I have been going to Michelle for almost 5 years for my nails, and when I can treat myself for pedicures. Although I live quite a bit further now I will continue to make the drive to her shop. She consistently does a great job and I've never had a problem with the quality of her work. She is not afraid to tell you if she doesn't think something will not look good. She is down to earth a hard worker. It is just her and her mom working in the salon, which makes it a relaxing place without all the extra noise. Usually I go to Trendique but I was on other end of FM 78. I wanted a pedicure & looked on Yelp, nearby salons averaged 2-3 Stars. She had 4 & Google & Facebook had near perfect reviews. Note, it's Appointment only. I got the Sea Salt pedicure & it was amazing. Simple salon but feels clean plus prices were good & she took her time which I appreciated. Based on other reviews and pics I set an appt. to have a pedicure and nails done. Michelle was quick to respond to my quote request through Yelp. When I arrived I was greeted be Michelle and waited about 20 mins. for my services. I didn't mind the wait bc it gave me a chance to see how they worked. Plus Michelle's 5 year old daughter came out and talked to me which made the time fly. Lol She was very cute and funny! Michelle's mom did my pedi and I was very satisfied. FINALLY A NAIL SALON ON 78 THATS GREAT! Michelle is the owner, she did my nails at another salon, but just hated going there due to the owner. Her shop is cute, girlie. Makes you feel at ease. She does the best nails and listens to her customers. This is my new place. One of the greatest things I liked is she is a mom and she has hours that reflect that, shes open 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (Tuesday-Friday)to be able to have time with her family. Amazing!!! I found my new nail salon. She is very good at what she does and so gentle on your natural nail even if your getting a full set done. She took her time and Was not rushed at all. Best nail salon I have found here! Booked an appointment through this app. Michelle responded very quickly and I was able to go in the next day. I got an old set removed and a new set put on, a pedicure, and my daughter got her eyebrows and lip waxed. Michelle did an excellent job on my nails and the waxing. Also you may have to wait a few minutes with an appointment, but don't sweat it. They are worth it. Best mani pedi I've had in a very long time. Every time I go to Michelle she is always so nice and sweet but even with reservations you'll have to wait 10 to 15 minutes when you get there which is quite annoying. Her mom works there with her and she makes it very obvious that she's talking shit about the costumers and it just makes the atmosphere very uncomfortable. Her son stays with her at the shop as well and as cute as he is I'm not trying to hear a toddler whine and complain for an hour and thirty minutes while I get my nails done. I also made my appointment through the messaging app which was quite handy. I did wait around 15 minutes past my appointment time but I used that time to look at the shellac colors. Very friendly people but work is not great. Pedicure was very unsatisfactory. She didn't remove skin from side of toes, water was cold, (even after I asked twice to warm it up) polish was incomplete. Massage was probably only thing that was decent. Full set was good aside from shape. Shop was clean. I had a scheduled appt and when I arrived someone was still getting her nails done. I then asked if I could get a pedi since she was running about 30 min behind. Well, after my pedi was done, I still had a wait bc she took the next appt that arrived in between before me so the wait was even longer.
