I live in the area and have been going here for the past few years. I generally get the upgraded pedicure and very basic manicure with no polish. I always ask for Henry as my preferred technician. My toe polish lasts quite a while and is always done professionally; if he messes up he redoes it without me asking. I am never pressured to buy anything. The salon is clean, all precautions are taken and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I've been getting my nails done at Vibrant Nails for the past year. The place is clean and for the most part, their nail technicians are friendly. An added bonus is the wine they offer which I take them up on from time to time (not meaning to nitpick BUT they chill their red wine which is a no-no). At any rate, I like Lillie who's done my shellacks and my manicures. She's very friendly but she's an up-seller so beware! Henry isn't very friendly but I've been happy with his pedicures. I recently tried their powder coated polish and liked the end result. Hope it lasts a while since this cost me $40. A bit pricey for something that may only last a couple of weeks. The verdict is out on this. All together, I intend on continuing to be their regular customer. It's convenient, prices are competitive and more importantly, they serve wine. read more

I came with my mother today looking to get the traditional mani/pedi. We were swiftly whisked to the back and put in the giant, relaxing, massaging pedicure chairs. They did our nails while we got our pedis. Both Mom and I opted to try the dipping powder for our manicures. It is quite a process! And in the end they were perfectly pink and shiny. My color had the sort of see-through-ness that a popsicle has, and my mom's was a beautiful pinky-lilac. If you try it be warned that it'll look kinda weird till the end. But once they put the topcoat on it is shiny (and strong)! The manicures were great, but the pedicures were out of this world! Yes, my toes were a perfect shiny red in the end, but the process - oh my lord -I was an ooey gooey melty mess by the time he was done. The salt scrub, masque, and hot towel wrap were so relaxing! Women of the world - you owe it to yourselves to have your hard working feet pampered and rubbed into a state of bliss. I cannot more highly recommend them. read more

Came into this place as a walk-in and seriously got one of the best pedicures ever! I went with the midline option- I think it was called the "supreme pedicure". It had a sugar scrub and hot towels. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and, thankfully, there was no wait. I asked for a regular mani/pedí (no shellac) as I brought my own non-shellac nail color along. The place is clean and pretty and I was offered a glass of wine, which was a nice touch. The staff kept pushing the shellac manicure, which was odd because I told them I wanted just a regular spa manicure at least 3 times, but I'm guessing that's just what they do. My manicurist was very quiet, but she had great hands, and the leg/hand massage was terrific. Honestly, I've had better manicures (the top coat was a little bubbly), but the overall experience was pretty good. I do wish they'd use higher end products, but that's just my personal bias and has nothing to do with the service. It's close to home and reasonably priced..I'll probably be back! read more

The salon offers water, soda, or wine, but we choose to BYOB and they happily oblige with a wine opener and glasses. The color selection of nail polish is diverse without being too large (I prefer not having 2000 options). Lovely muzak plays in the salon to aid in the relaxation. First, they don't use sterilized tools, just picked up from a random dish at another station. Second, I had to grab the nail file 3 times to even out the poor and ridiculously rushed filing job they did. Third, they cut my cuticle with their unsanitary cuticle clippers. The cherry on top of this mess is they didn't even paint my nails decently, leaving either gaps or uneven paint at the bottom of the nails. The staff definitely pushes for the shellac manicure and I succumbed, but Lily did a good job with it. There was a promotion they were running that brought the shellac mani from $35 to $28, and the pedicures we got were $65 but went down to $55, in short, we spent about $300. They have business cards that they will stamp if you spend at least $25 on a service, however, after we paid they refused to stamp our card saying that we only paid $28 for our shellac nails.
