I got a fill on my nails, and while the guy did a good job overall he filed my thumb nail down to far on one side & its uneven. And he also nicked my skin, I ended up bleeding lol. I was very skeptical to wether write this or not because I am not a feet person. I am very picky about who gets to see my feet but I decided to go here because my friend really recommended it. I was not disappointed. I went on a Monday around 3pm and it was not busy at all so it was really quiet and nice. The staff was really nice and kind from beginning to end. I really loved ny experience here. The guy who did my pedicure was so gentle but soothing and he did not hurt me or made me feel uncomfortable at all. It was the opposite I felt so relaxed and pampered. The massage chair was definitely 10/10 and it completed the experience! I got the express pedi with shellac and loved it! I got a white basic color and it was coated nicely but before he finished he asked if I wanted an extra coat since it was a sheer white and I appreciated that because it felt like it was to my satisfaction. came here on a wednesday evening for a pedi with a friend! everybody was soooo nice, the pedicure itself (massage, moisturizing treatment, etc) was great and well needed. but when i got home and took an actual look at my toes, they look like i painted them myself at home. i usually do press-ons for my toes, because they're cheap and get the job done, but we needed to relax, so we did pedis! unfortunately, my toes were cut/filed uneven, the polish job is clumpy, and there is shellac still on my skin the next day. i'll probably come back, but i am disappointed. read more

I tried this place based on the reviews... man was I totally wrong. Just because a place is in a nicer location doesn't mean you'll get the nice things. Initially, the service was OK I waited for about 15 minutes after they sat me down they weren't busy which was strange to have me wait but I waited patiently since this was my first time there. I was excited for the reviews and videos i had seen on TikTok. I usually interact with a nail tech to ask if they know how to do certain designs that I search online. He assured me he could, I ended up changing my mind to a different design which he stated he could do. I requested hot pink, but he tried to give me a red. My friend showed him the color that I was looking for and he ended up giving me what I asked for no complaints. Other than he was rough with my hands, removing the dip that I had prior my cuticles were bleeding and burning in the solution to remove them. When I left, my nails were OK just a lot sore from the buffing machine. I notice within 45 minutes of running errands that my nails had bubbles and were looking like they had cracked. I called them and informed them of my nails. They asked me to come down and when I did another nail tech began to tell me that he thinks they look fine but all they could do was buff it out and put on another coat. He kept repeating the color looks fine that I'm just seeing something that's not there. I told him in the light you can see the issues that I'm seeing so he has me go under the light at his station, and he tells me well that's the color that I chose so there's nothing he can do other than buff it out and add another coat. I tell him I'm not looking for a refund I'm just looking for it to be fixed or we can just change out the color take it out he then informs me that I can pay him additional $30 for the color change and it's all that he can do or he can buff it out and put the same color. I tell him that's not my fault that's your product that did this to my nails I paid you your money I'm not asking for a refund. I am asking for it to be corrected so he tells me I will try buffing the color, he tries to match it and refuses to color match the design so I begin to get frustrated. I tell him just fix it please. The nail tech kept saying well it looks good over and over. I was no longer responding to this man. He was just as rough on my nails as a previous tech. Once he finishes he says it looks good now. I just got up and I left very unsatisfied. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I don't know how the people that go there continuing to go there. They have bad customer service and they run their business just as bad. You get an automatic message to call the salon again ummm how about I already did that and I'm not letting you all touch my hands for a third time so you can tell me that it's my fault and if I want to change it then pay more money. Ridiculous Staff won't give the owners information to report well now we will report you through the state. This place should be shut down. I have been going to this salon for over 8 months. The old owners sold the salon so majority of the staff are new to the salon. Wanting to give the new staff an opportunity, I stayed and got my nails done. Once I told the nail tech what I wanted done, he gave me push back telling me their was a simpler way of doing it. The old owners ALWAYS did my nails this way, and I never had any issues with my nails. Not wanting to be a bother I let him do the easier method (after he gave me push back twice). The nail tech completely rushed through my service, and less than a week later my nails are chipped. I will not be returning, the quality of service doesn't compare to the last owners. read more

DO NOT COME HERE !!! PLEASE READ : I came to this nail salon on November 19, 2022 for two pedicures and one full set. First of, the female nail tech kept repeatedly misgendering my brother & when I hinted and said "MY brother", "HE", etc. she continued to blatantly misgender him. Not only does she misgender him, I repeatedly told her that I didn't want my pinky toe to be cut done because it was already short, she says okay & proceeds go towards to go to cut it I tell her "oh not that one, please" and she says "just a little bit" and STILL PROCEEDS cut my pinky toe so short that you are unable to even paint that shit. During the pedicure she is forcefully pushing down my toes, grabbing my ankles very tight and pulling them closer to her and is just being rude in general. (y'all I'm not overreacting, i've had my toes done before many time and not even the men be grabbing me like that) At this point, I'm questioning to even give her a tip at all, but that's not even the worst part. After she's done taking off the dead skin from my feet, she begins showing me the amount of dead skin I have repeatedly and saying " that's a lot of skin" and "look omg" and proceeds to show my brother, when he didn't turn to look, she put it down then he turns to look in her direction and she starts showing him and making comments about the amount of dead skin that is getting off my feet. I wouldn't have mind if we was cool but we wasn't, and she was just humiliating me in front of everyone. After the message and the hot towels, everything was going smoothly and then it went so downhill so fast. She begins to paint my nails with the top coat first and is starting on the other one. After she puts the top coat she goes back to my right foot and begins to paint them white, and she proceeds to switch to my left foot for the white coat. She's on my right toe trying to get a hangnail or something that is in between my nail and toe. Mind you she had already did this when she was cutting down my toes. She completely cuts a piece of skin off and I'm bleeding. She says sorry then wipes it up and put the nail dryer on my toes. As soon as she lifts the dryer there's just blood everywhere, and I mean dripping down to the towel, all over my big and just looks like someone stabbed my toe. She proceeds to wipe my toe, and put the dryer on. This goes on for a good 6- 10 mins. She finally gets up and gets an unknown blue substance that I'M PRETTY SURE IS USED ON MANICURE OR FULL SETS onto my OPEN WOUND to stop the bleeding. It's burning and again she just wiped it and then puts the dryer. It's still bleeding so she goes to grab NAIL GLUE and attempt to put it on MY OPEN WOUND. I told her DON'T put that on my toe. She keeps saying just a little bit and I just said no don't put it on my toe. At this point my fumen i'm trying so hard not to lash out on this women but the tension between us was already building up before she even cut me. Mind you it's still bleeding, like yes it is a little bit less but it's coming out. She then proceeds to try and paint another layer of shellac on my wounded big toe. That is so gross, first off how many other toe nails have been used with that and you're gonna put it on a open wound?? Like who in their right mind would even think that's okay. Blood, MY BLOOD, was mixed in with the white nail polish and top coat/ clear coat. After all that she says "it was just a small cut , i don't know what happened ", then she proceeds to compliment me and my hair taking about " I like your hair, it's so sexy. " Mind you she had the whole 3 HOURS of DOING MY PEDICURE TO SAY THOSE THINGS AND YET SHE SAID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING until she cuts my toe. She keeps apologizing and saying she's sorry, that's she didn't mean to and hugs me. I just went to the front to pay for the two pedicures and said fuck the full set. This place will NEVER do any type of service for me again nor will receive anything from me. Please do not come here I had to clean it myself when I got home out of fear it was gonna be infected. Took a chance on this brand new nail spa right next to Starbucks in Northwoods. They've only been open for 7. months so I decided to support this new business. Got there right after 12 noon on Sunday and they already had 4 customers getting their nails done. Not bad! I was immediately greeted and led to my chair as soon as I informed them what I wanted done. The salon was very clean and they seem to have enough nail techs to take five in plus two more who walked in immediately after I did. Basically, great first impression. I'm actually writing my review done as I'm getting my pedicure which is the reverse of what I should be doing. I figured I can edit my review if I decide to change ny star rating. Went in to get a pedicure & full set. Was greeted & sat right away(it was not busy) . 40 minutes of waiting in the pedicure chair with nothing done , I was asked to move to get my hands done first. Mind you, there was 3-4 other people who came in AFTER me and sat right away with services almost completed before I was moved to work on my hands. I requested a full set of short acrylics with a french tip. They were rushed and half my real nails aren't even fully attached to the acrylic/tips so any and everything is getting stuck in between them. Not only that, but there was acrylic that had dropped underneath and wasn't cleaned up. Yesterday, which made 8 days of having this full set on, one of those parts of acrylic that had dropped over broke off. NOT EVEN 2 WEEKS (which is recommended time before needing a full set refilled) AND IT BROKE!!! I do not work or do anything crazy that would cause my nail to break. Loved this nail shop until I got the wrong nail tech this past Saturday. She was rude, zero patience and pushed me off to two other nail techs. The rudeness is tolerated and accepted here. I called the manager to complain because due to rudeness and multiple nail techs did not get what I asked for although charged $85. I tipped also because it wasn't last persons fault. I called to give feedback and manager said to come in. She then proceeded to waste my time defending her person and yelling across the salon saying I didn't hear what I heard. Did I mention I called first? Did not feel heard at all. She then charged me again to fix. So all in all I paid 120 to get what I asked for. Lastly, the nail tech did the MOST to not start over, extra gel polish, drilling around nails... really save your time. This place was nice and clean. The staff was professional and friendly. My nails (powder dip gel matte) were done to the color and style and looked great upon leaving the salon. Once I got home I realized one of the nails (thumb) was bumpy on the surface - like It needed to be filed down more. And then a few days later one of the nails started to lift. I'm not sure if it's because I got a matte finish or if it was the quality of the dip powder. Other than that, I'd go again if I were in that area.
