful and the hostess was so nice! However don't go here if you have somewhere to be after because it was the slowest service I've ever experience of my life read more

Overpriced. Below average service. Not worth it at all. Wouldn't go back. Food was underwelming as well.

I made a reservation for the Fog Room about a week before my visit to Seattle. I must have made a note in the reservation about it being my boyfriend & I's anniversary because once we were seated (we were seated right away) the server and hostess gave us 2 free glasses of delicious champagne. We came to the Fog Room before our dinner reservation and had a great time. Our hostess recently moved to Seattle from the Bay Area and was such a delight! Her and our server gave us ideas for things to do on our last day in Seattle in addition to drink recommendations. My boyfriend had a moscow mule, which he loved and I had the Hotel Nacional which was perfect! The hotel nacional had great flavor & was just the right amount of sweet. We also enjoyed a side of fries. The prices were a little high but you're really paying for the breathtaking view! This was perfect for a special occasion, we'll definitely stop by for another drink the next time we're in town. read more

Five Stars for the experience and the warm hospitality of the Fog Room staff and the cocktails as we celebrated an anniversary in our group. The food was a little less than expected, however, for the price. The burger and pork belly sliders were bland and the oysters were not plump. The fries were good and hot. The charcuterie board was ample with great combination choices. read more

Fog & views!! Total 3.5 stars! But since I can't do half, I'm rounding it!! The new new! Everything is new in Seattle these days. This ones peaked my interest because it has a rooftop. We have rooftop bars but less than 5! Especially for high rises. The views! The space is big but walking in around 5 pm: all the comfy window couches were taken! So we sat outside! In the wind and rain. It was still pretty comfortable. Note to self: sit next to the fire pit next!! The drink menu seems good. But I went with my usual drink: whiskey sour! Which also happens to be on their menu but with a twist. It was more fruity! The service was ok. The water got refilled once. It was raining outside so I get it. The bar inside is pretty and expansive. Next time I'm sitting at the bar for a faster service. Overall, it was good!! Love the views! read more

I really enjoy the Fog Room. I started coming last year and now it's a stop each time I visit Seattle. It is a popular place and often busy but you can certainly find quiet times to come if you just want to relax. The deck with fire pits is a great touch for the night chill. With clear sight of the Olympics, ships coming and going on Elliott bay, and skyscrapers of the city it's a great place to hang out. I would give 5* but I haven't tried to food yet! I'll report back. I'm sure it's good. read more

Ambiance wasn't as anything out of ordinary. Food was blah at best. Service was HORRENDOUS and truly my real gripe with this place. Forced to pay for their mistakes, wasn't attentive, attitude. And after a mandatory 20% service charge, no one cared. I had one great interaction with a man who had a mustache but that was a passing moment. Disclaimer: the cocktails were tastefully done read more

Would give it less than 1 star if i could.. Spoiled our Saturday night over the long weekend.. We had a reservation for a party of 2. Waited for about 10 mins downstairs before speaking to the hostess who told us she couldn't seat us outside. We saw a table available and asked her if she could seat us there and she proceeded to inform us that they were reserving that for a party of 3 that will be arriving later (despite us having a reservation for that time). P.S. their policy also states that all preferred seating is first come first served so they were contradicting their own policy. read more

The new bar on the 16th floor of the Charter Hotel at 2nd and Stewart has some work to do I do like to give places 5 stars when I like them. I usually start at 5 and then it drops from there. It lost a star when the $8 bacon wrapped dates came. There were 2 of them. Really? For 2 dates wrapped in bacon and stuffed w/ blue cheese and walnuts? Good, but not for that price. The $15 hamachi crudo was also quite small. It took less than 2 minutes for my wife and I to finish it. It lost a star for sloppy workmanship. They have pendant lights that hang over the length of the bar that have a clear plastic or glass cover that encapsulates the light. I posted a picture of this. Most of the fixtures still had the sticker with the name of the light and product code. Some did have the sticker removed and showed its nickel finish. That's real tacky. The electrician did not bother to remove them, hence a lack of attention to detail, and the contractor either did not notice or care. Since I work for a high end GC, this is stuff that I notice instantly. That's unacceptable. Another thing they need to do is put some motorized sun shades for sunny days. It was blinding in there at 3pm. I would have given it 3 stars if it were not for the mandatory 20% service charges and then a line for a tip just to give you some guilt. Now the service was good, other than the fact no one ever came back and asked us if we needed another drink. We had to interrupt the bartender to get the second round. I usually give a minimum of 15% gratuity, even for bad service. Most of the time I give 20 and up to 30% for great service. I hate having it decided for me. read more

Fog Room - Either hide or remove the tacky sticker. The metal finish would be nice. - Cocktail Bars Near Me - Seattle, Washington

0/5 if I could. Disgusting service, rude, unprofessional, and servers with a pompous attitude pretty much sums up our visit here. Read any other 1 or 2 star review and you'll get a good idea of the Fog Room. Mediocre drinks at best, avoid this place like the plague if your party is looking for a rooftop bar with a nice ambiance. You'll have a better time litterally anywhere else. read more

We where celebrating our friends birthday tonight and it was awesome. The view was phenomenal. Our server Devin was great and attentive. It takes one person to ruin your entire experience and that is why I'm giving this review 2 stars. The stars are for the view and our waitress. 0 stars for the hostess/busser, Kris (petite brunette with long hair) We had a reservation beforehand at 6:30, we all kind of trickled in and left at 10pm. I would understand if we occupied a table and didn't order anything, but we kept ordering drinks and food. So we occupied the table for 3 and a half hours all together. I came at 7:45 after work. At 8:15 the hostess came up to our table and told us we had 30 more minutes and had to leave due to another reservation. Our waitress told us they will accommodate and seat the reservation at another table. Upon leaving, a group of 5 or 6 guys came to our table and one of them looked at me and said "are you the group that stayed here for 5 hours?" I said "I don't know, probably." The guy looked at me and said "yea so we where informed by the hostess." The hostess Kris followed to clean our table with a very bad attitude. One we were not there for 5 hours. And second, you don't tattle on customers like that. Very awful customer service on her end. We had a great evening and it was ruined by Kris. It was embarrassing and made us all feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. We spent money there to have a great time. The drink menu is very abundant, the food menu is small. But it's more of a bar anyway so that was expected. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars as it most definitely deserves it. The service was horrible even though you pay to be a Hilton Honors member. They closed down the bar downstairs and we walked up to the fog room to grab a couple beers to take back to the room, we were greeted by an a**hole of a manager that accused us of bringing in outside beers because the bartender failed to open them. He became very hostile towards my father and I. When we told him that we purchased them from the bar he became very defensive and insulting. Insisting that we leave which we gladly had no problem with due to the complete lack of hospitality from this horrible hotel, and its staff. Please find another place to stay. For the price you pay you it is definitely NOT worth it, please find another place to stay. read more

Terrible experience. Walked in to the hostess buried in her phone. She didn't look up for a good 30 seconds of us standing there. Showed up for our 6:30 reservation and we were offered a dusty patio chair or a couch in the corner. Neither of which had a table, when we were intending to get dinner. There wasn't a table for our reservation because of a private party apparently. We sat at the bar for one drink and the bartenders said less than 10 words to us. No semblance of customer service, nobody said "welcome in" or "how are you doing". We promptly asked for the check, where we discovered that 20% gratuity was automatically added to every check. No wonder customer service was bad. Never going back. read more

Reserve seating that quickly runs out on weekends - for great reason! Perfect spot for drinks/cocktails, and the food is pretty good but so-so value. Had the Toki highball and Fog Burger, medium rare. If you are coming for a spot with a view and for some conversation, a must visit a couple of blocks away from Pikes Market in downtown. read more

Loved the ambiance here. This rooftop is just what it should be - classy spot to grab a drink with great views of the city. While we didn't get a chance to try the food, the drink menu was quite extensive. Loved the squeeze me, pharaohs dance plus they offer traditional highballs, and tasting flights of mezcal, wine etc. read more

Reserved an outdoor table a month ahead. I was just back from a fun week in LA and excited to find a new cocktail bar for business and social. Even with 3 empty outdoor tables they made us sit indoors. After we were settled and drinking, they told us we had to move to a different area- no explanation or even a smile. We were stuck in a back corner and lost our view. We went from two close together sofas to far apart chairs where we couldn't hear each other. On our way out we noticed two elderly people in our spot with the rest of the area of sofas empty. Just why? Every server was rude. I wonder if it's because tipping is included so they don't try? Paid $120 for 3 drinks and 2 tiny small plates (one was fries). Drinks were ok but nothing spectacular. I prefer goldfinch tavern, the Fairmont, or the Nest. Just not worth the cost and the attitude. read more

Terrible service, would not recommend going here. Better off at the best or m bar. Here's what I think, I love upscale spots I've been to plenty. the fact they have gratuity already with your bill which is 20% is totally fine. But guess what if you're taking advantage of that and not doing your job making my experience absolutely awful then no it is not OKAY. Disgusting service, rude, never came to check on us and every drink is 40$ so figure it out yourself. read more

This place was great! It has the best views, amazing drinks and exceptional food. We came here tonight for a birthday date night and we're greeted by a very friendly hostess. It was very cold and windy out and she was kind enough to seat us inside. Our waitress was very helpful in helping us decide what to eat. The wagyu was soooooo tender and buttery. The burger was juicy and well seasoned with fries that had the exact right amount of salt. Our drinks were just as tasty. Not too strong, not too weak. Definitely make reservations quick since this place fills up fast. Putting this on my "Circle Back" list! read more

Was so grateful to find this place. Was originally going to go to the Nest but they were full, which ticked me off but whatever. The host at Fog Room was kind enough to give me the best seat in the house. The cocktails were great. Please note it's more of a bar than a restaurant but the drinks are A-1! These are not bartenders , they're mixologists. read more

What a great spot. Definitely a swanky vibe but fairly reasonable prices for such a nice place. They have indoor and outdoor dining all with that incredible view! A great selection of cocktails that all look as nice as they taste. Great food selection as well. We had the Charter board which was a nice charcuterie board and the pasta a la vodka which was sublime. Definitely recommend! Don't forget to make a reservation on Resy though read more

98% sure I got really sick from some Oysters on 3/30/22 I filled up three 1 gallon Ziploc bags with vomit. I've had food poisoning before and I know exactly how it is and I can only pinpoint this restaurant as being a contributor to my illness. read more

This roof top bar is cute but you're mainly going to be looking out at tall buildings and slivers of the sky. That being said it was still a nice view during a sunset. The service is very friendly and attentive. It has a business casual atmosphere so it's comfortable for most occasions. Didn't get to try any food because we were already full but the drinks were good. Probably wouldn't come back here but I'm glad we saw this view at least once :) read more

This rooftop bar is amazing! I love the views it offers, it feels relaxing and it's pretty modern. The drinks were bomb, the fries and oysters were great (don't judge on the combination). The hostess in person and over the phone was easy to talk to and make adjustments to our reservation number. Definately coming here again. The reason for the 4.0ish because our server took too much time to get to us. It took him 15 minutes to greet us. Then when we were ready to order, we did not see him for a solid 20 minutes, so I walked up to the bartender to get service. Again had to walk there to get our check after already asking for it a couple times. It wasn't a big deal, the staff were still nice. read more

Located within a hotel with amazing views of the city and the sea front. Ample spacing for socially distanced gatherings. Food and drinks were decent but a bit on the pricier end. Pros: Great view and very tasty drinks! Cons: The tapas were smaller than most places. Bartenders/servers who helped us (on a not busy weekday evening) were a little scattered. They forgot a drink I ordered and then didn't come to take an order of additional person who showed up in our party. Given that we are fairly laid back we honestly didn't care, the view was amazing and they ended up comping one of my drinks. So I'll be back! read more

Waited 30mins for a drinks for our 4 person group with the place half empty. We ordered a round of shots to go with our drinks. They showed up and delivered 3 people's drinks and 3 shots. We ask where the 4th persons order was and they said oh we forgot. We wait 10 more mins and then proceed to flag down another waitress to ask the same thing. We are then told they are out of the beer and Jameson (shot he ordered) so he needs to completely reorder 45 mins later at this point. Waitress'a response was sorry the bartender is new and learning how to make drinks. We asked for the check and left. Terrible service and view is not worth the price nor waiting 45mins for a single drink. Water guy was the one positive as we had 4 rounds of our water refilled by the time we got our first drink. Oh and they auto add 20% gratuity so guess their service doesn't matter your paying regardless. Avoid, there are so so many better view bars in seattle read more

Yummy and interesting cocktails, cool view and great service! Nice spot for a date night if you are downtown.

Stayed overnight in Charter Hotel for concert downtown. Enjoyed 16th floor Fog Room before and after concert. Skillful bartenders (at least 2 were "flair" bartenders), good wine lists, great choice of spirits, nice bar snack menu (try the duck sliders w magical mystery pickle slice). Beautiful sunset views. My friends and I wanted to find a place near our dinner spot to have a drink after. After a little while we managed to find this place. Cute place, dim lighting designated seating areas since the host had to seat us. The place was fairly full. There was a lot of alcohol drinks offered. I was very happy to see they had 3 spirit less drinks. Therefore, I had one of those. When waitress came back put our drinks down but no napkins. Took a little while to flag her down for napkins. The square ice cubes were so cute with the word FOG on them. Sadly, we were too full to have any food but maybe if there is next time we will try. read more

Typical overpriced hotel rooftop bar, except - basically no view because they are 16 floors up and all the buildings surrounding them are taller. Upon entry, service came with an attitude from the hostess, thanks, but no thanks.
