Came in for a pedicure, walk in. Went with the green tea pedicure. Felt the massage was rushed, the cleaning was rushed, and the polish was definitely rushed. The massage itself felt nice though. Smelled great too. My polish looked like it was done at home, but I can do them much nicer. The polish was all over my skin and cuticles. I came home and cleaned it up. My nails were not trimmed evenly either. One toe was trimmed with rounded edges while the rest were straight. Super disappointed in the quality. I was waiting for the polish to dry, but they had put on my sandals and was told to pay at the front. Because it didn't dry all the way, my pinky toe got scraped off. I won't be back and I don't recommend. I was really looking forward to support local businesses, but this place wasn't meant for me. They may be better at manicures, I'm not sure, but definitely will go elsewhere for a pedicure. Also, not all staffs were wearing masks and not all customers were too. I guess mask isn't mandatory here. read more

I'm new to SA and I've been to 3 other nail salons. This one did the best job and I definitely recommend for dip nails. Rocky (I think is his name) has done my nails 2 times. One time he even created a customs dip color for me. The shop isn't the fanciest but their work speaks for itself. read more

I just wanted some nice simple nails in the color nude everything came out fine except for them rushing doing my nails and toes all at once while I'm in my pedi chair ... they messed up the length on my nails you can see in the photo ... I like this place but not the service yesterday I should be able to get a free set or half off definitely wasn't worth the 65$ read more

I had a wonderful time at Awesome nails. This is my second time coming and they truly made one of the best nail set I ever had! (It's based on appointments for our safety )I highly recommend going there if you are unsure. I absolutely love flowers and the fact that the nail technician was able to design such a beautiful piece of flower on my nail made my day :) I am very satisfied and will definitely come back again. Valerie did my set, this is a fill in from the last set i got and the artist was really patient with me! :) also her work is super good, i work with ladders and i use my hands pretty roughly and they held up great, no cracking or chipping in the span of TWO weeks . only thing that made me kinda iffy with Awesome nails was each time i visited i made a appointment for me and my friend and i had to wait over a hour each time. other than that , the salon is clean and willing to work with you for what u want. read more

In San Antonio for the weekend and I found this salon on Google after searching for a nail salon near the San Antonio airport. It's Good Friday and everything I tried near my hotel in Riverwalk, was booked. I booked the appointment online while on a layover and came straight from the airport. I got a deluxe manicure and pedicure . Ivan was amazing! His hand and leg massages were everything! I arrived very tired and carrying a great deal of stress. I hadn't had a manicure or pedicure in a few months and he was incredibly patient and took his time. My nails look great. Ivan was also friendly and personable. I learned on the way out that his wife is the woman in the first chair. If I lived here this would absolutely be my spot. read more

I made an appointment through Booksy for a Monday and an employee called to confirm the appointment date and time. First she thought I was making an appt for that same day and I let her know I was making it for Monday the 28th. She said that was fine and confirmed the time. I show up at the time of my appt and see they're closed Mondays and apparently have been for a while. It's ridiculous they would let me make an appointment and confirm it for a day they know that they're not even open. read more

I called around town and Awesome Nails took me that day. The contrast was stunning. This was the cleanest, friendliest, Salon with the most competent staff I've encountered in a very long time. First time here and Loc did an amazing job. I came in with little time and hoping he could fix a set I had done at another salon, he informed me the set I had would only continue to lift and suggested I get a new set. I was apprehensive since I only had an hour to spare. Loc painlessly removed my old set and gave me a perfect ombre set in 30 minutes!! I went to Awesome Nails & Spa based off the reviews I read from google. Once I arrived, I was asked what service and I responded dip powder for my nails and a pedicure. The man who works for Awesome replies that they are only doing shellac pedicures. I left because I don't get shellac on my toes. Just FYI! Might save you a trip!! read more
