I chose strong, and the employee immediately responded, "Good choice." Once my pedicure started, I felt repeatedly encouraged to keep drinking. I even joked, "Y'all trynna get people drunk." Whether intentional or not, it felt like part of an upselling culture that made me uncomfortable. Next came the high-pressure sales tactics. I specifically stated that I wanted my pedicure first and would decide later whether I wanted my nails done. Despite that, the manager came over and repeatedly pushed me to do both services at the same time. When I asked to see the style book, color options, and a breakdown of pricing, the attitude noticeably shifted. I was still trying to decide what I wanted and was even showing inspiration photos, but basic questions seemed to be met with passive-aggressive responses. As a business owner, I understand wanting to maximize revenue, but as a customer who came in to relax, I did not appreciate feeling rushed through the decision-making process. By that point, I no longer wanted additional services and was becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the quality and pace of the pedicure. I decided to stop the service midway and explained that since the service was not completed, I did not believe I should be charged full price. I simply wanted to leave. After I explained my concerns, Vivian rudely stated that I could leave, then tossed my shoe from underneath her cart. I calmly said, "You don't have to throw my stuff." Her response was, "What you on?" Rather than argue, I repeated that she didn't need to throw my belongings and walked out. I later returned to report the incident to management and paid for the portion of the service that had been completed. While I expected disagreement about pricing, I did not expect the hostility, disrespect, and unprofessional behavior I experienced. I came in looking for a relaxing self-care appointment and left feeling rushed, pressured, and uncomfortable. Save your money and your peace of mind. There are plenty of salons that know how to treat customers with professionalism and respect.

Despite multiple nail techs being available, they did not work efficiently--no one doubled up on services, meaning we had to sit through separate manicures and pedicures instead of having them done at the same time. The result looked nothing like what I requested (see attached photo). To make things worse, when I had to return for a simple fix on a smudged toenail, they made me wait until they finished with five other customers before addressing it. A five-minute polish fix turned into yet another long, unnecessary wait. If you care about the quality of your nails and the service you receive, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I would absolutely not recommend this salon. I will say it's a nice clean salon. If they tried harder they could fix their 2.8 yelp review score.

I was waiting for the polish to dry, but they had put on my sandals and was told to pay at the front. Because it didn't dry all the way, my pinky toe got scraped off.
